@@stevecassidyguitar Used to accompany spouse on work or conference trips, and visited local guitar shops while she did her thing. Not much of a difference in variety, given that we've only really traveled up and down the US East coast, but it does give you more used stock to wade through, as opposed to your local stores which have probably seen the same instruments sit on the rack for months if not years.
I’m from California, a few years ago we visited the UK, stayed with friends in Macclesfield and found a great guitar store there. Also visited Denmark Street and the shops there. Spent about a week driving through Scotland (my dream location as my ancestors are Scottish). Unfortunately didn’t search for guitar stores at the time as Castles and Haggis were the priority during that run. Just subscribed!
Loved this Steve. Fantastic place! You mention how nice the Chinese people are. Our next door neighbour is a Chinese student (Newcastle University). Lovely lad. He went home for the Xmas holidays and gave us all the food out of his fridge & even brought us a present back for keeping an eye on his flat while he was away. Lovely people who look after each other as you say.
Awww mate! That was very kind of him 😀 I've met a lot of Chinese folks through my gf (Yoshi) everyone is always so nice, polite and respectful. Just a completely different culture over there 🙏
Yessir! On both sides of the road too - like at least 20 stores of music instrument shops (not all guitar stores unfortunately 😜). I'm back now - but I totally would have grabbed ya that guitar if I'd have known 😜👍
Thanks for posting Steve, always interested in seeing what guitars they have in their shops. Like the idea of displaying the straps to the Guitars - they even had my Blue Chain Strap! 👍 Oh yes, We want more Steve 😀👍
I really like the strap suggestions hanging off the guitars! That’s a nice touch! Reminds me of stores that pair ties and shirts with suits for men who don’t know how to match colors and patterns, lol. 😂 But all jokes aside, it shows that the shop really wants to be helpful to people that don’t know how to pick straps for their guitars - and it’s a nice way for people buying straps to get some ideas for guitars they have at home already. Plus, it looks nice being displayed like that. I’d love to see shops do that sort of thing here in the US! I’ve never seen that. Love the acoustic selection too. I am also surprised to see a Tank G in there. A really nice mix of budget and high end choices! They are really friendly in there - looks like a nice place to check out if someone goes to Beijing!
Thank ya Marsha 😃🙏 This comment looks like it would be a great trip advisor review 😃👌 But yeah I agree on all points - loved the strap pairings too and a good selection of gear too - like ya say 😎👍
Very Cool, Thankyou Steve. Awesome tour and stores. My Highlights 'The paired green Strat and Strap' ..... AND The 'Collection' of the Totally Awesome 'Joyo Jam Buddy Amplifier (lol) Such an Amazing little rechargeable Amp that seems to be making a Come Back, showing up everywhere on UA-cam suddenly. Cool. All the Best. Cheers

Hey Steve I would appreciate if you could show us the local branded guitars more instead of the usual fender and Gibson that are readily available in Western countries.
