Behringer: Thanks again for selling me a new device. Grind sounds amazing, great looking colour scheme. Have the Edge (love this thing) love my RD9 and RD8 MKII. Had a Crave and the TD3 once but needed to sell it and the TD3 wasn't that exciting, but the MO is. Will buy the Crave again. Looking forward to Spice and the Proton. Hope Grind will be available soon at Thomann.
I love devices like this because they allow you to make music if you can't play a keyboard. I have a hand condition called trigger finger. Sometimes playing a keyboard is out of the question. With devices like this I can still have fun making music. I have all of these but the Grind. I do however have Brains. I can't wait for Grind to be available to buy. I love Brains. Putting brains into a self contained desktop synth is a fantastic idea. I have been thinking about getting another Brains. But getting a Grind seems like a no brainer (pun intendec) to save space in my rack. I definitely plan on doing a jam with all the devices used in this video.
That would be a great name for the genre. Knob-turning demos make some people mad, but I've been enjoying them a lot this past year as one of my primary listening playlists.
Check Soopertrack by Extrawelt - this demo borrowed a lot from that one. Soopertrack is 19 years old but could be somehow the "mother" of your "GAS" genre.
great video! i was wondering how you can sync the behringers , could anyone help me out? ive been trying to sync my crave with a korg electribe and i didnt fully understand it. also im planning to get more of the behringer ones and now im curious how you clock them ! thanks :)
I DIY'd them, super easy, MDF, Wood, plastic Skirting L brackets, screws, oscillating saw. Costs about 2 quid per stand lol (probably even less). I do it for all the synths you see me promo. Loads of people have asked so I'll do a video about them on my channel soon.
Quite a good series of devices which I've avoided, but am still interested , particularly with this plaits/brains version. It would be good if Behringer get those "Spice" boxes out soon too.
What would be interessrting at this point for me as a owner of a RD9, Splice, Edge (and R-Touchbassline 03) is how to connect them all to sync and start stop start at the beginning of the loop again.. We know it sounds awesome!! :D
Wonder where is the Spice? Feel like Grind should replace Crave, so last one looks bit odd here for me. However, just got my own Crave yesterday and it's amazing!
Crave is great. If you run some patch cables you can get some sick bass sounds. I don't remember right off hand what I patched. So just play around with the patch points.
@@jennoscura2381 Sure..but I have Neutron and Model D. With Crave you have less patching with only one OSC. It you buy a used Neutron you can have 3 osc in total😏
What kind of little stand are you using there? I would love to see you guys come out with something that will hold all four of these similarly sized synths.
I made it, it's just a diy job, couple of pieces of MDF (particle board) cut to a specific shape with an oscillating saw, then just screwed with 2 wood bars as central support and skirting board plastic L bar as a support for the actual synth. I've made all the stands that I use in my vids this way, it's cheaper and easily customized.
@@PatchDog I'd like to see / hear more about that! If you have any photos, that would be appreciated. I am always looking for a good, simple stand solution.
Grinding that Spice will give you the Edge that you Crave. Looking forward to making this form factor a trio. For me anyhow, the Crave and Edge have been amazing, the Grind will be a great addition and offer something sonically unique to the line-up.
Oh man this has vcf out and vcf in as well as an attenuator so you can do the same filter feedback trick you do on the crave? Seems like it would work the same, I want to hear what that sounds like!

It's already shipping (from the factory) and available for pre-order. This is how we do it for every release. Takes 2-3 months to arrive at retailers from the factory.
Will it be in stores after this big ‘release’ or is it just us that need to get used to the way Behringer wants to do business? Combined with your Direct-to-Consumer strategy it would be of great benefit to do your sales before you even produce (at scale).
@@ChromosomeSyndicate how is that to be considered bold? Behringer is (slowly) changing directions, becoming bigger and bolder. Click ‘buy now’: Sweet Water? Not listed. Thomann? Not listed. Amazon? @@maikvanrossumSimply for market survey. We are providing free market feedback. Guys like Take the Fear out of gear do reviews and people speak their mind. See, this is what I don't get about synth people.. do you all actually enjoy listening to the same groove, over and over and over, for many minutes on end? Yeah, I get that it evolves and changes slightly, but all I hear after about 2 minutes is repetition.

This, especially when it’s interacting with its brother and sisters, the Crave (Mother 32) Edge (DFAM) Spice (Subharmonicon) will be absolutely AMAZING!
N'awwww bless 'em... adorable seeing them all playing so nicely together 🥲
The crave is sounding so dope in this. Love that bass sequencing 🔥
Love my Crave. It does a lot of things well but is perfect for bass lines. The Grind would be a great addition for general synth and sequence duties.
@@grahamnunn8998 i have a crave, and i like it quite a bit. But for me, nothing compares to the pro-1 for bass !! 😇 its the best one so far (imo)
