I am not actually a Ford fan !...but.....my first ever car was ...wait for it ...!!!...a 1958 Ford Custom .....With the straight 6 motor ....I bought it in 1969 for the huge sum of R100....!!!!.That was my transport to and from my army base in Pretoria ....in 1969.......I am a Fiat fan.!.......but I have always been in love with these Ford BDA Cosworth motors ....Must rate as one of the most successful racing motors ever ...Absolutely beautifull...!!!......Tell me Gert ......where did you get all these Cosworth motors ....???....Where in Limpopo do you reside ......as i am a Limpopo animal too....Koedoeskop ....near Thabazimbi...Your cars look absolutely fabulous..!!

@@jeromepeters6499 you can use tamia model paints x26 and x27 for the red and orange tints to bring the lenses back to life👍
Nice cars, but if that car, without being turbo charged, beat a 333i Beemer, Johny Du Plooy, obviously didn't know much about driving, let alone racing.

Nooooo... I have one these south african beauties (mk1 capri) they are far from just being ornaments. If I lived in south africa I would have a garage filled with fords like these amongst other brands, the prices in SA are still achievable unlike in the uk and Europe and SA has some very unique models not available elsewhere. If it was safe I would love to visit, go to some of the junkyards and meet some of the locals but I'm White so it's not a good idea especially since I don't know which areas to avoid..
