I've been shaving my head since 1983. I'm 64 now and still shaving it, so I really don't even need to worry about any grey showing. I started walking 3 miles per day and weight training, and also do 1 meal a day and that one meal is all about nutrition. Made me feel real good. It's never too late to get your life in order.

Shaving on a regular basis. Even if you decide to wear a beard, keep it trimmed and neat. Not too scruffy. Even if you're retired proper grooming goes a long way. This includes your mustache. It's OK to have grey hair as long as you don't appear like you've been a bear returning from hibernation. Everything else you've mentioned are excellent tips too.
My Dad taught me how to dress when I was in grade school. He would take me to buy my clothes, and showed my how they should fit on me. He also showed me how to size my shoes with my finger tips. If my toe was too close to the end of the show, he told me to get another size! When I was in grade school he bought me some cologne called THE BOOT. It came in a boot and was the baddest cologne I ever wore. It smelled so good the girls flocked all over me! To this day I have over 10 fragrances I wear. I don't like to wear the same fragrance every day! I'm retired and I still stay fresh bcuz it's my nature, which I learned from my Dad, who was an excellent dresser, provider, and worker. Him & my Mom were married over 60 years until they transitioned to the Spiritual Realm. My Son is a duplicate of me! You know what's up!
Great video, liked and subscribed. I'm 55 but am told often I appear 45 or younger. Two more tips: One tip you didn't mention (unless I missed it) is to be completely clean shaven. Beards make men look older, which is great when we're younger, I suppose but if you want to appear younger, be completely clean shaven. I shave daily in the AM with a blade followed by an electric razor every morning, followed by face lotion and vitamin C serum and it adds to me not looking 55. The second tip is bags, dark circles under our eyes. As we age they get bigger and darker. My wife bought me this stuff than works great. I put it under my eyes and within 10 minutes my bags and dark circles are gone. So combine the two and you'll look at least 5 years younger I promise. Hope this helps!

With all the great tips, I'd like to add: bathe daily. That "old man smell" is a real thing and can be controlled with morning and evening bathing routines.
Cosign, good, proper hygiene is more important than anything. Nobody wants to be around someone with bad hygiene, regardless of how good looking you maybe, how much money you have or how nice you dress, no one wants to smell you.🤦🏾
I try my best to do the above things to age well, a couple of things you may have left out, … nose hair…. Ear hair…. And something which I like to do is the use of eye drops to whiten the eyes, one drop in each eye every morning, sometimes apply later in the day if your eyes become tired .. great video mate thanks for your tips 👍👌
Most men put on too much cologne! All you have to do is pray your wrist, back of your ears, top of your hands, and that's all you need to do. But, make sure it is some good 'smell good', not the cheap stuff!
In my opinion, two sprays of aftershave (as OG says) is already too much. I either go with nothing, or dab a tiny bit at the base of the neck. I don't want people to notice any smell unless they are getting up close to me.
Love the pointers , thank you … wanted to mention a little bit of exercise, or stretching because how we move and where we’re strong can show age as well I have neglected 2 things you mentioned and I’m going to be on it , thank you again 🤜🤛
Gentlemen over the age of 40, take heed. These are rock solid health tips. Share them with each other and turn future O.Gs on to Jeff and other similar sites, because it is obvious that this information is not being passed on "from father to son" so to speak as often as it used to be. ✌️, ❤&✊🏾!
BAM! That's the problem with our young brothers; most of them have no fathers in the home to teach them the rite way! The majority, if not all of the young brothers I see are always in blue jeans, sneakers, a baseball cap, and an oversized t-shirt, THINKING they're clean. No dress pants at ALL! These mothers, who talk down on their fathers, who are not there are also at fault. They claim, they don't want a man, but they wonder why their sons are growing up; in and out of prison, beating on their women, or ending up with make-up and lipstick on their faces! I'm keeping it a 1000.
