  • This is one of my favorite Korean street food. I wanted to share the best possible tteobokki recipe you can make at home. This recipe alone is great but remember this is the base of all spicy rice cake recipe and if you want to make it spicer or sweeter, make sure to add more sweets or pepper paste.
Hope you guys enjoy this recipe much as I enjoy making it for you.

I LOLed when you said "English is a hard language." I'm learning Korean and my head is spinning because the characters make different sounds depending on rules I don't, yet, understand.

Here in Australia we say oregano like the chef, not the American way.

07:05 i've also heard plenty of people ask why americans love cheese so much LOL so as a korean-american you gotta practically slap EXTRA cheese on it 😂

What part of Philly did you grow up in or did you live in when you were FOB? I grew up in Jersey but spent my entire life traveling between Philly Jersey and New York. Whether it's Penn's landing or Northeast Philly I don't go past Kensington Ave because it scares me but there's a Chinatown and koreatown and Asian markets in every Metro area like Philly Jersey and New York .

I believe with more accessible ingredients people should be free to incorporate things they may not traditionally had. Plus melted cheese on things just kicks it up a notch.

NOOOOO The cheese ruins it ! The trend of mixing cheese into Korean food is awful and ruins everything.
