A 305 cup Folgers coffee bucket fits perfectly in the center hatch. Just the right height to not slide around inside and still latch the lid. Free mod if you know someone that drinks that brand.
GREAT tip on the Behr paint can ... genius. Lifetime sells a small canister to insert there, but it's small and mostly useless. That can is awesome. Thx!
@@captainnathan1164you don’t hand to, they sit snug in place of your worried about it moving just use a bungee cord and add something yiu can clip it to into the back by the flush mount rod holders or connect the bungee to the milk crate
Thanks for the video man. I recently got a Lifetime Tioga angler and I love it. I wish there was a way to upgrade the seat without drilling into the hull of the kayak. I got one of those seat pads and I took a hammock strap and ran it through the back of the seat and tied them to the handles on the kayak to provide more back support.
I got the green tamarack, good little boats. Thinking about trying it in some kayak tournaments. Feel like a jerk saying it but it would be funny if I land in top 3 against some 8k dollar rigs decked out with live scopes lol
Hell yeah dude - good luck! And yeah man - some of these yaks these dudes put together are actually insane. This does the job perfect for what I do ha. Take er easy!
This is modifying….I’ve had my tam for three years and love it. Last year I modified it with a minnkota 30, I have a bro craft mount. Lights: blue/green leds underneath and front running leds. Running off a 6 switch console with 7 inch cv plus fish finder. There’s two lithium batteries in the haul that feeds the front and 100ah lithium for the motor. “YES” balance is your top concern, always keep that in mind when modifying. I’m currently having a new minnkota traxxis 45 shaft cut down to 28 inches. Minnkota wouldn’t do it so I had to source it out. Hopefully it’ll be done by next week.
Where did you get the six pack of rubber drain plugs at? Just got tamarack angler 100 for Christmas so I have all winter to get it ready for spring. Thanks for all the ideas. Great mods.
What kind of fish finder do you have? I think a similar setup would work nicely on my Teton 100. I've been unusually skunked a lot this year, I think one of those would help.
Dude! It’s an absolute game changer. I have the Deeper Pro+. Got it on sale for 149. Grabbed the mount for it, and mounted to the track. Perfect finder for the yak. Good luck!
I actually don’t use that one anymore. Really any phone holder with a suction cup will work - just wipe down the yak with an alcohol wipe and slap ‘er on there
Yo yo! Cut off the top of a crate, drilled holes in the main crate and the “lid”, zip tied em together. Change them out every so often to keep ‘em fresh

If you're not an engineer, you're one at heart! Great job!
Ha, thanks man.

Great video, creative upgrades. I just bought this kayak and I'll be doing some of these modifications. Thank you.
Have fun!
Looks good great idea on the crate cover imma try that.
Nice hack with the Behr paint bucket, thanks,I bought same boat.
Hell yeah! The bucket is a life saver for sure
Nice work! thanks for sharing
The $17 stadium seat at Wal-Mart is the best upgrade I've done yet!
How did you attach it?

I stand up in mine I put Paracord around fish eye on mine to pull myself up , kayak more and complete your goal. You have to try to stand first.

Can you add a link to the white cup holder/storage? Can't seem to find anywhere.
If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to ask!
What kind of fishing pole holder is on the front ?
Or did it come with it ?
@@AlredyCrAcKeD what’s up fam - the holder comes with the Tamarack. Not sure of the brand, pretty generic
How solid are the stock pole holders up front? Also is it pretty stable overall? Anything you dont like?

How well has the retractable clothesline held up? Does it still retract?
Sure does!
Try some diy stabilizers to help when you stand up when needed.
I’ll eventually upgrade to another yak for that, I think. Don’t want things getting too messy, haha
Which scupper plugs? Link please
How is your utility pouch held in place??
With a nice, sturdy piece of Velcro. I replace it every once in a while when it starts to give out.
Appreciate the info. I just purchased one of these Kayak on sale. Not much if a fisherman. But definitely like having the added storage.
Do you have a link to the phone holder?

I’m actually messing around with my crate now - may do a quick video for DIY crate if that’d internet ya at all
