    I have used these products and they work EXACTLY as shown. There was a hole in the bolster the size of a quarter and using the repair kit, I restored it so it looks like new.

    What about the sealer that you showed at the beginning of the video
    Do you use it after the dye

    • @Leathertouchupdye
      @Leathertouchupdye  6 місяців тому

      Yes, the sealer provides full and complete protection against soil, and wear.
      For future care maintenance, we would recommend cleaning once a month and application of our protector. Once a year this is called our cleaning and protection kit.

    my car seat only has wear on that rounded seam on the bolster, but it is a cream seat, and the bolster seam is now very dark grey, would one of your kits work for that?

    My experience w leather dyes is they get sticky & can come off when using leather cleaners later. Does your product solve this?

    • @Minkyu85
      @Minkyu85 6 років тому

      s50201 You need to understand the difference between dye and paint.
      Their products are fantastic.

    • @s50201
      @s50201 6 років тому

      these fuckers claim it's dye, but maybe they're lying out their ass

    • @Minkyu85
      @Minkyu85 5 років тому

      Mayra Flores If you work on pigmented leather, use leather paint instead of dye.
      The most important thing is that you prep the surface perfectly.
      Normally, protectors increase rub and wet resistance.
      Trust me their products are great. Just do as what they say.

    • @Minkyu85
      @Minkyu85 5 років тому

      Mayra Flores purchase their paint if your leather is in black. Otherwise you need to be able to make colors you need.
      Acetone, cleaner, leather paint, protector and filler are what you need.
      I recommend you call them for more info.

    • @Minkyu85
      @Minkyu85 5 років тому

      Mayra Flores I live in Korea so you cannot purchase products that I use. If you are interested in repairing steering wheel, visit my youtube channel. I recently uploaded the video. That might give you an idea.
      But everything is in Korean.

    Acetone and paint thinner work faster to remove all that. Saves time. Results are just as good.

    • @4orrcountry
      @4orrcountry 3 роки тому +1

      Faster? Probably. Just as good long term? Man I doubt it. Acetone and paint thinner are harsh and carcinogenic - I'll stick with the kit.

  • @RobinsM
    @RobinsM 5 років тому +8

    I like your stuff but its just way too expensive. The small kit came up to over $130 that's just nuts I was expecting $50-$70 for a base kit for that price might as well just have a professional do it.

    • @cassiellightman
      @cassiellightman 5 років тому +2

      You don't need the kit, you can fix the seat with other materials from different brands. This guy uploaded an infomercial for that fix kit not an open tutorial.

      @@dwightpositivevibesmonach3727 Lol..Caulk? are you kidding me?..caulk damage the leather at the long turn.. Did you know what a faux leather compound is?..Do NOT post things that you don't know. Did you know what happens when you mix acrylic paint+water+caulk?..why you don't make a video on those materials and try it in your leather seats!
