Big facts!!

That Lacoste cardigan is fire!
Excellent info! Love your content
I appreciate that!
one thing i nvr brought into was the skintone stuff...i wear bright and dark colors whenever i feel like it
A sticky top on your sock doesn't help for those of us with thick calves. I can't find socks that I can pull up more than a few inches. Good advice on everything else though.
Merino wool socks are the finest quality, although they are not inexpensive. However, they are the most effective in maintaining foot health. Since I started wearing them, athlete's foot has ceased to be a problem for me.
Great video my dude. You can rock sneakers for sure. I’m a middle aged PE teacher. That also affords me the avenue to wear sneakers. There’s a time and place for everything…
Right on!
@@TheStyleOG Go Sixers!

Thanks again Jeff.. Awesome tips . You got me with the socks... Great video. Salute 🫡

So Invicta watches are suspect ?
I like your information and always enjoy your content just between us im looking for that sweater. Salute to you
Awesome! Thank you!
O.G you should start wearing shirts with the correct hem size. Just as a tip 😊
3-button suits outdated and not classic!? You have to be kidding...
They have been a staple in the men's wardrobe since at least the 1910s, and they work very well to make you look a bit taller, while keep making the broad chest ilusion, plus they are a bit warmer in the winter.
I actually barely own any 2-button suits because I think that very low buttoning point creates an unbalanced silhouette, though.
3-button suits are nothing like 4- and 5-button suits, which have never been timeless classics and are not very flattering.
Damn, that I'm going to lose weight and get into those clothes hit me hard. I got some dress pants I've had for 7 years. Thanks for the wake up call😅
I feel you!
Style OG, where do you get your plain T’s from? (I.e. solid navy, solid gray, exc) thanks in advance
The Gap, Banana Republic, Lands End, & Amazon have good solid color tees.
Definitely gotta continually upgrade underwear socks and tank tops
Can’t go to a lady house with flimsy under garments
Respect Style OG
Respect!
Highly recommend straight up socks!
Happy to hear that!
Always enjoy the content, but you had me laughing so hard about the underwear and the watch. If a man is wearing underwear with holes in them, and is looking like Flavor Flav by the wrist, that man needs help. 😂 This topic was awesome to cover, as many of us men take good care of our stuff, but hate to part ways with it when it's not clear that we need to do so. Peace.
This man could've been a smooth pimp. Instead he chose to use his swag to help us, his fellow man 😂
What brand basic tee are you into? I have a hard time finding a brand to fit the way I want them to. I'm very particular, but a lot of brands are too long, too narrow, too boxy, or too tight. I'm 5-10 195ish, with a muscular, athletic frame.
The Gap, Banana Republic, Lands End, J Crew, & Amazon are a few places that have good solid color tees.
Im particular about my tees too and I’m the same size, I like “Into the Am” brand for my tees and there is also a good brand that is sold at Walmart that fit really well. I can’t recall the name but the logo is a raccoon cartoon. They’re not cheap but are really nice. I like my tees to fit around the arms without being tight around the torso. Buy XL fitted tees and you should be good. 👍🏾
@@jayrobinson4591 , I agree about the arm fit.👍🏿 If a tee does not fit snugly around the arm, it can somewhat make for a sloppy look, IMHO!
Another excellent video sir. Very informative especially about the socks and underwear. Can you do a video about outdated accessories? I want to make sure that I am not looking silly. Thanks and salute.
Great suggestion!
If your weight fluctuates 10 lbs in either direction, you better have a hell of a yearly clothing budget!
Lemme get that 39 jacket, l can fit it
I’m not the only one who had an image of Steve Harvey in my head when he said get rid of the dated, loose suits button 😂😂😂🎯💯🥅⛳️🫴🏾

@@BoyTheBlacktrue. That’s the best part of being an adult.
You’re right and I used to love graphic tees, but I did have to realize even though I can pull them off no problem, they do seem a little immature for My age.
@@WeAreAllThings It depends on the content it's saying on the shirt, I'm 52, however I look like I'm in my late 30's. It mainly goes with your body type too, I'm athletic built so I pull them off with no problem... Dress for the occasion 🤷🏾♂️
the right outfit for the right job. op advice is pretty solid.
Wearing sneakers is timeless... Just have to know when and where its appropriate
With suits it’s a no no. Yes I know young folks especially Russel Simmons and various rappers.

