"Hurry up you wimp!" Boop. She couldn't be nice to save her life lol😂😂🤣🤣
Literally 😂😂😂
😂😂😂
That's what extreme narcissism is😊
😂!!!!!!!
That fall from the staircase seemed like forever and so funny.
But he pushed her down the stairs. 😢
@@birdie3rdie Sorry, I mean that "took forever" pause in the staircase is what's funny not that part that Bruce killed Meryl.
@@ofwhanapbahay8337You mean Ernest killed Madeline?
Hit every step 2x at least
😂!
I'm so glad universal pictures hasn't forgotten about this movie
It was a hit at the box office and from Zemeckis so of course. Showtime and Starz haven't since it's on those channels all the time.
@@whenfatkillsfat803 well but it's still considered a cult classic y'know it kinda came and went it's not like the most popular move of all time but I love it
@@whenfatkillsfat803 halloween film
I wish they'd release the alternate ending 30 minutes with Tracey Ullman's character. Apparently it was a darker ending.
Incidentally, there is a Broadway musical currently in the works, featuring a book by *Marco Pennette* and an original score by *Julia Mattison* and *Noel Carey.* They they just had an industry reading of the musical in April, with *Megan Hilty* as 'Madeline,' *Jennifer Simard* as 'Helen,' and *Christopher Sieber* as 'Ernest.'
Can we talk about that amazing camera work being done in the first minute? It's amazing how instead of cutting to the scene upstairs, it was literally one camera the entire time from the moment Madeline walks inside, to seeing Ernest with his drink on the ground and then panning up to the stairs back where Madeline is.
0:49 also, how did they shoot this with the mirrors without the camera being in the way here?! There's not a single set or cast member spotted even with the mirror door pushed open to the side.
Looks like the mirrored door isn’t facing directly at the camera, but is slightly off, so they could hide the camera just out of view.
👌
I love Meryl Streep, she is hilarious in this movie....boozing flaccid clown...the best line ever.
And then follows it with “a blasted undertaker who’s more dead below the waist then his clients! Hey, maybe I should sleep with on of your clients, at least I know I’ll be getting something stiff.” LMAO. 💀
FLAAAAAACID!!!
@@lepetitchat123😛😛😛😛
I love. How he asked her if she was okay moments after killing her lol
😂
When I was a child this was SUCH a gigantic accomplishment in movie tricks. There were making if’s all the time and I was mesmerized by this
3:28 this horrified me as a child, but it’s absolutely hilarious as an adult how long it takes her to reach the bottom. 😂
"Animal. Psycho. Wife Pusher!" 🤣
This movie aged well, it didnt age at all
Still looks awesome. 80s movies , the best.
It's a 1992 movie.
Its still tipically 80s cinema
90s cinema officially starts at 1993/4
It changes thematically and the kodac film series changes (different film colours)
This movie is epic on so many levels!
He called her CHEAP, and it was the most iconic moment in the movie.
One of the best films ever made
This is one of my favorite movies ever and it's truly not appreciated enough. Fantastic cast and fantastic story concept
Excellent film, groundbreaking CGI in use too.
She landed like a family guy character 😂
And years later she beat peter up
😂!!!
Well she did more than fracture her limbs on the way down 😂
Lmaoooo facts
You know Meryl is a great actress because she manages to say flaccid so many different ways and with such vitriol 😂
Amazing acting from these two.
"I might have more fun with one of your clients - at least I'd be getting something stiff" 🤣
Sad thing is, the minute she drank that potion, she was already dead. Human bodies have adapted to protect and heal from injury (within willpower and reason), through numerous wear and tear. Her body's basically FROZEN in time, which is why she doesn't age, but also can't heal herself without outside 'maintenance'. It was why there was all those flaws after every injury. They basically fall apart in the end!
Um, no. She would’ve been okay had she not died. Now she’s trapped in her rotting corpse. That’s why she’s falling apart.
Its MAGIC
I mean it’s called death becomes her for a reason
The potion did heal the cut on her finger. It was just when they die, they just continue existing but slowly rot.
Must say its nice to see a proper mansion in a movie and not a big house described as a mansion on film ❤️💜🌎 beautiful set's !
I'm watching this right NOW, Christmas Eve. Bruce Willis was just 37, Meryl Streep 42, Goldie Hawn 47.⭐ Love this movie. I was just 14. GREAT MOVIE! 🎥🎬
Really watching 24 december??.
I froom Argentina.
Think about the fact that she wasn't even able to enjoy her perfectly rejuvenated body for even one night. This is likely barely an hour after she took the potion.
And she clearly paid a great deal of $$$ for that as well!
Tell me about it. At least Helen got a few years to enjoy that potion.
@PanagiotisZois2306 yeah, in the end it was a big waste of money taking that potion
@@ginomolina3it wasn't a waste they got what they paid for😂
@@ginomolina3 agree! Madeline's biggest mistake..