Now that was a great video! Informative and very humorous! Thank you. I'm going golfing today and I will make sure to put on my sun screen! Thank you for the wake up call.
Great information and well thought out videos. It would be more helpful if you added numbers to the video of listed items to increase awareness/importance.
This is a great Video. This brings back painful memories which i have been enduring. My relationship of 5 years ended 3 months ago. The love of my life decided to leave me, I really love her so much I can’t stop thinking about her, I’ve tried my very best to get her back in my life, but to no avail, I’m frustrated, I don’t see my life with anyone else. I’ve done my best to get rid of the thoughts of her, but I can’t, I don’t know why I’m saying this here, I really miss her and just can’t stop thinking about her.
I am sorry about what you have been through. I have been through something similar and was almost depressed, till I contacted a spiritual counselor who helped me get my ex back and hence my life back

🫡SAAAAALUTE!!! This video should be the template for ALL men in their Fabulous 40s 50s and 60s who want to put a choke hold on Father Time by looking vibrant and full of vigor. Following these great tips will certainly allow mature, "seasoned" men to feel great about themselves no matter how many Birthdays they are blessed to continue to celebrate. Love the skin care tips the most because with our skin being the greatest organ of our bodies, when we neglect or abuse it, the years of abuse will definitely start to show. Great video here!👏👏👏👏
I tried telling this to my office mate who has a stomach as big as a boulder. he just brushed me off as if its nothing. Last week he got the surprise of his life when his wife went on vacation without him.
Nice review, skin appearance is also directly related to what you eat. Something I stumbled on when adopting a strict carnivore lifestyle in Feb 2024 is blemishes, age spots, dryness and dandruff and a few other old guy attributes actually went away. Not only that but the ability to withstand long exposure to sun without burning. Spent hours in the sun with no sunscreen and never burned. I would point out whatever you put on your skin will be in your blood in 20 minutes. Cosmetic grade tallow applied 3-4x a week really got rid of dryness to where now I just put it on twice a week. Lots of positives and too many benefits to list here. Throwing it out there since I had a profound change in a short while.
Bro I appreciate your sense of style so much I've been out of the loop but now that I'm back in I shall be checking you out on a regular basis you give great tips have a blessed day bro
I'm 79 but I make sure I project a young image by always carrying a skateboard, wearing a baseball cap backwards, letting my pants droop downward to show my underwear, walking with a swagger, and calling everyone 'Dude' or 'Bro'. I think I look GREAT, but don't take MY word for it - the nurses in my care home say so too! Or at least I THINK that's what they're saying - I mostly have to lip-read...
That guy was Bernard Ingham, press secretary to Margaret Thatcher during her tenure. Most people of that generation didn’t take notice of their appearance.

Solid advice. There is data showing a possible connection between the bacteria created from dental caries and dementia. A great reason to keep your teeth clean...
I've had the same buzz cut for 25 years and chin strap/goatee (full connecting beard doesn't work for me). People say I look like I'm in my 20's. Not sure if they are just saying that. I'm 38!
I turned 37 last month. I've had a buzz cut since the age of 14 (2001) and started growing my beard at the age of 22 ('09). I started sprouting grey at 18; it started to get out of hand when I turned 30 spreading to my beard. I never liked the way I looked without facial hair. I've been told I look young for my age, people would say I look 8-10 years younger than I actually am. The other day I was talking to a female co-worker who is 9 years older than I am and she thought I was her age because of my grey beard. It really humbled me lol. I'm now seriously thinking of getting rid of it. I knew this day would eventually come but damn it's become part of my identity the past 15 years.
I use Clinique for Men anti aging serum & moisturiser (it is a bit pricey but the quality is superb, you get the best), another brand that is very good and drugstore affordable is Cerave, they have an AM lotion with sunscreen and the no-nonsense anti aging retinol serum for the evening,
All great advice. I would like to add 1) Work out! Pumping iron gives you a younger physique. 2) Trim ear hair. 3) Accessorize with youthful sunglasses. Oakley shades for example, are much better than OG black horn rimmed glasses, etc.