I started dieting 3 months ago. I weighed 225 I now weigh 205. No donuts, ice cream, fast food. Absolutely was tough, but the results I’ve seen at the gym, make it all worthwhile. I feel great.
I was at 215. Went to 193 in 1 month. Stopped eating sugar, fast food, no soda. Ate one meal a day. Steak with avocado or salmon with avocado. Drunk water, lemon water, coconut water. Currently 198, gained 4lbs because I've gone back to eating fast food.

If you have gained weight, or fortunate enough to lose weight due to working out,
Get rid of those clothes that do not fit you well , you know the ones I'm talking about the barely hang on the hanger. IF it looks better in the closet than it does on you !!! GET rid of it!!!
Indeed!
Get the clothing you like adjusted at the tailors !!! Fits better and save money
I wouldn’t give up the graphic tees. It all depends on the setting that you’re plan on attending
I don't care what anyone says, I rock some pretty rare horror & comic theme tees. I hang @flea markets, comic cons, county fairs, of course those spots, almost every other guy is sporting graphic tees.
I did find myself having an over abundance of graphic tees but nope so still keep a few around especially some of the retro hip hop or music bands or groups
@@CHRISMED2yeah and it’s a big market on the vintage ones from the 80’s 90’s and they’re going for $50-$80 for those T shirts and people love the distressed look of them too
That's my gym wear😆
Yes and what’s on them.
Dress how you want people just because your getting older doesn't mean you have to dress old lol
I agree 💯
I did keep some wool slacks and a couple of sweaters from 40 years ago that I now fit. Get mamy complements on a fit and finish you do not see now.
Im 66 6 ft 2 180 pound's i still wear a 32 waist i don't wear t shirt out of the house i don't wear out clothes quickly im retired now
Old socks good for wearing during outdoor/ yard work. Also good cleaning rags for your car ✅
😂😅 car rags
Great for post porn watching clean-up
good for dusting things too .
Steve Harvey catchin’ strays left and right 😂
I know, finding a 20+ year picture
😂😂😂😂😂😂
bro wanted to say prison sweat suit instead of nba draft suit lol
All those suits that Steve Harvey wears sometimes is country especially suits with double pockets on the left especially those crush velvets ones and those patten leather shoes from my prom days on 1974
I Love the content you Make definitely One of the best Creators I've seen
Appreciate that!
I normally purchase new underwear twice a year every six months. I do wear sneakers. However, i have two pairs, one for the gym and another for casual wear(Cole Hann). Graphic T Shirts are mainly for the gym , i normally wear a polo shirt when I go for a quick run to the store. I go through my closet once a year to get rid of shirts and dress slacks that no longer fit. The style OG is correct about this will definitely free up some closet space and keep your wardrobe fresh and looking up to date.
This one got me, cleaning out tomorrow.
Great video, Jeff
Excellent!
I definitely agree with everything your saying but love how you bought up wearing a undershirt while wearing a dress shirt it's saved my shirts from many stains
Exactly!!
I've been doing that for years. Thanks OG.
I always wear one.
Great video Mr. OG! I hope dress socks return and no-show socks and/or barren ankles become obsolete. Socks create a much more refined look when wearing dress pants.
I hope so too!
Wear what you want to wear. Doesn't matter if it's or not. Someone created the "in" trend.
@@kelgbrown007 It's a bad trend Brother.
@@d_roi8689with dress pants I agree, but dress socks don’t go with shorts lol
@@umbreonix I was explicit in referring to "dress pants" in my comment. I never mentioned shorts.
Agree with everything except the watch part. Depending on the stature of the man, a larger watch dial still goes well. You can't be 5'4 125 lbs with a 52mm watch on. You'd look ridiculous.
Flavour Flav....😂
I still love my stylish big face diesel watches.
I give away clothes, coats, jackets, sneakers, to the salvation army and Good Will once a year as a rule.

