Iam now a third year student and I'm looking forward to do my internship abroad during the summer of 2021 through Erasmus program. Can you stay in the country of your choice and get a job after it? For example, your traineeship in a company ends - can they hire you for a fulltime? What if they can't - can I apply for a visa for looking for a job? Thank you so much!
Hi! So when I was doing my traineeship in 2018, my university hadn’t had an agreement with the university that I was reaching out to. With the Erasmus student exchange it might be different (I never participated so I can’t say), but with the traineeship it’s you who enters into an agreement with the place you want to intern in. So you can keep reaching out to the places where you want to do your traineeship in and see if they’d be open to it. I would also recommend first going to the foreign affairs office at your university and asking them questions about the particular policies that they might have in place for the Erasmus traineeship program. @@LauraMaliszewska thankyou, I did contact my university offices and they're working on that. I am from Kenya , doing a semester abroad in Lithuania spring next year and looking to combine it with a summer traineeship in Belgium 🥳🥰
My Question: I m doing my masters in Germany and got an internship offer at Italy... The organisation that provided me Internship told me that I can use the Erasmus+ scholarship... I don't know where to start...
Unless you study in Europe, you won't be eligible for an Erasmus internship. You can look for other offers on websites that collect internship offers for everyone, such as Indeed.
