Lol! She's had a crazy long career so far and I've followed her since the begining! But then I thought something else that was just crazy to think about too! Oksana Chusovitina: 17 World Championships winning 11 medals (3 gold. 4 silver. 4 bronze) & 7 Olympics winning 2 medals (1 gold. 1 silver)! But then I remembered Simone Biles: Only 5 World Championships winning 21 medals (15 gold. 3 silver. 3 bronze, as of right now) & just 1 Olympics winning 5 medals (4 gold. 1 bronze)! Now imagine if her career would last as long as Chusovitina, wow! As it stands right now Simone would need to compete in 12 more worlds and 6 more Olympics to equal Chusovitina's longevity! However Chusovitina would have needed to win at least one medal at every worlds to have the medal haul Simone does, lol! Such drastic differences between the two. Regardless of all that they both have a few things in common: skills in the COP named after them on FX & Vault, both have records that will probably never be broken (longevity & medal haul), bars are the weakest event for both and both were 16 y/o at their first Worlds! Crazy stuff! Those two are iconic legends!

Oksana is such a legend, and as can’t imagine how strong her mentality is to have participated in EIGHT Olympics! Almost all of us have never participated in even a single one, let alone Eight! One of artistic gymnastic’s greatest ever women gymnasts, alongside Olga Korbut and Nadia Comaneci. Truly admire her!

@Sally Vee oh i know she doesn't need it to qualify but I want her to do it😜She did'nt do the produnova in 2016 qualies, either. I hope she can do it again! I did'nt know her vault was a 5.8? Wow. I haven't really paid attention to the code of points in this cycle but that's high! That's like, as much as an Amanar these days, right?(i was way more into gymnastics when Amanars were valued at 6.5😜). If she does the Produnova in a possible olympic event final and puts it to her feet; she could medal How crazy would that be?😃

Not only over-rotated but did not splay her knees in the frog-like way like Produnova herself and others who took the challenge. If she'd allowed herself the ugly way the others did, she would have definitely complete Prod successfully.

I don't think there will EVER be a female gymnast out there again like Oksana. She set the bar so high of her longevity of the Sports. Gymnastics is such an extremely difficult sport because most of the female gymnasts "prime" are at their teenage years. The sports gets difficult as the girl gets older and their body changes to womanhood. It takes a toll on the body and also injuries are also quite common. These are the main reason that many top gymnasts quit the sport after achieving their dream of either winning an Olympic gold medal, national championships, wining an event finals or just qualifying for the Olympics is already a major accomplishments because only a few gets selected. Oksana is really a legend of the Women's Gymnastics Sports. She will forever be known as an icon of the sport. Much Respect, Much deserved!
