In 1973 we bought a 10 yr old Bluebird bus and converted it into a camper for our family of 7. We all had a say in its configuration, and all of us worked on it. We took 6 weeks to drive it from Ontario right our to Vancouver Island and back, stopping at Calgary for the Stampede and Edmonton for Klondike Days. It held up pretty well (though we did have a couple of hairpin turns that were too sharp and we had to back down!). We painted it white and called it The White Elephant. Best family vacation ever!
Great video!! I love those classic cars. I noticed that King Midget in your tour of the show. They were built in Athens, Ohio , USA. That's was about a 20 minute drive from my home. A good friend of the family was an assembly, mechanic for the company. A good friend of mine , when he was youg was a test driver. There was a very steep hill in Athens that they drove the little cars up. If they succeeded in making it up the hill, it passed the test ,and was ready for sale. I really enjoy your videos, your adventures, and your beautiful family.
I'm not a fan of car shows but vintage cars are interesting to check out and you made it extra fun with your narrative of different cars Thanks for the tour 🇨🇦🦩
I actually got to ride in a DeLorean in 1990. I worked for a family who were car enthusiasts and collectors. The teenage son in the family to his date to the prom in it. It was trippy. They also had several Shelby mustangs.
Well...that was a bit of a trip down memory lane. That model bus is the one that carried me to and from junior high school. Fifteen cents each way. And a number of my friends had those smaller sporty cars. They weren't classics, then, but just inexpensive beater cars that college students could afford. What a difference 50 or 60 years makes. When I was given a ride in those cars, I never thought to mention that I was riding in a future classic.
Great video. On the green VW Westy that compartment behind the driver seat is where the spare tire is stored. Many buses had their spare tire mounted outside in the front of the bus.
Thanks Alex a really enjoyable vlog.I used to go to many car shows here in the UK and this took me right back.I could almost smell the crushed grass and exhaust. Some beautiful cars there and proud owners. 😀
Yes, Alex, I agree with you that little king 65 what’s the lot like an old Willys jeep? I wonder if there was any influence by that somewhere down the line😂😂😂
Definitely convert an old bus Alex but you know, they made smaller buses. So maybe, convert a short bus. But we will be right there with ya, the whole way. Let’s go!! 🚌🚎🚍✌🏻💚🤞🏽🚐 Also, I truly do love these car videos. I remember people used to complain about them but your knowledge, helps me to understand and appreciate the differences and uniqueness of these vehicles. Thanks for sharing that knowledge with us. 👍
Great video. I love the old cars. Not much the exotic cars but vintage and muscle cars. Saw so many I would love to have there at that show. I loved the truck with the locomotive body and thought that half retored car was very cool. Sadly you don't see very many vintage or muscle cars in the Philippines but there are lots of VW's here.
Why the woman wore furs and hand muffin back in the day. Pretty cold in the old, open vehicles. That Porsche and the guy who built it, wow! The locomotive truck is very cool! Yes, buy a bus and renovate it. My dad dis and we got so much use out of it. 2 sets of bunk beds, a table that made into a bed and a couch/bed. Alex, you need sunscreen and/or a hat 😊
12:16 Holy Mad Maxmobile, Batman! That truck is begging to be a BBQ setup. The hearse elsewhere looks like a sweet ride, at least for the driver. I've heard of old ones being used as prom limos by kids with a sense of humor. It's a good thing I'm too old.(LOL)
There is a guy in UK who has an electric Porche Taycan which he often complains about, the infrastructure rather the actual car, I have notified him about the electric Porche you featured.
Alex,Jason my classic car guys. I love all the different styles of automobiles at the car show. So many cars I never seen before. The weather was perfect. Lots of fun to be there. Alex my sexy friend. Until next time. Love please, take care and stay safe. I love you 🍺🥤😇🇺🇸🙏🕊🌈👍🌹🌞❤️
I would like a mini bus, no the shorter yellow bird buses, and converted over to a camper. That way I could travel and camp without having to drag a trailer along with me. I mean it’s just me and my two dogs and cat but I think I’d leave one of the dogs homewith the house and the cat and I would take just one dog with me and that would be my medical service animal. I do a little traveling, but where I have a farm and livestock I really can’t go too far away couple hundred miles and back home again in a day or two.😂😂
Where would you park it. I would not want to mess up your pretty backyard. Melissa might have a problem. She may not want to give up her garden space.😊
I was hoping you would look at the red 199? Mustang. I would have like to see if the IP is one I made. I made the instrument panel for the Mustang from 1994-1999. It was on the same line as the T-bird IP.
Velvet interior was luxurious but smoking cigars in there seems a recipe for disaster, burn holes and smoke stink. Leather was only on the drivers seat in limos back then because it was easy to clean and they didnt have vinyl. I much rather velour but yes harder to clean. Love your Alfa, theres one here in Australia for sale at $A300000 😳
Very cool, but shame you walked by so many cool classic muscle cars without a word. Especially the 68 Red Yenko Chevelle you were were next to, but I know it's not your bag.

