Make sure to watch Part 2 - How to find, apply for and land your perfect Erasmus internship: bit.ly/2ER75Bh ⭐️ Have you ever gone somewhere with Erasmus +?
Ta rozmowa to dla mnie bardzo inspirująca lekcja tego, że wszystkiego można się nauczyć, że trzeba walczyć z lenistwem i że zawsze trzeba kierować się ciekawością.
Perfect video. My mum has also taken part as a teacher in 3 Erasmus programms. In fact she organized all of them and I can tell that she was really passionate and dedicated and that's why they managed to get the money and all of the things related. She was working sooo hard when she was doing all of the paperwork and it's sad that her colleagues didn't help her that much. However, her hard work was totally paid off. They went to London, Rome and Madrid. Only teachers took part in the programme because they didn't want to take the responsibility to take their students with them. They had the opportunity to visit international schools and they got in touch with teachers of these schools. They also attended daily classes in English about different subjects. I guess it's fascinating to get to know how the school system works in other countries when being a teacher. They also had the chance to get to know the cities but they mostly went to museums and the programm was full. It was really interesting to listen to your experience and I've just heard so much about Erasmus. I feel that I have to try this out when I will be a student.(I'm 14 now)
@@LauraMaliszewska Absolutely!! I watched your previous video where you answered the questions related to Europe travelling, education etc. So I decided that I will study in France or my favorite, Poland instead.
Hey, Laura, I'm a Ph.D. student and I am going to Spain for Erasmus one semester 5 months ,thanks for telling us your story ,I'm a little bit anxious because I don't know the language but I'm also excited
Ta rozmowa to dla mnie bardzo inspirująca lekcja tego, że wszystkiego można się nauczyć, że trzeba walczyć z lenistwem i że zawsze trzeba kierować się ciekawością.
Definitely! Like I said in the video, there is a set number of months that you can “use up” for your Erasmus mobility. You can definitely go more than once as long as the minimum duration for each activity (exchange and traineeship programs) and a total maximum of 12 months per study cycle is respected. I think that you can do both the exchange and the traineeship during one study cycle, I’m not sure if going on an exchange twice during the same study cycle is possible.
Hey Laura, greetings from Croatia. I am 16 and I fluently speak Croatian, Serbian, Bosnian, and English. At the moment I am trying to learn Dutch so I am wondering are you gonna maaybe start learning Dutch so you realease video- How I learned Dutch haha. Take care
Croatian, Bosnian and Serbian is like saying you speak Australian, English and American... Same language, different accents/dialects. Just for everyone who doesn't know tho
Hi! I am from Pakistan, and would like to apply for erasmus. But the website is too daunting, and too many difficult words are used! Can you please upload a video explaining everything about the program with a screen recording? My second question is that can I apply for a traineeship in a hospital? Would I get hired as an assistant Nurse?
Hi! Thank you so much for asking, Syeda. You're saying you're from Pakistan but do you study in the European Union? The Erasmus Program is only for students who study in the EU + a few more European countries.
Yes, this is a European program. You have to have studied at a European University for at least 1-2 semesters before you can apply to go somewhere with Erasmus.
thanks for your advice, I got my acceptance in Erasmus+ this year and I have to get an invitation letter from one of the universities on a limited deadline. But I don't know how to think about it. how to choose the country and the university.
Hey Laura, this video was absolutely amazing! Loved it. I have also applied for my Erasmus+ traineeship and I am due to leave for Spain in November and I am super excited, however I study in Turkey and Turkey is not part of the Schengen region, so I am a little bit worried about my visa process due to the COVID-19. Do you think Erasmus is considered an essential reason to travel to the EU since Turkey is not part of the EU?
I'm so excited for you! I don't know anything about visas (never applied for any) but I know that when I was in London, there were many Turkish students there 😊 and the UK was in the EU then, so I guess it should be fine. Always check all the regulations and updates on the relevant websites, it can all change so quickly now. Best of luck to you and I hope you enjoy your traineeship!❤
I know for sure that some people still get to go somewhere this semester. You have to apply in advance, though, and 2020 is the last year of this version of the program. They may introduce some changes.
Laura, thank you very much for this interesting and useful video! May I clarify something? The company can be any private/public firm, but it has to be from Eramus + countries? In essence, they just sign an agreement with the institution and no other paperwork for the company?
Hi Sorry to bother you I wanted to know if someone who isn't from the EU can apply for a traineeship in the EU. I'm from Pakistan and would like to gain experience in Europe. I also wanted to mention my university doesn't have an ERASMUS+ dedicated webpage, will this hinder my applicationif I am eligible to apply?

Hey I loved your video! I am going to London with Erasmus in September (so pretty soon)! Idk if I will need a visa for after 2020 but I am going to ask my teachers again. I also have to get a debit card as I am getting a flat their and I can‘t pay the bills with my German cards apparently any tips?
Hi! You're going to love your internship, I can feel it! As for finances, I used (and still use) a Revolut card and it works best! If you want to start using it and get rewards, click my referral link in the description ❤

@@LauraMaliszewska Amazing☺☺, thank you ! God Bless you!!
Can we continue our traineeship in a company after the erasmus period of 12 months ends? Like, on our own, without ever leaving that country?
That depends on whether the company would want to employ you, and all the paperwork that goes with it.

Revolut is British, too! I loved it and it always worked. Good luck!
Laura Maliszewska thanks for the tip ❤️
I am from india. Can I apply for a summer internship.
The Erasmus program is for students studying within Europe. If you study in Europe, you can apply for an internship with Erasmus.
Thank you so much Laura.
Do you have an email account?
Thank you! You can contact me through my business email - it's in the description of my video.

Ok, thank you
Is there an age limit?
No! As long as you study at a university in Europe that is included in the program, you can go at any age 😊
