If the Prsds want to block shots you lift your shot a little bit where it not hitting their leg pads but it's hitting their ribs or in areas that doesn't have the heavy padding. The more it hurts the less they will block.

Yeah, feeling like the puck is heavy and your legs are heavy is a real thing. It's your body tensing up. He just needs to go out there. Breathe, relax and be present

Not missing wide open nets would be a great way to score more goals

I wouldn't know what to suggest to Pettersson but I would suggest Nashville not slam him into the boards because when everyone was treating him like "boy in a jersey" entering the league he was angry and when he's angry his shot is a laser beam, he's breaking ankles, he's inventing systems on the fly instead of trying to remember systems of coaches who were not as genius as him. The trouble is it's friggin impossible to make him angry.

*lmao... The guy is as cool as a cucumber. He has no next gear. Maybe Matheson needs to slam him again so EP can start breaking people's ankles with his stickhandling again.*

They've been struggling to generate good chances for weeks. Relying on miraculous chemistry from guys like Garland and Joshua. The end is near. The Canucks turned into a pumpkin a few weeks ago.

Peterson is Sedins all over again. Y’all know what I mean by that.
He’ll have a very similar career I think.

*Not even close. Sedins rarely disappear half a season. They may have a lower ceiling, but they were more consistent throughout the entire season.*

@@AzNightmare I think he meant that the Sedins had a rough start to their career and took years before they became great players

Ferraro said it well: Petterson is "not the fastest guy, he's not the strongest guy". Those are two major weaknesses that are showing up every night he plays, especially now. He sure can't skate like Quinn Hughes or Connor Garland, and he is incapable of being "Mr Beast" like JT Miller when things get rough. I think people expect way too much of this guy, and after watching him for the last several years I'm sorry to say that I think he's been over-rated. Maybe this can change in the years to come with a lot of patience and good coaching, but not right now in the playoffs.
