He is now in his early 70's, and still lookin' mighty fine ! great genetic stock I think (his parents too were both good looking and musically talented).

I do not understand how anyone could ever think there was a better voice. EVER! Smooth, elegant, high notes, name it. Even his breathing sounds like music that blends perfectly. I am so glad I grew up with his music.

the brilliance of this album other than Steve is Lincoln Brewster. While I have to respect his move to leave popular music and follow his faith (he's been the music pastor at the Bayside mega church near my house for years and a well regarded Christian Contemporary artist) he had the opportunity to become one of the greatest rock guitarists of his time had he not.

Was lucky enough to catch him solo on the Strange Medicine tour. OMG, will never forget that night. What a great, great GREAT concert - when it was over and we were leaving total strangers were smiling at each other and just shaking our heads - because we were all so drained. There was nothing to say, it was so good. OMG. Steve Perry 4ever!
When I lived in Las Vegas, I remember I was driving down I-15 near Downtown, about to approach the Spaghetti Bowl when the radio DJ from FM 92.3 introduced this new song from Steve Perry. It brought chills up and down my spine upon hearing it because I had been waiting 8 years for something from my favorite rock singer. I made a detour and headed straight to Tower Records off of Flamingo Blvd. to buy the CD. Several months later I was at the old Aladdin Hotel/Casino watching Perry sound as good live as he did in the CD. Now that I live in Los Angeles, I am hoping that one day while driving down the 405 I will have a similar experience. Perry, I know you Portuguese live forever, but you better hurry up and get that new CD out before you start losing your teeth.

Was lucky enough to catch him solo on the Strange Medicine tour. OMG, will never forget that night. What a great, great GREAT concert - when it was over and we were leaving total strangers were smiling at each other and just shaking our heads - because we were all so drained. There was nothing to say, it was so good. OMG. Steve Perry 4ever!

When I lived in Las Vegas, I remember I was driving down I-15 near Downtown, about to approach the Spaghetti Bowl when the radio DJ from FM 92.3 introduced this new song from Steve Perry. It brought chills up and down my spine upon hearing it because I had been waiting 8 years for something from my favorite rock singer. I made a detour and headed straight to Tower Records off of Flamingo Blvd. to buy the CD. Several months later I was at the old Aladdin Hotel/Casino watching Perry sound as good live as he did in the CD. Now that I live in Los Angeles, I am hoping that one day while driving down the 405 I will have a similar experience. Perry, I know you Portuguese live forever, but you better hurry up and get that new CD out before you start losing your teeth.