Spot on commentary. Very thorough. Old G's please use a hair/blow dryer to use after a shower. Hitting that entire groin area and between the those toes with that heat. Too many of you cats running around town scratchin n' diggin. Respectfully.
The most important thing you left out is not worrying about how others think of you. This should come with age. Equally important is being fit and eating well. That's all you need. The rest is insecurity.
You can be well groomed, in shape, and fashionable, or unkempt, out of shape, and old fashioned. The important thing is that you're comfortable in your own skin.
Who wants to be old, unkept, out of style, and not well groomed? I don't feel rite, unless I'm clean on the inside, as well as, on the outside! A REAL LADY wants a man, that takes care of himself, and there's a difference between a lady, a woman, and a fe-male. A lady has class & style, a woman is bold & loud, and you already know, what a fe-male dog is called! I PREFER A LADY!
I always thought pedicures were for “soft” men…. Until my wife got me a manicure and pedicure for my 37th birthday….. It felt like I missed an important pleasure and reward towards myself!!! I don’t know WHY OR HOW I LET A FOOLISH ASSUMPTION cause me to deny myself a truly amazing treatment for so many years. Now I get facials, manicures and pedicures at least once a month!!! You couldn’t see stress on me if I told you!!! Treat yourself Kings!!! You definitely deserve it!!
Never let society dictate to you; how you should keep and take care of yourself. If, I see a woman with dirty nails & feet, I don't talk to her bcuz her house is probably the same way she looks. Therefore, if a woman sees a man with dirty toe & fingernails not done; she will think the same way of you. Hygiene has nothing to do whether you're a man or a woman! Glad you woke up, my brother! I don't get facials bcuz I use witch hazel (no alcohol), lotion with herb & vitmin D in it, and I use real African soap on my face & body. I'm in my 70's and I look half of my age with no wrinkles! I exercise (at home), read, research & rite to keep my mind tight! I know it's spelled w-rite, but I had to throw in the 3 r's.
I'm 47 amd still have mostly black hair on my head, so I add in dye sparingly. But my beard is a full white, so I add "Touch of Gray" to my beard and "Just for Men Real Black," to my mustache. It makes it look natural
My cousin is a barber and he's been at for over 50 years! He told me to never put those dyes on my beard or hair bcuz it sinks thru your skin and could cause skin or brain damage! Those dyes have chemicals in them that will mess up your natural skin and hair follicles. I stay natural, and all you have to do is keep your beard at a low level and lined up, and it will look great without the chemicals.
@@NubianKing-y3y I use the no-ammonia ones for my hair, they are not permanent and give you a natural look without the harmful effects of ammonia and other ingredients, i use Natural Instinct by Clairol (yes, it is a lady brand but who cares, there are no brands like that for men)
We do have to take better care of our hands and feet. I think as a man, we have to stop saying that is a feminine trait. Men hands should not be rough and dirty. Grooming is essential to looking good.

And something which I like to do is the use of eye drops to whiten the eyes, one drop in each eye every morning, sometimes apply later in the day if your eyes become tired .. great video mate thanks for your tips 👍👌
Thank you for sharing !🦾
Try Aqua Velva Aftershave.
Always educating OG, appreciate you!
Nice work. Hair growth in on or around the ear is a huge change.
You're absolutely right
I knew a guy once that I thought had 3 shower faucets. Hot, Cold and Cologne
Hilarious!
HAHAHAHAHAHAHA
Epic!!😂
Most men put on too much cologne! All you have to do is pray your wrist, back of your ears, top of your hands, and that's all you need to do. But, make sure it is some good 'smell good', not the cheap stuff!
In my opinion, two sprays of aftershave (as OG says) is already too much. I either go with nothing, or dab a tiny bit at the base of the neck. I don't want people to notice any smell unless they are getting up close to me.
Thanks for this excellent advice my friend, I totally appreciate it!
