    1. Oversized Sweaters ( garments in general)
    2. Not wearing a watch (get that collection up!)
    3. Wearing the wrong scent (keep your work scents for work, but it’s fall!)
    4. Dad jeans (unnecessary bulk)
    5. Overly trendy footwear/sneakers
    6. Overuse of pleated trousers
    7. Incorrect layering of clothing/garments
    8. Wearing dark colors all the time (mix it up!)
    9. Avoid wearing bulky jackets/coats (tailored, well fitted jackets/coats)
Whew, that was a lot. You’re welcome. Salute!

Most of my clients had a number of females on staff, and I found out through the grapevine that the women who didn`t know my name usually referred to me as "the guy with the nice shoes". They actually DO make an important statement about you.

One true fact most O.G.'s can relate to was we all had to change are game along the way... those who can't or simply refuse to change their gear typically will look unsatisfactory, and that could affect a person in many ways depending on how their wired mindset wise and or their personality... it's just the truth... stay flex, fellas! 😉

It's ok, but you should never, ever, wear this kind of jackets or coats combined with a t-shirt. Get a button down (or polo) shirt with a proper collar! If not for looks, do it for a practical reason: this coat looks like it requires professional cleaning, or at least a very elaborate process if you wash and iron it at home. I'm sure you are familiar with those sweat and oil marks on a collar? Those have to be on your easy to clean shirt and not on your jacket. Never have a coat or jacket collar touch your bare neck!

Fit is the most important part of selecting garments. My main issue with pleated pants is often guys are wearing incorrect sizes. Having too small of a waistband will make the pleated trousers look like a broken accordion. Often men will think his pleated pants fit when the pants are too small.

All good tips, thank you, I am 80+. Suggestion, 5:50 "over utilization" oops it should be "...overuse..." Recall, when something is utilized, it is being used for other than what it was intended for. Think a chair, we use it to sit upon, however we can utilize it as a step stool. Thus, as you can see, your use of "over utilization" is a non-sequitur. Cordially.

Age is just a number. Everyone should wear what they like and what they feel comfortable in. Regardless of whether others like it or not. If someone doesn't like the way I dress, they don't have to look at me. No one should let others tell them what to wear.

Because I am 5'9 I've been searching for a mid length overcoat since early last month and only until this week have the right ones been available. The $45-$60 overcoats are imo- a huge mistake that screams 'I'm broke" They are polyester or rayon when they should be at least 50% wool for the right look. Those cheap coats should be avoided bcuz they wont keep you warm and wont give the stylish look...a lose-lose and waste of money. I realize I can catch a good one on sale for $150 and can buy one each month until I have all the colors I want.

Cool weather fragrances should be subtle musks, sandalwoods or smoky scents. Warm weather calls for citrus, peppery, or sweet based scents.
Pleated pants should always be wide on top, tapered at the ankles, not straight leg or regular fit.

What I see often with my fellow seniors is that when they buy pants off the rack, they don't pay attention to the length. A lot of men have a pile of cloth bunched on top of their shoes. I wear 33 length and most pants are 32 or 34. I buy 34 length and have the hem taken up.

As a man who grew up in the 70s and 80s, I will forever be an Adidas Originals tragic. Luckily for me, they are the coolest trainers around right now, which for once makes me cooler than I actually am, at least in the eyes of step kids. Older guys can always wear a pair of Gazelles/Sambas/Spezials etc and even though those trainers are very trendy-at least they are now in 2024-they're also timeless
