Oh my goodness! This was one of the best you guys have done. I laughed so hard with you both so many times, I lost count. Keep wanting to comment on something but then something else happened, again and again. Thanks for a wonderful Sunday morning, hope you both have a great fortnight!
When I weave in ends I make sure that i change directions after an inch or so. Making the change in direction really helps the ends stay put! At least, they do for me. Great Podcast, by the way!
Between you guys and Sweet Tea No Shade, I'm cracking up all the time, you are so freakin funny together! Absolutely love you both. Your makes and projects are awesome, too. Have a great week! :)
I've started watching you guys from the beginning since ive just found you and i'm loving how the books are slowly disappearing episode by epiosde and being replaced by lovely yarn. You guys are awesome so glad i've found you x
wow, a lot of you boys today, thanks so much i got both of the socks kitchenered while watching!! loved both of the shawls, those will be perfect for this Fall, i have to say, as an old lady knitter, when i started knitting so much was on straight needles, even for sweaters and such, there was always purling to be done so i think we grew up getting quick with practice, harder now which so much knitting in the round and a much higher percentage of just knit stitch, might be one of the few advantages of age, since i never think of purling as slower knitting!! knitting dishcloths is perfect mindless knitting i think and useful too, going to check out the patterns Ray talked about! love all your lovely yarns, i have serious stash envy, the MAL has been good, really been in search of projects to make my hubby, i am looking forward to Kevin publishing his pattern!! i really loved the inappropriate bags, they were a hoot! really just enjoy watching your videos, always puts me in a great mood, you 2 have a great fortnight, stay safe, love you boys!! ♥
Kevin, I am a new subscriber. I have been watching your and Ray's videos in reverse order ie., (from the most recent "Lives" - Jan. 4, 22 & episode 51, to this one, episode #13). This is my first comment and, it is about your Stephen West shawl, Boneyard. I wanted to say that you created a fabulous finished product! Your choice of color layering created a versatile and very wearable garment! If you have not worn it lately, you should! It is fabulous! 🙂 Ray, I love yours too! You made me remember my first knitted (with purling) shawl and how I felt the purling would go on forever! Glad I stayed with it and I know that you surely were glad about your finished product too! You both are amazing and I am looking forward to finishing my (binge) watching of your older videos soon! Thanks guys! 💕
Hi Ann! Thank you so much for subscribing we really appreciate it. I had to go back and watch this episode, I really loved the way my Boneyard turned out, it is a lot of knitting but so beautiful.
Hey guys, here is website I use when asked to increase or decrease evenly on a pattern. www.worldknits.com/knitting-calculators. It takes the guess work out and is awesome! I have it saved on my computer and phone. I am currently knitting a sweater for my son (the first I have knit for him) which is very similar to the flax but uses moss stitch on the sleeves. I have overspent on yarn and needles lately so made a promise to myself not to buy any new yarn until October (so hard to do but I have lots of yarn already bought for specific projects so it's a must), then my boy came out yesterday asking me knit him a sweater (which I planned to do in the fall). So it doesn't count if I buy yarn to knit for my son, right?! haahah Have a great weekend guys, great to see your faces again, it was a gift to have your video pop up just as I sat down with my Sunday morning coffee and knit project.
I have so enjoyed your podcast - went back to watch from the beginning and was laughing out loud with this latest one. Thank you for being your authentic selves - you are a joy to spend time with!
Hi guys. Discovered your podcast a couple of days ago. UA-cam suggested it to me and I am forever grateful. I love long and chatty podcast because it feels like beeing at a knit night with people. And I love Ray speaking close to the microphone - he is to cute to scare anyone. And by the way - I'm from Oslo, Norway.
SO glad I stumbled across your channel today!! :) so fun to hang out with you guys and get your perspective on knitting, yarns etc - can't wait to come back for more :)
Omg you guys make my heart grow every time I watch...you are such lovely people!!! It transmits through the screen. 💕💕💕 Thank you for all of the great podcasts. I am all caught up. Ray when you speak into the mic makes me laugh out loud every time!!! And I also want to knit the Cozy up cardi the simple hug!!
Y'all are just hilarious! I watch so many podcasts, but I gotta say... you two have quickly become my favorite! Thanks for another great time. I literally laugh out loud.