Please let the grown men know to stop wearing Crocs omg

With socks at that. Nurses
This is true and not true at the same time. I already have a great job, wife and kids so i wear wtf i want. I have new clothes that are over a year old and I'm not getting rid of those either. I don't hold clothes with hopes to fit into them, later on, like my wife would. Stay in shape fellas , that's what matters the most.
Agreed. This must be for self conscious single men. I’m in the same boat as you: job, wife, kids I have nobody to impress. I wear the graphic tees my wife and kids buy me proudly.
👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
Even though i like them i dont do jordans im way to old imho to pull it off anymore. Wear the olschool puma roma, shelltoe adidas, diadora, reebok classic, airmax, seude puma, nike cortez, kswiss, NB for geezers like myself
I keep a pair of Jordans in my weekly rotation
I feel you but it depends on how you pair the Jordans and where you are going . When I wear mine I tone down everything else I’m wearing so I’m not looking as if I’m trying to be a young boy . As long as they are not too colorful you can rock them. Remember, our generation made jordans popular ✌🏾😉
Yeah I'm a 6'5 290lb 44 year old juvenile.. and luv my graphic tees 😂
do you!
Yes! distress jeans. The problem OG, some companies will not stop selling distress jeans. I be like WTF? do you have any plain jeans? We are now back into the baggy jean era. I hate it now. Back in the 90’s early 2K it worked. Looking at it today that whole look is wack.
I stopped eating processed food and started juicing and lost 17 pounds. 😳
Nice!

"no you're not...you're not gonna lose the last 10 lbs". speak for yourself my boy. i went from 210 lbs a year ago to nearly 10% body fat now. I'm having to put together a new wardrobe ON TOP OF fitting into clothes that i havent been able to wear in a while.. and that feels great. A little discipline aint never hurt nobody.

Most definitely!
For brothas that worry about weight loss, drink water STRICTLY for one month. I’m talking cut every liquid out except water. You’ll thank me later - and your body will thank you as well.
Thanks for the tips!
what about food
@@runthomas lean meats (grilled chicken, salmon, fish) and heavy on fruits/veggies. It’s not gonna be easy but, trust me, you’ll definitely feel the difference. Take your vitamins as well! I’ll even throw in the occasional ginger tea for gut cleansing, and ONE cheat day, so that you’re not robbing your body of natural sugars.
@@runthomaslean meats and natural veggies, especially avocados. FRUITS FRUITS FRUITS! Parlay that with some carbs (brown rice in moderations). You can also add some nuts, like pistachios, cashews, etc. Vitamins are a must, and ONE cheat day, as to not completely rob your body of natural sugars. For gut health, add cucumbers and lemons to your water.
These were great tips! Thank you Style OG!
My pleasure!
Slight disagreement on a 3 button suit sometimes they look good with only the middle button closed. But the only ones I'd wear is from suitsupply (washington) just because it has that tom ford look
I think dated cologne like jupe in 2024 is crazy
Joop. And as a 44 year old man, I still wear it. Mainly when I run. I enjoy having a fragrance on when I go out for a jog.

Get rid of western suits. Most of them are uncomfortable, they don’t display your original style or taste, they’re antiquated and pretentious, and there are other ways to dress up.
Great Video I agree with your talking points except one I love my big face watches..
do you!
I still love to wear a suit and try to find opportunities to wear them

Outdated hairstyles…men In their 30s and older should
Loose the tapered Afro and sponge brush. Can I get an amen?? 😅
There's my weekend sorted, off to Goodwill!
time well spent!
Good thing I kept the suits that were too small for me. Because I lost a lot of the excess weight and now I can fit them again. So I ended up donating the suits that are now too big. I don’t intend on going back to that.
Be happy in your own skin y'all!
Style OG, I have swollen legs below the knee making finding pants that fit really difficult; and this makes finding chinos basically impossible. Can you recommend any company or way to have some nice flat-front chinos or just a khaki pant that can work with my legs? I am 43 and trying to dress in a casual style that doesn't look like I'm wearing dress pants. and not having to wear jeans as often. Cargo shorts and flip flops really need to go no one wants to see hairy shrek feet.
Thanks O.G.!