She had it coming.
she didn't even had time to enjoy her youth lol
Alot of iconic scenes, this being one of them. Madeline transitioning into a younger her. Helen as a bigger woman and in rehab. The hole in helens stomach. The harmonizing between madeline and helen saying "pleeease". The party with all the alleged dead celebs. And of course.. The church scene at the end. I could go on tbh. Lol..
I think after you drank the potion, you live forever. But you need to take care your body aka. Don’t die. As long as you live forever, you don’t have to be worried about falling apart.
Exactly 👍
This was her 2nd chance to turn things around for her life but she stayed cruel and payed the price
Bro...the score for this movie is super unmatched. I love to fall asleep to this!
Isn't it!!? That gothic opera heightens the whole thing.
Alan Silvestri. He composed a lot of classics -- "Forrest Gump," "Back to the Future," "Predator," "Who Framed Roger Rabbit," "Night at the Museum," "The Avengers," etc.
"Exactly which part of the plan were you unclear on?" LOVE IT
😂! Her face while saying it!
The soundtrack to this movie is incredible. There's something about 90's film scores...
The way she twists her own head back around, just like it's supposed to be...but then there's some lumpage on the right side of her shoulderline, near the neck........
Very creepy!
And-believe me-a doctor ain't gonna do her a bit of good! That young'uns as dead as a doornail. She just doesn't realize it yet.
Universal please, please, please, please release the deleted scenes... this movie must have been almost 2 hrs long. I have counted 22 (extended) deleted and alternate scenes at least.
1 Ernest & Madeline wedding scene
2 Ernest and Madeline leaving the house
3 Dakota and Madeline in bed

5 Ernest and Toni at Dominick's

7 Jay Norman & Starlet and Madeline talk
8 Helen and Ernest talk extended
9 Madeline comes home after taking the potion and calls Dakota... Ernest listens in
10 Doctor finds Madeline dead (paased out) in hospital
11 Helen calls the Menville residence
12 Ernest puts Madeline in freezer
13 Ernest visits Helen at Beverly Hills Hotel, Helen again tears her hand open with a hankerchief
14 Rose arrives for her duties and fights Ernest when he says she's fired
15 Ernest takes Madeline out of freezer and up the stairs

20 Madeline and Helen search for Ernest at Menville mansion
21 Madeline and Helen find Toni crying over Ernest (pretends he's dead) and Toni gives the potionbottle to Madeline... followed by Ernest and Toni talking.
22 The Alternate Ending: Toni and Ernest at old age, Madeline and Helen bored...
There may be even more
Edit: There's more... there was a scene with some workers at an autopsy room working on a dead Priest (right after the floating nuns) right outside the morgue and after the "'It's a miracle!" scene we see one of the workers again... Ernest and Madeline walk by and Mad goes: false alarm! So that's two short scenes.
WE REALLY NEED ALL OF THIS. HOPEFULLY ONE DAY THEY RELEASE ALL OF IT
How do you know all that? So mad was going to see dakota after how he treated her?🤨
@@robotzombie4754 yeah she calls him from the bedroom while Ernest is listening (there are stills of this on deathbecomesherforever) and she demands that the girl is gone when she gets there... and he has to be undressed lol
@@adriianocasas well we're halfway there... they have released the deleted scenes music on the new soundtrack release 😆
@@XanArt21 As far as I can tell, there’s only one track in the new deluxe edition of the soundtrack that contains any music from a deleted scene. That being track 22 “Switzerland”. The rest is either simply expanded and unreleased music, or alternate versions of previous tracks. Such a fun score. I never tire of it.
Is there any other stairfall scene in cinema history better than this one? By the time it was over, I had grown a 5 o'clock shadow.
As a chiropractor this gave me chills down to my toes!
LOVE LOVE LOVE this film. SUCH a classic!!!
I still find it odd that anyone would have marble steps in their house since these could actually happen without the person coming back to life lol
Doesn’t matter what the steps are made of. You’d die anyway depending on how big the stairs are
True lol
She landed in the Family guy pose lol
I'd say that's the other way around.
Love this movie ! They are all so great at comedy ! One of my all time favorites ! Just this video clip reminds me of how much fun this movie is !👍💙
Meryl Streep looking at herself in the mirror as if she hadn't always had this perfect body will never not be funny to me 😂
This was such a fun movie. Everyone was awesome. 😂
One of my favorite movie... i can watch it over and over again
GIVE US THE DELETED SCENESSSSS
My favorite movie ever!
I love this movie , so wonderful and funny!!! 😂
Thank you very much ,Meryl Streep , Bruce Willis and Goldie Hawn ,i love it!!! 😊
-Told to be careful with your body
-Immediately goes home and antagonizes her husband to the point he kills her
Antagonized him to kill her? Nah. He lost his own collective chill and entire mind over pretty minor insults. Shows how weak he is, and how right she was.