So funny you mentioned John's (STNS) "sure"... he says it when Scott is trying to remember/think/come up with something, and John's "sure" is blanket acceptance of whatever Scott came up with. When Kevin was trying to come up with Bad Wolf Girl Knits Podcast (not sure if that's a thing, but I think that's what he came up with), Ray just said "Good"... THAT was like John's "sure". Cracks me up every time!
Hi Kevin and Ray. New subscriber here from Australia. I really loved the podcast and think I need to go back and look at some of your other ones. Lots of fun. Thanks for sharing xx
I'm so happy I discovered your channel. Kevin and Ray, you are so much fun to watch! And you crack me up! I'm enjoying going back and watching older episodes. (BTW, so happy to learn about Naughty Knitting Sacs, I totally need to buy a couple for gifts). Greetings from southern California! ~ Kiara
Love it. Ray keep talking to that giant microphone, it's hilarious. Kevin, you're face when you looked inside the needle holder, the best. Thank you....
Well I've just found you guys and Love your podcast. Fun fun fun. Couldn't sleep so I thought I'd watch an episode well after all the laughing I had my husband awake also. Your just what we need. Light hearted and fun tkx again guys from pei Canada
Hey guys! Just a comment on the shower loofah/scrubby/whatever you want to call it. 😁 I crocheted some of those a couple years back. I crocheted them for a craft bazaar. Sold quite a few I gave some close friends a few to try. The comments I got back were they're very heavy when wet. They don't dry by the next morning. They were concerned about mold which none of them molded but they did not keep using them. lol. The good thing I thought was that they could be washed and dried. I personally did not use one to try it out. And I felt like they took a lot of cotton yarn to make. They were very fun to make The finished product was very cool! But there you have it just a little bit of info I thought I would give you guys on that project. I can't wait to see how yours turn out and what you think about them.
Thank you for this. This is actually a good thing to know. I do love that you can wash and dry them, the pattern looks pretty fun and easy so we may get one or two done at some point...haha. Anyway, thanks again for commenting and we appreciate you coming by to hang out with us for a bit 😊
You all are killing my TBR list. Every time you mention a new book I’m like ohhhhhh gotta check that out. Also the at risk youth comment 😍 so glad I’m watching this so much later probably would’ve bawled last year this time because of the pandemic stress!!
Hi guys, i'm still coming back to watch an earlier episode now and then to see what you've been upto. I love that deep blue hank, it is so gorgeous. And Ray, i bought my 1st 9" circulars a month ago and they are good as long as i dont mix colours, cos it takes too long lol, i'm going to try them with self striping yarn to see if i can knit up quicker. I am hoping to make a west knit brick jumper sometime next month, to wear at a yarn event in september. You guys have such fun on these podcasts, thank you.
I just absolutely love going back in time to watch these episodes! Soooo Much Fun!!!! Please don't ever change you format, it feels like hanging out with friends in the same room, and I just 💖 that!!! (only 3 more left and I'm TOTALLY caught up to Episode 36!!! Woo Hoo!!!!) You guys are just the best! 😎😀👌🤘🖖 #9inchCircularNeedles [hahahahah] 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Omg guys can i just say how i love spending my afternoon with you both?!! Love your chemistry, projects, stories, WIPS, FO's and antics. Today is canada day in Canada 🇨🇦, like your july 4th just our's is July 1st, nothing is happening this year and it's such a beautiful day but I cose to catch up with you both, have some tea all while working on some WIPS, what a perfect afternoon. Thanks for the wonderful company!
Ray, I am not a knitter, but a crocheter; however, you inspired me to try the No Fear Shorty Sock class. I just ordered the needles (not sure about guage) and yarn today!
Just found your podcast! Going to go back and start at the beginning, “a very good place to start.”😊 Love your back and forth bantering. You’re kind of like the male version of The Grocery Girls, which I too binge watched all episodes when I found them! I know you both watch other knitting podcasts and want to share a few of my favorites. Dunderknit, The Periscoping Sisters (they haven’t podcast in awhile), Cozy Up Knits (4 sisters from Canada). I love a podcast that makes me laugh out loud and these three always do, and now I have a fourth with your podcast. Just watching you show the fornicating skeletons!!! Dunderknit podcast always gives a warning at the beginning as she is a swearing friendly podcast! Keep up the fun and I’ll check out your KALs and Ravelry group.
