Beginning of May 2024 was the worst time in my life, I came off diazepam I did taper at first then tried to get help from drug addiction councillor, and the doctors they started fighting between themselves who was helping which left me going Tw,cold Turkey 5 months off pure hell followed I thought I was dying, from palpitations, internal burning sensations, constant headaches, sickness, sensory sensitivity, tremors, to seizures and then paralysis which I was rushed into hospital, had 2 MRI scans were everything was normal sent home Anxiety shot throw the roof and what I thought was bells palsy went on for 9 weeks before my left side went into paralysis and I ended up in hospital with a 3 day migraine having been diagnosed with FND,having gone through such a horror my cns collapsed I came across your videos and have been practicing breathing and somatic tracking exercises its helping, Thank you ❤ it's a long road but with some self love and patience if I could be half the person I was I would be happy ,

Wow I’m tapering lorazepam now and it’s challenging. How long were you on diazepam, Anita? I’m so sorry you had to go through this because it appears doctors don’t know anything about coming off these damn benzos.
My doctor put me on them in April this year for this awful face pain I had.
Now I’m trying to taper and it’s bloody awful.
How are you feeling now? Good luck to you, I know what you’re going through. ❤

I am on Buprenorphine skin patches for chronic back pain and can relate to what you are going through Anita. I have managed to go down to a lower dose, but can't get off them completely due to the awful withdrawal symptoms. I think videos like this are very helpful though. Stay strong 💕

@@canoegirl6335 I know what it's like! I'm coming down from a similar medication. Tanner's videos have helped a lot 💕

@@aussiegirl-jx7nj wow you’re on a skin patch and still deal with withdrawals? I had no idea that would happen also with patches.
      Poor you.
I was put on Prozac as well in July so I’m hoping one day to be off of all this stuff. Never expected this to be my life at 60. Praying for us both!

Keep this up.. I could use videos like this every day.. I would say that for me there is a balance of doing too much exercise and not enough.. I think my pain does dictate how much and how extreme my exercise is..

Hi Tanner, many thanks for your inspiring channel 🤩Could you consider doing a video on dealing with side effects when trying to lower pain medication dosage? Thank you!

When being triggered/feeling anxious because of sensations/stored emotions, in order to feel and process them, is it better to first down regulate the nervous system before diving into it?
I've tried to process an emotion when I was triggered and the intensity became worse.😮 Another time after doing a little bit of yoga (after I was just lightly triggered), I was able to process difficult sensations. So is it first better to do a regulation technique/safety signal, before processing the things that occur?
I just want to make sure that I got it right, I don't want to experiment around and make things worse lol🤔

😊 thank you great video!! I must say I'm so grateful that my back Sensations got a lot better through grated exposure
But I have a question can this work with tinnitus? I had synonyms on and off for many years I believe due to the loud music in my ears than became chronic due to lots of stress it got a lot better the tone and Pitch became very low it was not even noticeable. Now for a week it's Spike back up and it's around a 6 I believe it's because I was working out with loud music In my ears for many weeks ever since then it spiked the Tinnitus I'm trying to remain calm any tips?

It's very hard to get regulation when you are on Diazepam and the Gabba receptors not functioning and the excitatory glutamate receptors keep on causing more sensitisation Moree excitation of the central nervous system as well as having chemical anxiety that keeps driving the pain😢

You can't face trauma until your nervous system is more regulated
