- Working up a Rutted Field with a Versatile Fury High Speed Disk
In this video I am out in the field with a Versatile 610 Delta Track Tractor pulling a 40 foot wide Versatile Fury High Speed Disk. This farm is working up a field that was corn the season before and they had rutted up the field as they harvested. Ive done several videos of the Versatile Fury High Speed disk but this is the first video seeing the machine run in these conditions and it did a great job.
Enjoy seeing the Versatile back in competition. They were a great tractor but fell short on hydraulics years ago. Now they are in the running great cabs transmissions. If I wasn't retired would strongly consider a purchase with them
Good video Mike. Loved the unintentional human close call. Gives it a realistic feel. Thumbs up
You did a great job of explaining what the Fury and Delta Track are doing Mike. I REALLY enjoy watching speed discs work. Thanks Mike for the footage.
Now, that's what I call a powerpack! 😉
Thanks a lot for the video!
Awesome video Mike. I love watching your videos 👍👍👍
My son rented a Kinze Mach Till this spring for the same kind of work and was really impressed ,basically the same tool or concept !
Nice close up of the tree leaves...Impressed with the fury working.
Great video Mike.
its cool seeing ya do videos so close to my family farm
Great video Mike!!
Good Morning from New Zealand, thanks for your Great Mike Less Video Thanks for sharing , Have a great week
Excellent video! That Fury sure does a very nice job.
Very impressive Mike. Thank you.
Looks like the fury is doing the job!
Boy that high speed disk does a great job prepping the soil. Great video mike
That does a nice job of working the dirt! thanks mike
Great job of explaining. Thanks
Looks like a dam smooth seedbed after only one pass....
Mike, you could be the next movie star.
Great intro! Although I have been a longtime John Deere fan and a tech I do like the Versatile tractors. The Fury does a tremendous job of preparing the ground for seeding.
Excellent commentary. The videos are excellent as well although not as good as the videos with the attractive models. Thank you for sharing them.
Super awesome footage of that big ol brute. Love watching the delta track in action and I really enjoyed the fury as well.
Them disc sure works that field furiously
Thanks for the great video Mike great content that versatile does a real nice job
I don't think you did a good job... I thought you did a GREAT job! Your knowledge of the Versatile line of products (along with others) is second to none. Thanks for sharing and this video was really enjoyable.
That machine does a nice job👍😉
field left in rough condition after harvest ,difficult field to crop, nice to see tool doing its job farmer is doing his best
Looks like he needed to hit them rut areas a couple of times. Those things were deep
you do awesome job Mike i love all your videos
Did a great job on commentary
Seems a perfect tool for those conditions. A video done by a guy who loves machinery, farming and enjoys fieldwork is always better.
Looks like a pretty big planter in the field across the highway.
Well done video Mike, thanks for posting.
After this disc then a pass with a field cultivator would put that field back in pretty good shape.
Nice disk !!,
That disc does a nice job. Another great video Mike.
A very good job mike
Man that VT does an incredible job, best VT i've seen to date, love you could see the other DT in the background
Yes and he gave this high speed disk a real workout in this field.
Many people confuse VT tillage implements with High Speed Discs. They work in a somewhat similar fashion, but the end results are much different. This is a High Speed Disc with Concave blades. Each blade is Mounted on an independent Shock Absorbing arm. High Speed discs are Much more aggressive than a VT (Vertical Tillage type unit) High Speed Discs are designed and (most) are engineered to work the soil as deep as 5 to 6" . at speeds up to 12+ mph. There are a couple European models (Lemkin) with (24"-26" compound angle mounted discs) that will disc as deep as 9 to 10"+ at high speeds greater than 8 to 10 mph or more.
Take us for a ride in that monster tractor.
Excelente trabalho aí fica perfeito a incorporação da palhada do milho
Nice video Mike keep up good work
Anytime a drone and a tree get in a fight - The Tree Wins!!
Great vidio as always. Info was great. Might think you worked for Versatile the way you explained it .
Have a safe trip.
Wingit more often please. Commentary sounds great!
👍
We love ours pull it 15mph all day long leaves it very smooth
The very very reëel versatile
I don't know it from shineola when it comes to farming so at 5:57 I had to slow the playback speed to .25 to see how that big gizmo the tractor is towing works. In future content you may want to switch to slow-mo on closeups and maybe describe how the gadget works. Great content. Thanks for sharing.
Great idea. I’ll try that in some videos
✌️✌️✌️
Very very nice mike .hopefoly comme the fury to belgium
You mean hopefully
I like Mike less videos.
Mike, you did a fine job with the facts and figures, even my Wife [who knows everything] could'nt have done better. Stay Safe.
You need to talk @ Mike Mitchell into trying some Versatile equipment.
looks like once more over the field would be good.
Awesome bro, I love your video. Tell me what that big eight wheel tractor is at the start is, that's mean. Keep up the good work bro and I'll keep on watching
Os equipamentos de vcs é deferente do Brasil.
Really nice footage! But I am missing the close call...
He almost flew into a tree.
Great video, Mike! Is that a different 610 at the end? Pulled a Case cultivator.
Same tractor and same day. He was finishing up with the field cultivator when I was here and I got a little footage of that but it was so dusty you could hardly see the equipment working in the field so I didn't include it in this video.
Thank you for your great video .. How many horsepower does it need to have to pull the 40 foot high speed implement , or at least how many horsepower per foot . I may be interested ? Thanks
The website says 10-17 hp per foot.
Hello Mike, awesome video, I love that DT... I find that white dust interesting, what exactly is it?.... greetings from Costa Rica...
I'm wondering if it's lime
Commentary was great. Not sure what was a “close call”. Did I miss something??
I was getting into a tree with my drone
Ohhhhhhhhh, I guess you did an okay job of explaining Mike. We get what we pay for I guess?!?! (Ha!Ha!) She sure is purdy Pa. Can we take her home?!?! Huh! Huh! Can we?!?!
Great video, as always. May I ask if you would deem a Versatile Fury to do an adequate kill to break 4 year old alfalfa ground, or longtime rangeland sod?
I think it would work it up really nice.
Thank you kindly.
Justison???
Does versatile have their own brand of gps or do they just use everyone else's ?
At one time Versatile did offer a factory GPS that was made by Raven however most Versatile dealers were selling an auto steer brand such as Ag Leader, Trimble, Raven and so on so now you can order a Versatile tractor that is auto steer ready which has the a factory steering valve that is plumbed into the steering lines and is pretty much plug and play with all the guidance companies.
How fast can they run with that implement?
Its designed to run 8-12 MPH
@@farmhandmike thank you sir
seems about nine or ten MPH in the field
i feel poorly about the disc, one would think a chisel or ripper could have helped cure the situation. she is doing well in the terrain in which she's been deployed. can you attach a harrow bar or something to the front of that tractor for more tillage? looks like Versatile provided ample power. ain't nothin wrong with your video. be neat if you could magnet mount a cam on the implement. i reckon that'd be a step ahead of the other fella
close call lol. looked like a locust tree
I do have some magnet mount footage of a Fury on another video I believe. I'll try to do that again.
Mike j mis juste the ford color blue
Less is always more...
Mike deutz is nothing behind the versatile tractor and fury disk