Finally able to watch the episode. You make me laugh, and forget about the craziness we are experiencing with covid. Working in healthcare daily, it's refreshing to watch you both. Thank you so much and keep up having the long episodes, I can watch them over several evenings. Love your references to different indie dyers, and patterns.
Wow! You are so sweater ready, those shawls are awesome as is Brooklyn tweed. Look at the Norwegian purl, maybe that will work for you! Thank you for sharing.
Is it wrong of me to replay Ray talking close to the mic at least 3-4 times, each time he does it?!!! I actually snorted the first time, lol. The finished shawls are both equally gorgeous. The yarns were so beautiful you showed, too. There's so many talented yarn dyers out there and there's room for everyone in this community 😊 Tarquin's really rockin' his haircut! And you two guys are lookin' sharp, too. Bet you were relieved... Great podcast! Stay safe everyone! ♥️
I enjoy your podcasts very much. They are my yarn movies. (Because of the length) Your projects are gorgeous. I have a issue with my ends at times too. Hint: for your cotton projects, I learned to separate the strands and weave them in at different place. Very Pink had a podcast on it. Take care and stay safe.🐚
Hiya, lovely episode as always. I like sassy Ray, you did make me laugh and Kevin accidentally showing the rude inside fabric cracked me up! So glad you're enjoying The Name of The Wind, I adore those books. A recommendation for an audible credit could be The Wise Man's Fear, the narration on it was really good and it's such a good story to be immersed in! That's a shame you can't get the Stephen Fry audiobook of the Harry Potter books, he does such a fantastic job and his version of Tonks is hilarious! I didn't know you couldn't get it on audible in the states, never really thought of it. Thank you to you two for taking the time to talk to us and share what's going on with you. Thanks for the ASMR close up talking on the mic too Ray lol xx
Thank you for the suggestion of audio book! I looked it up and it sounds great 👍🏻 Haha those bags are so funny, they make us smile every time we open them lol 😂 Have a great day ❤️❤️
Kevin love your Boneyard - I'm assuming you used BT Arbor as it's DK - Arbor and Peerie are both Worsted yarns, yes with a high twist but the other BT yarns - Loft, Shelter and Quarry are all Woolen spun and are quite different from Arbor, very light and airy. They're all great though!
Kevin! That boneyard is so flattering on you. I love the colors!!!! I would not swap them up. Amazing result. AND you guys are so great to watch. Thank you!!! Funny. Insightful. Super cute relationship ❤️
OH and OMG NOMADIC YARNS!!!! I have a total addiction. Try her Tweed sock and Yak sock. AND I have like nine of her colors. Can't stop. Oh and she used to have a super cute knitting podcast also FYI although I haven't seen new ones. Love nine inch circs!!!!!
Rewatching all your podcasts from the beginning and this episode is a perfect example of why I absolutely love your channel. So real and funny. Stay you and don't change. P. S. A fortnight hat knit a long in the fall would be fun! ❤️❤️❤️
Ray, you're doing great for a new knitter! Love your projects guys! Kevin, did you add the purl bumps row in your barn yard shawl? Difficult to tell on the video. I love how it turned out!
Where do I start?! Another great episode. - I cast on the Boneyard along with you, but gave up on it. Like you, I found it boring with all the purling. Love your taste in yarn colors, planning to do the Pure Joy soon, and your reading choices are right up my alley. You two make me feel like I’m enjoying an afternoon hangout with friends and your episodes are never too long for me. Thank you for being you.
Good morning gentlemen and little friend, enjoy your day and have fun with yarn, l have made 9 sweaters and had fun making them all , but I crochet , your sweater is amazing and the color is fabulous ,very cool fo's ,I can hear you just fine , lol you both make my day and smile and laugh 🤗 lol , enjoy your day
Such an amazing podcast, you guys are so hilarious together, it made my day! Ray absolutely needs to drink 3 cups of coffee before every episode 😆 I love both your shawls so much that it has made me change my plans on for what pattern I'm going to choose for my first ever shawl! The yellow and lilac yarn is so beautiful I can't get over it 😍
I’ve used the grammas dishcloth into baby blankets it’s easy and great tv knitting. I also use dishcloths as something to do when my mojo is gone. Both of your boneyards are beau. Stay safe
Good to see you again. If you can get them, I can recomment desinfecting tissues or napkins, instead of carrying handsanitiser in liquid for. I have a pack in my pocket all the time. They don't leak, and besides cleaning my hands, I use them if I need to touch door handles, tables, chairs, when I'm not certain it's been well cleaned, or there's a lot of people around...
