Such a great demonstration. I already wanted the Edge but this presenter just sold it. He also sold me on buying some sweet new formal attire. Cheers!

It's cool that even this is more like Drum Synth, it's capable for making melodies and random cool stuff. I'm interested to buy this one to my studio

Old Alesis HR 16 which reminds me of the Alesis MMT-8 (same casing).
Those Behringer modules are really good.

The filters on the dfam are way better. The edge is good for trying out or small budget, but soundwise the dfam is really worth the higher price, especially if you want to use it as a drum machine as it's intended.

A very nice demo, which gives you the envy to have the complete triptyque :
The Edge, The Crave and The Spice (in a near future... i hope) !
Nice set at the end btw, i really love the HR 16 as a drum machine addict !
    Greetings !

Thank you! I’m glad you enjoyed the end jam too! And so glad to hear you appreciate the pairing! So many good drum machines - without the R word on them 😉 Let’s see if we can get that trio here too! All the best /Jason

As a DFAM owner, DFAM sounds better. The edge sounds thinner in comparison in my opinion. DFAM is also built with premium materials while edge is all plastic. DFAM is worth it

Super smart well dressed man. Love the shirt. It was expensive.
I make my own clothes so thats how I know.
I have Moog mother 32 and Subharmonicon.
I will keep the Sub as it IS special.
The M32 is up for sale and with the proceeds I will buy an Edge, the bass and drum synths from Behringer.
Thank you for the heads up.

Crave, Edge and Spice for the cost of one Moog module. Tough call. Let me call my financial advisor. Oh, wait, I can’t afford a financial advisor. 😅

Just my impression or they make a cheaper copy of DFAM? But better qince it have Midi ports 😂😂😂

    • @quiddam
      @quiddam 11 місяців тому +1

pretty much. They could have at least added a reset for the sequencer which was one of the biggest critiques to the DFAM

While I have my issues with behringer as a company having synthesisers like this available at lower price points makes everything a lot more accessible to a tight budget.
As a rule id only get it second hand though.