Not if you attend formal events 🤷🏽♂️

@@whatdahectoryep, if you go to upscale events or have certain office jobs, dress clothes are definitely a worthwhile investment

Right on time. Tees, drawls (yes, I said drawls), old ass suits from when I had a 34” waist .. gotta all go. Will free up so much room in the basement.

Yeah, hard to find in the "Hood"!
Good stuff!! Yes, left eyebrow was not participating....😆
Do an episode on men's hat wear. I would love to see your take on that.
Soon come!
Please include in your video about hats. Older men wearing baseball caps. Backwards. It makes no sense.
I actually have two sets of clothes. My bulking clothes and my cutting clothes. It takes the stress out of working out and all of a sudden either feeling like a sausage or like I’m drowning in fabric. The hard part is that suits will no longer fit very well due to your physique change.
Wear whatever you feel comfortable in simple
No you look lazy
solid-color tees are cool, but they can be boring at times.
I wear Jordans because women who are 25 years younger than me feel comfortable approaching me when I have something on they can relate to.
I don't care what women my age like to see on men
'Women' that DON'T feel comfortable approaching men with mature fit on.......That's part of the problem 😂
@@dn30001 In my 47 years the women who like you dress with tie and buttons up shirt are usually
Overweight
Old ladies who look older than what they are
Women looking for a financial sponsor
I have got compliments from old bigger women in a suit.
But I have only been approached when I dress a little hood.. especially with some Jordans..
Suits will give you looks from.women 38 to 68
But realistically young pretty women aren't attracted to
@@genovasquez8361 that STILL says more about the mentality of younger women than anything. But everything aint for everyone 🤷🏿
@genovasquez8361 - speaking facts. I'm 47yrs old. Very fit and active with kids in club and school athletics. I dress very well (or so I'm often told) but keep a fresh pair of 4s and 5s. All of my other sneakers are of a classic silhouette- Chuck Taylor All Stars, Nike Sweet Classic, and Adidas Gazelle. While I own more than several pairs of "real shoes", nothing catches eyes more than a simple, classic fit with a coordinating pair of retro Js.
@@dn30001 well let me rephrase it, women who are the most attractive,
now if you want to date women who look Leslie Jones, get you a suit.
The mentality of older women, is you wearing a suit, is they want to use you for money, because best believe, women in my age group didnt find cornell west as handsome, they loved them some tupac back in 1990s, the women who are in their 40s and 50s now, loved dudes with gold teeth, tattoos, sagging his pants, when he was young. Not the nice guys. or the guys who was innocent looking.
Girls from my generation loved the thug. an still do. they will cheat on you for a ninja like me who got on some jordsans and white tee and swag jeans.
Drip is king.
The graphic tee can be dope. There are grown and sexy graphic that add the right flare to an outfit or even an event. Accessories unfortunately are personality based expression. Every accessory is a person's personal expression.
I wear a lot of graphic tees from Into the Am brand and people love them. As long as the tee isn’t vulgar or overly silly you can wear it.
@@jayrobinson4591 for sure!
I don’t do and wear anything for anyone , I do it for me. I don’t care what anyone thinks
Pastel colors don’t wash out all fair skinned men. Just certain pastel colors. Pale pink, mint green, and sky blues are good. But lavender, coral, and sky blue better complement darker skin tones.
This is an excellent video. 🤜🏽🤛🏾
Much respect OG
I appreciate that!
Going to some what disagree with graphic tees. I agree you should ditch cheezy slogans, but i dont see a issue wearing shirts like your favorite music artist. Style OG are you telling me you wouldn't wear a classic Run DMC shirt?
I would!
Should I get rid of my Member's Only jacket?
Nope
Pastels wash out what you cannot control (skin tone)? Might be the silliest thing I have heard. Earth tones and pastels fit all not based on skin tone. The colors of the outfit should complement one another not your "color" of body or face. An additional throw out is the cardigan over oxfords or point collared shirts. T-shirts or sweaters under a cardigan yes. No henleys or polos with it either.
I was with you till the no henleys rule. 😂
@@WallStBullythat is just personal opinion to me😆