I have just found you guys and have started watching from episode 10 cos cant go back further...Kept wondering who Ray reminded me of and it just came to me ....Gilligan from Gilligan's Island.......hope you not offended 😁 Loving watching you two .you crack me up........Cheers from Down Under xox
As a first time listener, I have to say that you guys totally crack me up (is my age showing by using that term?) I am so glad that I was listening and Chevyrell mentioned your podcast on her podcast. You have quite a fun approach to Knitting, and I am very happy to see what you’ve been learning and what you’ve accomplished. By the way, the ice cream with chocolate vanilla and strawberry is Neapolitan, not Napoleon 😉. I’ll be back for seconds, thirds, and probably more. Thanks for doing what you do.
You two are a riot. Don't ever change. :) I hate purling long rows too, but I found that it's so much simpler and faster and more fun to purl using the Portuguese method. You can use a purling pin or toss the yarn around your neck, but I use a stationery clip that I attach to my collar or shirt strap, etc. It's super simple, super fast, and the tension control is more uniform to me. Watch a few videos on You Tube or watch Sweet Tea, No Shade. One of the couple knits Portuguese style so you can see how it's done. Good luck! It's a game changer. :)
Love your shawls, really really great!! I got loving Bones coffee from Meg as well, my favorites are Strawberry Cheesecake and Maple Bacon. Thanks you guys!!😄
You've got a real talent with that mic, Ray! I'd totally patreon you guys if you had an ASMR crafting series. How cool would that be?! You can even whisper an instructional video on how to pick up dropped stitches. ;)
Guys I want you to know that I enjoy this podcast very much. You make me laugh and sometimes cry. You keep it real and fun. I want you to know that you touch so many different people in so many ways. The dynamics together is great. I watch several different Yarn/Fiber related podcast and I would have to say this one is in the top 3 or 5 of them all. Ray keep up the close microphone segments up it hilarious just to see Kevin seem slightly embarrassed over it.
Hahaha 😂 my goal in life is to embarrass him from time to time! Lol thank you for your comments and for coming back time after time. We really appreciate it 😊
Hello from down the road in Wilton! It’s Lorien from @Knitting- _Posse and Ive been meaning to reach out. Totally agree with Kevin on hand sanitizer. Love when Ray uses his sexy voice up to the mic. Surely you go strawberry picking at Jones! Just went last week. Fun projects - love the Nomadic Socks and the Pure Joy! I was sweating watching you wear that Boneyard!
Hiya! How fun! We just caught your last episode last night! I love hearing from our “neighbors” 😁. We haven’t hit the strawberry fields yet this year. We are going to see if they are open on Friday 😉
You guys are so stinkin' cute! I LOVE audible and have added Orphan Black and Perry Mason to my watch list=) Every time you talk into the mic I think of SNL - NPR Delicious Dish 🤣
Hey Ray - I am actually knitting with the exact teal color knit pick dishie color you are showing. I am making the Wondrous Dish cloth my Sew Sweet Violet. I like this pattern because its knit in the round so its a double layered cloth. Your Steven West shawl looks really handsome on you.
You two are one of my happy places right now! I want my daughter to watch your podcast because you treat each other well - the models of a good couple. Unfortunately she doesn't knit... and says she doesn't want to knit. (WHAT!?!?!) Anyhow, thanks for bringing a smile to my face and heart.
The Name of the Wind is quite simply my favorite book of all time. Pat’s world building is beyond compare. It sounds as if you guys would both enjoy The Dresden Files by Jim Butcher if you’re looking for your next series, #17 is out in July. Thank you for what you bring to the knitting community.