I should have waited until the end. To make a comment but the husband better be careful. And not make her husband mad. She might put him in the back of her car. In the coffin. I think if my husband could have gotten away with it he would have gotten a Corvette. But being six three, I don't think he would fit.😊
Really can't get with electric vehicles. Just watched a video of a family going from Winnipeg to Chicago for a family reunion it went over two hundred miles until it needed charged cost 250 USD to charge it. Then needed recharged in Minnesota no place to charge it. They left it, and rented a car to get to Chicago.🤭🤭
Wow, and I thought I had trouble scrounging up money to fill up my car! At least compared between the two I don't pay near as much as that. Definitely wouldn't want an electric car now 😆! That $250 could go towards rent, groceries, bills, or maybe a payment towards a cruise later on that year lol 🤔😁.

I vote for Alex to restore an old bus !!!
Yes, Alex should definitely restore a bus!!!
That Porsche is amazing, truly 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻✊🏻 to the gentleman who built it! Wow!

Another great video and a fantastic vehicle show, thanks for your great knowledge about the cars.

I love that old Hearse! I'm making plans to take a trip to the Simpson Funeral Museum in Virginia. Great video Alex!
Great video. On the green VW Westy that compartment behind the driver seat is where the spare tire is stored. Many buses had their spare tire mounted outside in the front of the bus.
I saw the Porsche at the Chipman Car Crafters show. Beautiful build.
This was super interesting to watch. Thank you for all the info on such a variety of cool cars!
Great video, love your classic cars videos, your so in the zone, and very informative 👍
Good talking to you at the show, love your Alpha, thanks for posting this.
Bob (74 Westy)
If I had a car like one of those I’d dress for the era at the car show.
Your Alfa is one of the coolest there.

Wow, that Porsche speedster is amazeballs. And the paintwork!
Enjoyed it!
32:02 🤤 🤤 🤤 dear lord. Those 2 trucks are fantastic.
the DeLorean motor was a V6 PRV it was a motor developed bye a joint venture between Pegouet, Reanault and Volvo.
The Maserati Merak styling has stood the test of time, still gorgeous except for the US bumper!
Why the woman wore furs and hand muffin back in the day. Pretty cold in the old, open vehicles.

The steam truck is actually a bbq smoker. You could see the open lid on the other side

I reckon that big bus could be turned into a bowling alley on wheels,
That's like my Cadillac XLR convertible
Yes get a buss i dont know about Canada, but here in the US you can pick up old school busses cheap!
How crazy is it that I was coveting that old bus, lol?!
Love car shows❤❤❤
I had that Barbie Camper lol
Love The Sunbeam Tiger,,, they are so much fun,,,,

Yes, I had the Barbie camp set! 😀 And the Corvette, while my sister had the big townhouse.

The red ford is soooooo cool❤
A person has to wonder if they make some kind of windscreen for an iPhone microphone for when you do these open field type videos, Alex.
Where would you park it. I would not want to mess up your pretty backyard. Melissa might have a problem. She may not want to give up her garden space.😊
You DONT need a bus son!!!
I have one of those Barbie Campers. Slightly customized.
Wonder if Alexander ever caught up with the Westie owner about the mysterious feature.
yall would love the Houston Tx Art Car Parade!
Sunbeam Tigers used the 260-289 V8s used on the early Mustang.
There is this guy in Scotland that has/had a TV show about EV conversions. BAsically converted any Porsche to Ferrari !

John Delorean worked for GM before he went out on his own.
Who is the Reynolds the museum is named after? I'm interested for genealogical reasons.
Stan Reynolds, i f i recall he was a WWII vet. Very well known in the area, passed a few years back
