Yes I get it, Lenny Williams, Larry Braggs and the list goes on and let's not forget Rufas Miller, I agree we all have our favorites but one of the most underrated is Tom. I've seen all of them perform live with TOP since day one minus Rufas. Tom was one of the most entertaining but underrated.. I'll leave it at that...
Wow!!!! Killer video (and great audio). An oftentimes "forgotten" TOP lineup that kills it here! Parenthetically, this was the only "non-integrated" lineup ever.......
I grew up on this version of TOP. Saw this version in Cincy Ohio at Bogarts music club. Blew my mind. The encore was a killer up tempo Soul Vacc, I could barely walk after that. Saw TOP a few weeks ago opening for Lettuce. Bold and dominating as ever.
Unbelievable sound quality, thank you for sharing it! I thought it was starting off with a studio recording overlaid as an intro, but it's real. Wow. Does anyone know if Rocco ever requested to be left out of these kinds of videos? I've seen so little of him in so many pro-shot live vids of the band that it seems like more than chance. I love hearing him so well but would be nice if more editors included him in the visuals!
Sure, but I personally really dug what some of the other drummers brought to the table. The thing i always liked about Russ is that he was so super clean. Rock solid timing, fully capable of overplaying but never did. Like a Ferarri doing 70mph on a freeway, cruising along but if you need to do 120mph to blow the doors off of someone, it was right there on tap. I love Garibaldi to death and the classic lineup is totally untouchable, but Russ brings some things here that David just doesnt. There's a weight behind it, a luxury. It's nice to hear a different take on the original.

The Incomparable Francis Rocco Prestia... He was so amazing and set the bar for bass players.
Yeah, but shame on the producers/camera people: if I didn't know better they were working hard to EXCLUDE Rocco from any of the footage!
They had a great lineup during this time . Monster on a Leash and T.O.P were killer records.
Early 90''s
Tom was the best vocals they had in my opinion. Saw these guys at Janis Landing, St. Pete Florida. High energy, super tight, just memorable.
Tom Bowes hitting strong with that raw soulful voice .
SOUND SO GOOD LIVE YOU CAN HEAR EVERYTHING CLEARLY... GOOD PRODUCTION.. AMAZING CONCERT
The best tower of power of the history
Great sound !! Tom Bowes brought so much energy!!! The keyboard was awesome!! What more can say about the horns!!! Tremendous!!!
Audio is fantastic! Great capture of this great group...
Really great, I like Tom on lead vocals for TOP.
Awesome video of the best band of all time.
Tom Bowes one of the best singers TOP has ever had or should I say one of the most underated ✊🏼 what a line up 👍🏼
Nope I think Lenny Williams and Larry Bragg were the best Singers for TOP.
@@Agogo57 , Rick Stevens was one of their best singers as well. 🎺🙂
. He was ok.
AGREE!!

A Cure-all once again & full of fUnKiFiCaTiOn.
This is Killin'! One of the best iterations of this band. Tom Bowes brings it.
No better funk, other than JB.
This line up was tight!! Lee Thornberg was tearing it up!!
This is the musicians visiting Larvik/Norway in 91/92. Never forget it:)
La funky musique que vous avez toujours rêvé d’entendre, sans jamais oser l’espérer.
Merci pour le partage.