Truly love watching your fortnightly podcasts. Here in the UK we don’t have access to the same yarns as you. I mainly crochet but do knit socks every now and again. It’s be lovely to see some of your crocheted work. Ray, you make laugh out loud on every episode. Don’t listen to Kevin you talk into that mic 🤣
Ray, I enjoy you sooooooo much!!! I love your humor and the fact you don't know who Kathy Ireland is!?! Thank you, I love your boneyard shawl! I love Kevin's too! Great job guys!!
You guys ALWAYS make me laugh!! And I've been wondering about bones coffee for ages, but I'm more a coffee flavored coffee person... Well, maybe caramel 😉 And it's neapolitan, not Napoleon!!! 🤣😂🤣😂 I'm with you Kevin, hate weaving in ends. I'm so frustrated with myself, I had made this gorgeous shrug cardigan (enchanted, on the expression fiber arts website, Chandi has some really delicious yarns too, she also has free pattern Friday) & was going to enter it, got it done, ends weaved in... Then mailed it to my BFF in Idaho....... without taking a picture. 🙄 OMG!!! The bag liners had me rolling!!!!
Lol 😂 Neither of us picked up on the Neapolitan part haha 😂 I’m a coffee coffee person myself but have to say I’m impressed! Thank you for your comments and for coming back to hang out with us ❤️😊
I think it's hilarious when Ray talks to the mic. LOL
Hahah It’s like right there in my face!!! 🤷♂️
Omg, every time Ray whispers into the microphone I laugh out loud. You guys are my favorite podcast!!
Omg.....same, bahahaha 🤣😂
Aww lol thanks so much 🥰
Me too...hilarious!!! :)
I love when Ray talks directly into the mic. And I literally spit out my water when he showed how big the mic is. 🤣
Haha 😆 but could you hear us?? 🤪
@@NeedlesattheReadyPodcast Not really😬
Just kidding.😉 That mic does the job😀
Oh my goodness! This was one of the best you guys have done. I laughed so hard with you both so many times, I lost count. Keep wanting to comment on something but then something else happened, again and again. Thanks for a wonderful Sunday morning, hope you both have a great fortnight!
Aww that means so much, thank you! We definitely had a blast recording it this week...haha and the coffee certainly didn’t hurt...LOL
When I weave in ends I make sure that i change directions after an inch or so. Making the change in direction really helps the ends stay put! At least, they do for me. Great Podcast, by the way!
Thanks Gene! I (Ray) change directions all the time when weaving in the ends. Kevin is VERY particular and I think this is good advice 😉
Between you guys and Sweet Tea No Shade, I'm cracking up all the time, you are so freakin funny together! Absolutely love you both. Your makes and projects are awesome, too. Have a great week! :)
Thanks so much Kim! Always great to hear from you. I love recognizing “our people” and feeling the love ❤️ Have a great week 🤗
🌹 Ray 😆 you enjoy yarn so much that makes me want to buy it all! 🥺 when you say “it’s so delicious” hehe
Right he really does, I always chuckle when he says it is delicious.
Oh no, I'm going to laugh my head off every time I see someone not covering their nose with their mask! Yes Ray, people are stupid.
hahah You’re welcome...lol once you see it, you can’t unsee it 🤣
I work in a hospital lab and one coworker always has his nose hanging out. Thanks for that image, Ray! Every. Time.
I've started watching you guys from the beginning since ive just found you and i'm loving how the books are slowly disappearing episode by epiosde and being replaced by lovely yarn. You guys are awesome so glad i've found you x
Thanks so much! They didn’t disappear, just got moved to another set of shelves 😉
Thank you. Your podcast makes the world a better place. Safe, relaxing and funny. Please just keep being who you are.
Aww Sandra, thank you so much 😊 That’s such a nice thing to say 🥰

Hi Lynn, thank you so much for watching and all the kind words.
I am SO late to this party, but I was literally crying as Ray is singing Men in Tights..... I thought my house was the only place that happened. 🤣
Haha 😂 I love this!!

This is great! Thanks for the link!
Thank you so much for this! Awesome resource 😊
Love my 9" circs! ChiaoGoo interchangeables! Yay!!!
I think there is a purchase of interchangeable needles in our future 🤔😎
I have so enjoyed your podcast - went back to watch from the beginning and was laughing out loud with this latest one. Thank you for being your authentic selves - you are a joy to spend time with!
