To give context: Auld lang syne translates as Old long since, its a song about two friends catching up with each other over a drink having had a long yet sometimes distant friendship. It's a nice choice methinks. Best wishes from Scotland
I thought so too. It seemed like a nice little measure. They even printed it out on pink paper so that shows it was in the works, although I doubt printing budget is a problem in such a large organisation XD.

Scotland and Ireland are 2 different entities right? As i know, both region want to seek independence.
And the downfall begins. April 2021, import fee of goods into UK is so high and extra fees have been added that it is ridiculous to live here.
I'm not sure losing our main source of food, medicine and skilled workers is really cause for celebration.
And banking too 😑
@@Elfangorlanzhou boohoo, how will we cope?!
The speaker be like “bye felicia”
"Take down flags! Be quiet! Follow the rules!" Ah, let us ask again, why is Great Britain leaving? Why should others leave? Exactly this. Exactly how she reacted.
"We love Europe, but we hate the European Union." Brilliant!
Elvis Neuhardt It’s more like they do not want to follow the rules THEY MADE THEMSELVES.
A vote is a vote.
That was not against the flags themselves, but you're not allowed to take ANY flag in the parliament.
Flag is disrespectful to parliament chamber. That's the rules. They bring their flag cause they are feel bitter about themselves.
lusia bournet flags represent a country and people it’s disrespectful to refuse to allow a country’s representative not to fly one
And look at the state of things since...
Where is now Mr.Farage?
What? Did you think he was appointing himself dictator for live or something?
She's so mad 😂
Auld Lang Syne isn't about parting, it's about being reunited...
3 years too late - but for context, its a Scottish song. The entirely of the European Parliament was mocking the UK with the notion that Scotland will return to the EU one day.
Who tf cares
Brexit is starting to become England's biggest embarrassment yet. Before King Charles...
The only people who find it embarrassing are Guardian-reading lefties.
Now, in 2023, the UK is broke and 50pct islamized. Are you better off now?
Islamised???
@@antoniocasias5545 Visit London and any other city. It is so obvious!
LOL absolutely true, I've sorted the comments by the recent ones because the most liked (the old ones) are written as if it was something very nice and badass...
what does that even mean "islamised"
Wait a second. So they would be better off in the EU, that would OBLIGE them to take the migrants in, rather than regain it's independence in migration regulation as a sovereign state?
Like father like Son as they say, truly the US learned it's manners from the UK
"We don't hate you, we just hate you"
Europe and the EU are different things...
......
More like we don't hate you, we hate this
This didn't age well for UK
And now UK has a supply, trucking and petrol crisis. Pretty poetic
Kaya nga! Hahaha miris ba? 😂
We have the same here in Canada, and the US is dealing with the same thing. Must be because they voted for Brexit too eh?
@@tommcd8471 nah. the problem in the UK is their lack of truck drivers. the same problems in north america is caused by port backlog, not necessarily truck driver shortage. having the same problems does not mean they're caused by the same thing.
That’s because of Covid
Well, at least they weren't bitter about it 🤣
they wouldn't be bitter about it because we've wanted to leave for ages
The irony of the speaker trying to cut off Farage for waving flags.
The EU is all about a power grab. The French have way too much influence over it
I don't think you understand the word irony
@@lenawagenfuehr53 What makes you think this Lena? I'm curious.
Ronbo Fett If the kids of Pakistani immigrants were elected to the British parliament and started waving Pakistani flags you brexiteers would be calling it a invasion. Why would the EU permit a country that is not part of it waves its flag on its parliament?

"You are going to miss us"
Oh, how are you enjoying your food shortages now? You miss the EU workers yet?
There are no "food shortages". I visited two fully stocked supermarkets yesterday and found everything I needed. I filled up my car with petrol as well. It's media BS causing panic buying in London.
Sorry to disappoint you.
Their salaries rised...