You are right on point, keep up the great videos. 👍
Great video! The little things contribute to an attractive appearance.
When I was a kid guys attempted to act and look older, now older guys wanna look and act young
But don’t take it out of context, ain’t nobody 15 trying to look & act 55 or 65, just like men 55 to 65 don’t try to look & act 15 years old….
@@frank-xp6pj Of course not, but at 15, we were definitely trying to imitate the guys in their 20s and 30s, not the other way around.
27 is the optimum age, I was doing well then, now at 42 I only attract obese single mums.
Love the pointers , thank you … wanted to mention a little bit of exercise, or stretching because how we move and where we’re strong can show age as well
I have neglected 2 things you mentioned and I’m going to be on it , thank you again 🤜🤛
Gentlemen over the age of 40, take heed. These are rock solid health tips. Share them with each other and turn future O.Gs on to Jeff and other similar sites, because it is obvious that this information is not being passed on "from father to son" so to speak as often as it used to be. ✌️, ❤&✊🏾!
Man these kids dont want to be fly they want to look bummy.
Great info video and I enjoyed it and have a blessed day
Thanks Michael!
You welcome keep up the good work GOD BLESS 🙏
I have been through something similar and was almost depressed, till I contacted a spiritual counselor who helped me get my ex back and hence my life back
Interesting. Who is this counsellor, and how do I meet the person?
Online, you'll find shelly renee white, revered for her expertise as a spiritual counsellor. She has the ability to reunite couples and promote holistic well-being.
Thanks a lot. I just did. Impressive.
Scammers here too? Get a life
Wife and I get pedi’s together, I do my own fingernails, I do a scrub on my feet once a week, moisturize and powder(at work, mostly). Eyebrows on point. Find these videos super helpful.
Great video! How I appreciate your practical, masculine, and attractive approach to benefitting the whole man spiritually, emotionally, physically socially, and economically.
I appreciate that!
Great video here!👏👏👏👏
Salute!
Thank for what you do! I love that shirt. Where can I comp
That
Great tips. I would add ear and noise trimming
Yup!
Stay in shape!! Nothing is more sexier than an older man with a nice fit body 😍.
I tried telling this to my office mate who has a stomach as big as a boulder. he just brushed me off as if its nothing. Last week he got the surprise of his life when his wife went on vacation without him.
I see that with a lot of guys from HS… 30-40 lbs overweight and dress like that did when we were teenagers.
@@MrRepsMrRepsIn shape, outa shape, rich or poor, good looking or ugly. They all cheat at some point
Amen, I couldn’t agree more with you.
I keep my body fit! And, I have noticed younger ladies always compliment me, more than these older broads! I LOVE IT!
Great information jeff thank you
You are very welcome
Very informative and good video 👍
OG rocking the wedding band congrats!!!
Thanks!
I noticed that also…congrats!
Some very good advice
OG!!! Great tips
Thanks!
Excellent job ❤.
Appreciate your content my guy
Thanks!
Bro I appreciate your sense of style so much I've been out of the loop but now that I'm back in I shall be checking you out on a regular basis you give great tips have a blessed day bro
My style? I don’t care that I look old. I don’t use hair/beard dye. I don’t adjust my hair style to cover bald spots. Don’t give a shit.
El hombre...👍🏼💪🏼
Wisdom
I hope otherwise that you are looking after yourself by eating well, and being active.
But here you are on this video, commenting. I'm not so sure...
I do care about my look precisely because I'm past 70
great video!
😂
LOL !
yeah groovy! 😅😅
Cool video. Thank you Jeff
Them overgrown eyebrows pic was funny as hell!!! LMAO!
Reminded me of Hogwartz.
I had an uncle that was like that in his 80's. Like two Pursian cats glued to his forehead. LOL
There are many people with these eyebrows 😂
That guy was Bernard Ingham, press secretary to Margaret Thatcher during her tenure. Most people of that generation didn’t take notice of their appearance.