Thank you so much, Susie!! It’s a joy for us too 🥰❤️
Love the laughter, love Ray's singing and all of the silliness mixed in. Great episode.
Thank you Liz!

Our pleasure! Glad you enjoyed it Julie.
Whip sound needs to be a permanent part of the show!!!!
You got it Ginger, whip sounds will be here to stay.
Hi Kevin and Ray. New subscriber here from Australia. I really loved the podcast and think I need to go back and look at some of your other ones. Lots of fun. Thanks for sharing xx
Hi and welcome Lesley! So glad you enjoyed it! It really means a lot to us to have you join our little community ❤️❤️
🌹 Kevin, Yes! Your Boneyard is so wonderful to look at 🤩 The gray border you chose is on point! 👍🏽
Yay, thank you!

Hi Kiara - Thank you so much for watching and commenting. You will totally love Naughty Knitting Sacs.
Love it. Ray keep talking to that giant microphone, it's hilarious. Kevin, you're face when you looked inside the needle holder, the best. Thank you....
Will do!
Yall cracked me up! Love it, not a finga. Especially thinking you're doing horrible yet it's freakin awesome. Thanks for brightening my day guys
Aww thanks for hanging out with us! Glad we could bring a smile to your face 😊❤️
you guys were so entertaining that I purled the ridge row on my Boneyard shawl....I had to tink back over 140 stitches...it was worth it!
Haha oops 😬 🥰
Well I've just found you guys and Love your podcast. Fun fun fun. Couldn't sleep so I thought I'd watch an episode well after all the laughing I had my husband awake also. Your just what we need. Light hearted and fun tkx again guys from pei Canada

Bloody love the Name of the Wind. Excellent story.
Yes Jason! I am absolutely loving it!

Aww thanks!! We feel the same way! It’s like sitting down to hang out with you all 😊
I am so glad Chevyrell mentioned your podcast. I love you guys!
Aww, thank you so much! So glad to have you here! 😊

Happy Canada Day!! We love spending our time with you as well 🤗
@@NeedlesattheReadyPodcast awe shucks
So happy to be allowed to witness part of your yarny journey. All the good feels to you both.
Right back atcha 🥰🤗
Ray, I am not a knitter, but a crocheter; however, you inspired me to try the No Fear Shorty Sock class. I just ordered the needles (not sure about guage) and yarn today!
That is awesome Michele. Keep us updated on how it is going.
Hi Sharon - Thank you so much for watching and the kind words. We did the same thing with the Grocery Girls, we also love Cozy Up Knits.
Thanks so much Renee! That means a lot. And thank you for your service and dedication to your patients and their families ❤️❤️
Great Episode! Love catching up with you guys! Have a great week!
Hi lady!! Thank you so much for watching, it was great seeing you again.
My favorite episode so far - you’re both cracking me up and I LOVE Ray talking directly in the mic!! Keep up the great work - so happy for you both ❤️
Thanks Justin! This was a fun one to do ❤️❤️
Love your podcast. I had a rough week and you both made it better by making me laugh. Love the banter and when Ray talks closely in the microphone
Aww thank you. So happy we brought a smile to your face ❤️
OMG I 💗 you guys! I had multiple gut busting laughs this episode where I had to put down my knitting. Please keep being you!
Aww thanks Rachel! We have such a great time doing this 😊
Wow! You are so sweater ready, those shawls are awesome as is Brooklyn tweed. Look at the Norwegian purl, maybe that will work for you! Thank you for sharing.
Hi Kathy! Thank you so much, and thank you for the suggestion.
I love naughty knitting sacks! Please tell me town cracks you up too! Couldn’t be more perfect. 😂
The bags are great!
Is it wrong of me to replay Ray talking close to the mic at least 3-4 times, each time he does it?!!! I actually snorted the first time, lol.
The finished shawls are both equally gorgeous. The yarns were so beautiful you showed, too. There's so many talented yarn dyers out there and there's room for everyone in this community 😊
Tarquin's really rockin' his haircut! And you two guys are lookin' sharp, too. Bet you were relieved...
