Matt - the Ron Jeremy of appliance repairs - has saved me so many times. Thanks Matt. This time it was my lid switch and saved me from having to remove a toilet to get the washer out.

Thank you for providing such clear and helpful information. I discovered a coin stuck in my pump's impeller as I disassembled it. Problem solved. My wife owes me :)

I replaced drain pump and it worked until same problem it stopped draining (of I lower rinse hose to floor water comes out). I tried blowing in rinse hose and after a bit pump starts draining. Any ideas what this could be?

Mine ended up being the lid switch. Tested the continuity with the lid closed and found it was inconsistent. The wiring harness had burned up as well which should have been my first sign. I removed the switch and popped the cover off to find it corroded and melted ended up cleaning it and removing the parts inhibiting the contacts and put it back together it works for now until I can get a new switch and wiring harness...

Used electrical contact cleaner to clean the prongs in the switch

Yes we have a commercial Maytag front load washer. We used this washer for over a year without a problem. Now every now and then we get codes EO1 & FO9. Will not drain. We have pulled and cleaned the filter several times. Maytag say’s start changing parts. We are not going to do this.we know there are several sensor’s. If you have any helpful information please send us a message. Thank you

Or you could politely ask for a specific video. This man doesn't owe you anything.