YOOOOOO back up off that DRAKKAR 😅...... why you making Drakkar sound like the new Brut 😂😅😂😅😂😅 mehn I loved me some Drakkar back in high school , damn 40nhears ago.
That's a hoot!
Jeff , can you please let me know where you got the shirt and the style. You are a really good dresser
FACTS OG! 🫡. I’d like to add hydration. I know some fellow OG’s that will down brown liquor and not touch water all day. Not enough water alone will age you significantly.
Respect my brother. I appreciate you.
Respect!
great advice. thanks
You're welcome!
O.G style bringing back the G.Q 💯💯💯 definitely helpful information.
💯
Good video bro❤❤❤
Working out also helps
Solid advice. There is data showing a possible connection between the bacteria created from dental caries and dementia. A great reason to keep your teeth clean...
That's a great point!
There’s a whole lot of men out there needs to watch this especially ministers
Why the preachers????😂
Ministers are naturally grimy.
Im 48 and still.rock the 360's. SPINNING never gets old! 💯
I’m 71, great tips!
Thanks!
Great job, keeping facial hair trimmed is important also. Thanks for all your advice
Absolutely!
I've had the same buzz cut for 25 years and chin strap/goatee (full connecting beard doesn't work for me). People say I look like I'm in my 20's. Not sure if they are just saying that. I'm 38!
Hair cut and less facial hair does you wonders brother. I look younger as soon as I cut my hair and trim/shave facial hair.
So you grew a goatee at 13 years of age
38 is young
Love that Rugby that you have on O.G. ... What's the brand name?
Banana Republic
O.G Salute from Ethiopia 🇪🇹

What do you suggest for facial moisturizing?
I use Clinique for Men anti aging serum & moisturiser (it is a bit pricey but the quality is superb, you get the best), another brand that is very good and drugstore affordable is Cerave, they have an AM lotion with sunscreen and the no-nonsense anti aging retinol serum for the evening,
Not Rudy! 😅😂🤣. Good points.
Ha!
Maybe you should use lotion instead?🤔
Also food. Eat walnuts, Blackberries, Oily fish. Take vitamin E. And ditch sugar, sodas, white bread. Processed foods
The most important thing you left out is not worrying about how others think of you.
This should come with age.
Equally important is being fit and eating well.
That's all you need. The rest is insecurity.
You cooking right now .. Nice video. I agree with every point. Thanks again, Jeff. 🫡
Salute!
Also make sure hair in ears and nose is maintained well.
yes!
Great videos as always! We have to embrace the grey fox and not use dyes especially on our beards. Women love it!
Thanks!
Great video as always. Appreciate you OG
Appreciate you!
Man!!!!
Nah Gay, Gay, Gay
It's for gay Men
@@NubianKing-y3y Other Men isn't society, it's gay
@@NubianKing-y3y I use the no-ammonia ones for my hair, they are not permanent and give you a natural look without the harmful effects of ammonia and other ingredients, i use Natural Instinct by Clairol (yes, it is a lady brand but who cares, there are no brands like that for men)
Great stuff. We need to look younger not older😅😅
Thanks!
Good stuff!!! Yes, daily bathing a must! CHANGE THOSE DRAWERS!!!!!!
At 3:51 the original on the left looks way better than the trimmed version
What do you guys use to dye your hair leaving some grey ?
We do have to take better care of our hands and feet. I think as a man, we have to stop saying that is a feminine trait. Men hands should not be rough and dirty. Grooming is essential to looking good.
Agreed!
Thanks OG that's what I needed to hear.
No problem!
Nose and ear hair trimming
Agreed!
Peace and blessing brother nice video I'm a subscriber from NYC 😎👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾🙏🏿💯
Peace!
Great tips because I’m a year away from 50. Trying my best not to have crusty lips 🤣. Salute
Ha!
Cerave Healing Ointment
Thank OG for you tips I’m 68 and we need old that ,to look better, also (trim hair from the nose )👍👍🙏