Great podcast! Stay safe everyone! ♥️
Oh my goodness it was soooo great and such a relief to get the hair cuts..Hahahh. The damn mic is so big, I just couldn’t help myself...Hahahaha 🤪🥰
Thank you Susan! Great tip! We’ll check out Very Pink Knits about it...her tutorials are the BEST 🤗
Hi Jenny - Yes, I used BT Arbor.
Thanks so much!!
We love the Nomadic Yarns that we received, we see more purchases in the future.
Rewatching all your podcasts from the beginning and this episode is a perfect example of why I absolutely love your channel. So real and funny. Stay you and don't change. P. S. A fortnight hat knit a long in the fall would be fun! ❤️❤️❤️
Hi Julie - That is so awesome, we love hearing from viewers that are going back to watch old episodes.
Ray, you're doing great for a new knitter! Love your projects guys! Kevin, did you add the purl bumps row in your barn yard shawl? Difficult to tell on the video. I love how it turned out!
Thanks Ann 😌. Yes Kevin added the purl bumps...we’ll try to get a better picture 😊
You two! Thank you for recommending Amanda Knits! I love her colors and she's a really sweet and kind crafter. I ordered Avocado Spread and GI Jane!
I just finished a project in her Sunset Peacock colorway and picked up some Avocado Spread too!
Wonderful! Avocado Spread is on our list.
That's awesome!
You two are funny! Your boneyard shawls are awesome! Kevin, write the damn pattern.
Thank you Mary.
Hi Olivia - The Pure Joy is such a great knit, it practically knits itself. Can't wait to hear your opinion on it and see how it comes out.
🌹 Raaaaay!!! The Boneyard looks 🙌🏼amazing! What a fantastic project darling.
Thank you so much 😊 🤗
You two are so wonderful to watch. I can count on several laughs each video
Yay! Thank you!
Good morning gentlemen and little friend, enjoy your day and have fun with yarn, l have made 9 sweaters and had fun making them all , but I crochet , your sweater is amazing and the color is fabulous ,very cool fo's ,I can hear you just fine , lol you both make my day and smile and laugh 🤗 lol , enjoy your day
Thank you so much! Wow, 9 sweaters? Good for you! 😊
Such an amazing podcast, you guys are so hilarious together, it made my day! Ray absolutely needs to drink 3 cups of coffee before every episode 😆 I love both your shawls so much that it has made me change my plans on for what pattern I'm going to choose for my first ever shawl! The yellow and lilac yarn is so beautiful I can't get over it 😍
Oh my goodness that coffee situation was real! Lol 😂 Good luck on the shawl 🤗
those bags are hilarious! Thanks for sharing all your beautiful knit items. Make the damn pattern already! :)
Lol 😂 getting there 👌
You two are so much fun to watch ❤️. Definite look forward to your podcast.
Wow, thank you Mike!
I’ve used the grammas dishcloth into baby blankets it’s easy and great tv knitting. I also use dishcloths as something to do when my mojo is gone. Both of your boneyards are beau. Stay safe
Oh what a great idea to make it into a blanket! Thank you 😊
I love your fade-in style headlines. I havent seen those in any other podcasts. I only watch yarny ones anyhow.
Thanks Gloria...it’s the only “post production” w do lol 😂
Good to see you again. If you can get them, I can recomment desinfecting tissues or napkins, instead of carrying handsanitiser in liquid for. I have a pack in my pocket all the time. They don't leak, and besides cleaning my hands, I use them if I need to touch door handles, tables, chairs, when I'm not certain it's been well cleaned, or there's a lot of people around...
That’ a great idea actually...Thanks 😊
I just stumbled on to your podcast and I love it!! Thanks guys!!!
Aww thank you! Welcome aboard 🥰
Hi Kitty - Thank you so much for watching and commenting. Not offended at all :)
You guys are rocking those shawls!
😎😏🤣 lol thanks
🌹 Ray, the color you chose for your Flax is so beautiful 😍 The yarn looks so soft and lush
It really is. Soo soft and plush 🤗
My husband thinks I’m crazy. You two make me laugh out loud a lot! You are quickly becoming my new fav🎉🎉🎉🐶
Aww thank you so much! Tell your husband to grab some needles and join you 🤪
So glad I found you, laugh a minute and so lovely to catch up ☺️ perfect length enjoyed it all.
