I started dieting 3 months ago. I weighed 225 I now weigh 205. No donuts, ice cream, fast food. Absolutely was tough, but the results I’ve seen at the gym, make it all worthwhile. I feel great.
I was at 215. Went to 193 in 1 month. Stopped eating sugar, fast food, no soda. Ate one meal a day. Steak with avocado or salmon with avocado. Drunk water, lemon water, coconut water. Currently 198, gained 4lbs because I've gone back to eating fast food.
Wear what fits your personality... Wear what you're comfortable in/with... Fashion has no limits... What looks good on someone may not look good on you & vice versa... Personality trumps everything...
You’re right and I used to love graphic tees, but I did have to realize even though I can pull them off no problem, they do seem a little immature for My age.

I did find myself having an over abundance of graphic tees but nope so still keep a few around especially some of the retro hip hop or music bands or groups

I normally purchase new underwear twice a year every six months. I do wear sneakers. However, i have two pairs, one for the gym and another for casual wear(Cole Hann). Graphic T Shirts are mainly for the gym , i normally wear a polo shirt when I go for a quick run to the store. I go through my closet once a year to get rid of shirts and dress slacks that no longer fit. The style OG is correct about this will definitely free up some closet space and keep your wardrobe fresh and looking up to date.

All those suits that Steve Harvey wears sometimes is country especially suits with double pockets on the left especially those crush velvets ones and those patten leather shoes from my prom days on 1974
Slight disagreement on a 3 button suit sometimes they look good with only the middle button closed. But the only ones I'd wear is from suitsupply (washington) just because it has that tom ford look
One thing that saved my shirts is under arm protector on the undershirt and collar protectors for my dress shirts. Much easier to keep clean and last longer

When I got out on my own a few years ago, I began the regular process of getting rid of clothes and shoes I just won't wear. It feels good to have less but better (for me) clothes. Doing this seasonally, as you suggest, is a great way to go.

Yes! distress jeans. The problem OG, some companies will not stop selling distress jeans. I be like WTF? do you have any plain jeans? We are now back into the baggy jean era. I hate it now. Back in the 90’s early 2K it worked. Looking at it today that whole look is wack.

Agree with everything except the watch part. Depending on the stature of the man, a larger watch dial still goes well. You can't be 5'4 125 lbs with a 52mm watch on. You'd look ridiculous.
Just wanted to say thank you so much for your channel. So many men need to learn how to dress and I really truly wish more younger guys would follow suit. I agree with you wholeheartedly on absolutely all of your opinions concerning dressing well. Two things are the death of aging men. Number one is men who still dress as though they were still in their heyday when they were younger. Number 2 are man who have aged and try to dress like the youngsters of the day. Like you plainly said keep your outfits timeless and more importantly keep them age appropriate.
I agree with the solid color tees. They not only look good but are great for layering with a dress shirt. I prefer V necks because the neck doesn't stretch out and loosen over time. Or at least it takes longer. My go to is by Tommy Hilfiger. Guys ahould stop wearing running shoes with jeans that are too long. It looks really sloppy. Switch to a hybrid shoe like the ones made by Johnston and Murphy. They're comfortable and versatile. Dress them up or down and they still look great.
I wear Jordans because women who are 25 years younger than me feel comfortable approaching me when I have something on they can relate to. I don't care what women my age like to see on men

@@runthomas lean meats (grilled chicken, salmon, fish) and heavy on fruits/veggies. It’s not gonna be easy but, trust me, you’ll definitely feel the difference. Take your vitamins as well! I’ll even throw in the occasional ginger tea for gut cleansing, and ONE cheat day, so that you’re not robbing your body of natural sugars.

We don't wear shoes inside the house so Ive got several pair of 'old' thick sports socks that I only wear in/around the house... no holes, smells, etc (just some pilling). Also, I am now retired and have ~10 custom-tailored, bespoke, classic suits (for work & social occasions) that were fairly pricey and still fit well, and I don't really need them, but can't see throwing them away or just 'donating' them --- so what should I do with these suits? (Several are monogrammed on inside pocket.)

I keep a few of those stretched out shirts, and faded jeans, for minor house repair work, and for working on my lawns.
For brothas that worry about weight loss, drink water STRICTLY for one month. I’m talking cut every liquid out except water. You’ll thank me later - and your body will thank you as well.

@@runthomas lean meats (grilled chicken, salmon, fish) and heavy on fruits/veggies. It’s not gonna be easy but, trust me, you’ll definitely feel the difference. Take your vitamins as well! I’ll even throw in the occasional ginger tea for gut cleansing, and ONE cheat day, so that you’re not robbing your body of natural sugars.

You can also add some nuts, like pistachios, cashews, etc. Vitamins are a must, and ONE cheat day, as to not completely rob your body of natural sugars. For gut health, add cucumbers and lemons to your water.

We don't wear shoes inside the house so Ive got several pair of 'old' thick sports socks that I only wear in/around the house... no holes, smells, etc (just some pilling). Also, I am now retired and have ~10 custom-tailored, bespoke, classic suits (for work & social occasions) that were fairly pricey and still fit well, and I don't really need them, but can't see throwing them away or just 'donating' them --- so what should I do with these suits? (Several are monogrammed on inside pocket.)
