- In todays video we start off preparing for a day at market. Later I show you how the market looks after we get set up and also how we sell to the customers. At the same time Sammi is at home doing a little harvesting and washing with Frank and Steph

I've heard that when the Cauliflower begins to form, you can gather the leaves up like a ponytail and band them shielding the head from the sun and eliminating the yellowing. May also provide some pest relief later in season.

Always good to see Sammi. She’s a keeper Logan. Where do you get the knives you use in the field to cut cauliflower and such. I think my mom used to have done like them. Anyways. A othr awesome video as always. Yiu have quite the talent for putting together quality videos.

If you fold some Leaves over the head of the cauliflower when ist Starts to build IT will stay White. The yellow color comes fromm sunlight.

I stopped in Walmart and they wanted $7.50 for a 5lb bag of potatoes. I left. I will get them from a farmers market. I need beets. I make sweet n sour beets and can about 3 dozen jars of them. I have already made zuchini bread and only have two left so that's on my list. Great video!

How on earth do you make it look so easy to grow all of that? This year has been absolute hell with the drought here in Texas and the unprecedented heat! It’s been 100 degrees plus almost every single day since the first week in June!! So you can’t water enough no matter how much you try.

I am also curious.I know you maybe don*t have time for this,but have you ever hidden cauuliflower from the sun by bringing the leaves together with elastic rubbers.Of course,it requires some time,but also keeps cauliflowers white and attractive for clients.
We have thousands of cauliflower and most of them are usually covered by the leaves, that sure is a great idea but we usually pick them before they get too late.