@@Nopenopenope6969 As she later told Helen, she brought this on herself.
High camp! Wonderful.
This movie is a classic, thanks. I'll see this weekend
The way he screamed always cracks me up ! 😂
Awesome movie!!! One of my favorite!
❤ I love this movie! It's super funny. 😂
Classic, I love this movie😂
Everybody talks about how great of an actress Meryl Streep is, but no one ever talks about the absolute CHOPS it takes to hold their own acting alongside her.
Best movie ever!!😮
This movie is hilarious! They seem enjoying their role here lol.
I loved this movie!
I need this potion, and yes I know already the warning, give me that potion 😆😆🤣🤣
iconic!!!!
Classic dark comedy
I was so young but I still remember this movie
sooo hilarious with amazing actors
iconic
I always wished they’d make a sequel. About where Mad and Hels are years later
No lol. That ending is perfect and part of what makes it so good!
I watched this movie when I was on the plane coming to America for the first time.
when i was a kid, this scene made me think falling down the stairs was a one-way ticket to death xD
I mean, depending on how you fall it very well can be lol
@@persephoneblack888 fair point 🤔 my child brain thought it 100% no questions asked you will fall just like her and die in a mess xD
imagine my surprise the first time i fell down a flight of stairs haha
@@holliegould3463 Did you ever think that the way you reacted thinking you would die, might have been what saved you from actually dying? Food for thought
@@WitchKing-Of-Angmar hmmmm 🤔 that is a very intriguing thought! perhaps my child subconscious saved me after all!
Well, it is, falling down a flight of stairs is the accident that causes more deaths worldwide every year.
Iconic film ❤
Please release an extended version of this movie 🤞
Is no one going to talk about "Mad..." "Hell...' 😂😂😂
We need a remastered 4K version with Dolby Atmos please!
I still think, that when her body started to move down the stairs
it is soo frightening!
Meryl rocking the Vuitton bag well before it became ubiquitous
THE BEST MOVIE 🎥 EVER MADE
I loved this movie ❤❤❤❤
From his perspective, he could say that he was on the phone to _her_ when Meryl fell down the stairs...
MUITO LOKO ESSE FILME, adoro! ❤❤

Never thought a guy like Bruce could have such a girly scream
Shouldn't have called him a wimp. Big mistake! 🤦🏻
He was a wimp though! Anyone who is driven to murder over being called that is definitely weak as hell.
This movie is so underrated
I never knew it was Bruce Willis in this, when i very 1st saw this when i was a kid, it was only a last yeah when i watched it again, nearly 30 years later, and i was like, hang on he looks familiar?? Then i twigged.
This is dark comedy. I loved this Movie, especially this scene an the scene with Meryl an Goldie fighting. But in this scene you could hear her neck break more than once, an to still get back up.
Funny movie!
What an eye! 😂😂😂
Please release the FULL version of this film with all deleted scenes.❤
That's scene was crazy. I don't know how I thought about this movie randomly.
You should release this movie on 4K.
She didn't even get to enjoy being young again for a full day 😢
Im love with her bedroom😭
I miss the way the movies used to be
Remake dream cast? Emily blunt and Anne Hathaway and Chris Hemsworth
Good call!
Streep was surprisingly pretty when she was younger
Violent neck-snapping death is fine but don't say the B-word!
If it makes things a little bit better, the silenced out the S-word too when Madeline says “You’re in the $#*t-house now, pal!”.
aaaah .... this movie .....
This movie will stand the test of time 😂
2:04-2:08 OHHHHHHHHH!!!!
FLAAaaaaaAAaaccid~
They’re going to remake this. And it’s gonna be a fucking dud.
It sure will be. It does not need a remake. Why even try? Jessica Chastain is a talent, but Anne Hathaway? Just don't.
@@stephenraynes2148Isn’t it Kate Hudson and not Jessica Chastain?
And for Anne’s case, I agree with you. She’s cringe af
...and she had more to say
This is a very funny movie!!!! I’ve always liked this movie, but this scene in particular even though it’s wrapped around comedy is very serious. Be careful with your words and how you talk to each other, specially in a marriage, and never think I might not come to a tragedy because don’t get use to insults, we get tired of them, is as simple as that. Women nowadays think because they now got rights and the courts will rule in their favor think they can abuse and mistreat a man, this should not be, and a good man might take it for a while, but if continued that man or woman will have enough and probably commit a tragedy. Nobody likes to be abused and mistreated, they put up with for a while but eventually it could explode into something terrible, bottom line, treat each other with respect.
thank you.
Thats why i would never have a grand staircase
Honey, I think I need a doctor...
Honey, I think you need an exorcist!
That is a lot of stairs.