Thank you so much 😊
As a first time listener, I have to say that you guys totally crack me up (is my age showing by using that term?) I am so glad that I was listening and Chevyrell mentioned your podcast on her podcast.
Aww thank you so much! This comment really brought a smile to our faces 😊 After we ended, we realized about the ice cream lol 😂
As always, thanks for another great podcast! Right from the start, I said to myself (out loud lol) great hair cuts guys - looking very handsome!
Thank you Donna!
Love you guys! Excellent job on your shawls, they are both BEAUTIFUL! ~ Teeg
Thanks Teeg!! 😊
Another excellent episode! I love you guys so much and I have so much fun spending time with you guys!!!
Thanks Codi!! Always great to hang out 🥰
Another smile thankyou so much guys 😎🌍👍🇦🇺
Glad you enjoyed it
Hey guys! Both Boneyard Shawls look super fabulous.
Thanks Karen!! ❤️❤️
Hi Valorie! Thank you for the suggestion, we might have to check out this Portuguese purling.
Love your shawls, really really great!!
I got loving Bones coffee from Meg as well, my favorites are Strawberry Cheesecake and Maple Bacon.
Thanks you guys!!😄
Hi Nancy! The maple bacon would be a good one. We like the cinnamon bun and the mint chocolate chip.
You've got a real talent with that mic, Ray! I'd totally patreon you guys if you had an ASMR crafting series. How cool would that be?! You can even whisper an instructional video on how to pick up dropped stitches. ;)
Haha 😆 I’ll keep that in mind!! Lol
It’s Lorien from @Knitting-
_Posse and Ive been meaning to reach out.
Hi Chevy! OMG we can't wait to hear what you think about Orphan Black.
Hahaha thanks for the good time guys love the bags 😂❤️
Thank you Gwen.
You guys need to take a trip to Ewe and Ewe in Windsor and Marji's in Granby. Both great yarn shops, too!
I agree! We totally need to do our own version of a yarn crawl one day 😊
So glad I found your podcast!!! Yay!
Yay! Thank you!
Hey Ray - I am actually knitting with the exact teal color knit pick dishie color you are showing. I am making the Wondrous Dish cloth my Sew Sweet Violet. I like this
pattern because its knit in the round so its a double layered cloth.
Your Steven West shawl looks really handsome on you.
Oh what a great idea. I’m totally going to check out that pattern!! Thanks 😊
Kevin I love the bone yard colors. It looks very professional. Classic.
Thank you Ginger.
Oh my gosh Kevin!! That's my greatest fear too! I can just picture someone getting my gift and within a week it's unraveled!! 😂
Right?! It really is so scary.
Aww Jodi, thank you 😊 That brings a smile to OUR faces 🥰
The Name of the Wind is quite simply my favorite book of all time. Pat’s world building is beyond compare. It sounds as if you guys would both enjoy The Dresden Files by Jim Butcher if you’re looking for your next series, #17 is out in July.
Thank you for what you bring to the knitting community.
The TV series was better than I had hoped. But its old now. Still rewatch from time to time.
I had no idea there was a TV series!
Ooh sounds great! I might check that out...thanks!
LOL Lisa, I think the talking in the mic will continue.
Ray, I enjoy you sooooooo much!!! I love your humor and the fact you don't know who Kathy Ireland is!?! Thank you, I love your boneyard shawl! I love Kevin's too! Great job guys!!
Thanks Gena! We’re so glad you are enjoying it ❤️
What was that dammit!!…haha that was my colors love it! You guys love ya
Lol 😂 thanks Dawn
You guys ALWAYS make me laugh!!
And I've been wondering about bones coffee for ages, but I'm more a coffee flavored coffee person...
Well, maybe caramel 😉
And it's neapolitan, not Napoleon!!!
🤣😂🤣😂
I'm with you Kevin, hate weaving in ends.
OMG!!!
The bag liners had me rolling!!!!
Lol 😂 Neither of us picked up on the Neapolitan part haha 😂 I’m a coffee coffee person myself but have to say I’m impressed! Thank you for your comments and for coming back to hang out with us ❤️😊
LOVE your show! Thanks for being down-to-earth! Keep it up!
Always! Thank you for watching.
