Thanks for doing test fuel consumption test. I find it hard to believe when I read Perodua claim 22km/l on this car. Found your video which shows it far from being claimed. Keep up the good work!
wow that's a fantastic results i seen this car everywhere right now some of them are top-of-the-range av variant for us we planning this soon but i love this d27a alza
Actually the power not too bad considered that it is MPV. It is surprise that the cabin noise level of new Alza is even quieter than the City and Vios.
Alza, B segment NVH 68dB brings shame to D segment Accord and Passat. Both in spite of being about twice more expensive NVH is 69dB. Honda and Volkswagen should be ashamed at this. Even say C segment Corolla Cross manages 66dB. Toyota is really excellent in sound insulation. Perodua kan is following Toyota. Good for Alza.
Fellow car enthusiasts, I have a question here. Can anyone explain why d mode in a CVT transmission gives faster acceleration compared to s mode? I thought s mode holds the car at low gear ratios and higher rpm for more torque?
S mode in here makes the CVT transmission perform like a normal automatic (bringing the revs down at certain RPM) which disturbs the linear acceleration and hurt the 0-100 time. But in other cases, S mode holds the RPM higher and does not imitate automatic transmission. It may vary depending on which car model though
@@Has7DCT Thanks for your reply. I think it really depends on what car. ua-cam.com/video/Dk05WlCSXgk/v-deo.html this video also shows d is faster than s. I guess s is better for steep hills not for acceleration.
S here means Slope mode. Not Sport. So should only be used when driving uphill or downhill. Power drive mode is the one that should be used when you want faster acceleration
@@aimanfitri0iv sokay i got it now. A thorough review by wapcar. It seems it is noisier than this early test. 62 db at 60, 68 db at 90 & 70 db at 110 km/h. That's noisier than Xpander but about as quiet as the Aruz & Ativa & quieter than BRV. Not bad.

Can someone test some hypermiling numbers? Or like highway 100% doing. Maybe 100kmh on slow Lane type. Petrol may get expensive and this might help consumer. Also, do a highway only test vs a hybrid, we know hybrid doesn't get as much benefit on highway like in the city. Might be useful info.
0-100 13s. this car should be banned from fast lane. Fuel consumption is even worse. 8L/100?! That's like D segment SUV. Is perodua sabotaging this car to promote future cars?
D segment SUV fuel consumption can achieve 8L/100 in mix city and highway drive? I bet you must be dreaming. Even if C segment SUV it is common achieve 10L/100km, don't trust the official number as it always give lowest number. Do join the Alza group and you may find there are owners driving full load mix driving achieve 500km per 35L fuel. This is good fuel consumption compare to most MPV or even the B segment SUV.

6:01 that's amazing considering the price point they still managed to give a premium feel in a form of good noise level in the price range it's in

Gc mah presentation style 👍👍
Yeaaaa totally agree with you on this
Adik GC mah ni.. Sejibik!
excellent presentation. terbaik Wap Car!! keep it up..
For the fuel consumption actually u get better than that with the right eco-driving style.. I even reached 17km/liter with my new Perodua Alza 2023
You are based on the meters reading which is not accurate.
That Old Horse @ Kuda Tua -Pencen Exora still the Champion...Cehhh..!!
exoro makan minyak, body heavy
At least the result of 0-100 and 100-0 is better than some other youtuber trying to brush off the test result.
🤭 anyway, good work !
Damn, fuel consumption so much difference from claimed. Can I sue Perodua for fake advertising?

What's the noise level at 60 & 90 km/h? U forgot to include those.
