This is why I keep a come along in my winter vehicle... If I get in a ditch and there's anything solid around, we're going home. It's an unstoppable tool with pulleys and ropes.
Oh I love it, I had my fair share of wtf was I thinking moments... I'm 37 and it still happens lol .... The wife does a good job at reminding me of my faults. Good friggin job bud at working the 12 valve out.
I used a come along that’s what we call that in my territory. I got my Wrangler buried in the mud one time and cranked it out by hand. They come in handy.
This was enjoyed my friend. I once woke up early and got my 2 wheel drive truck stuck on a beaver run. Took me all morning and used a pair of old jeans under the back tires for traction to get myself out. That elk hunt was interesting to say the least. Digging truck tires out with a crow bar sucks i also know. Thanks for sharing brother.
Josh, you had me laughing really hard as you took a beating from the same guy who drove into the bog. Hell, we all been there and done that.. Keep on keeping on as your a winner in my book
Been there done that. I used to trap bobcats in a very remote spot here in Idaho. I sunk a gmc to the frame. Used my handyman to get the truck high enough to shove rocks under for traction. There wasn't rock left in sight because I used them all to build a "road" out. Must have looked like ancient road from the sky...lol. And then there was the time a snow cat had to pull me out....and then there was the time I walked out to the highway to catch a ride (pre cell phone). I soon after bought a winch. Best of luck to ya this winter.
Yeah, please rest when you're sick or just plain exhausted from overwork. You are young and tough and smart but you're not immortal! 😊 You'll accomplish more and be happier with your results if you take whatever precautions you need to take. I love your channel and admire you and your work, my friend!
12Valve just loyal as can be!! I feel like all us Canadian fellas in the bush have all done some dumb shit. Comes with the territory I figure where Safety Second is way of life. All the best to ya.
You need a set of chains and you would have got right out. They work great on ice. When you were pulling with your come a long you should have put in reverse it would have pulled twice as easy if it’s automatic of course. I always tell people you can eventually dig yourself out it just may take some time. Been there done that.
I would install cheap 12k winch in front or make hitch plate for winch so you can put it in front or back. You had some good anchor points there with all the trees. Had a few occasions like this in past with my truck. After i slapped winch on it, I never got stuck again. Nice video, keep up good work!💪🤘
When shit goes south, we can always count on Trapline and Inlines to logic his way to a successful ending while making a fantastic video on how get unstuck. Merry Christmas to you and your family! Stay Safe My Friend.
Good video young fella! You sure got the Dodge augured in there pretty good, but found the way out! These are the times you need all the tools, rope, cables, trees, come-alongs that you bought. Stay safe and warm! 😀
One wonders if the Egyptians used a come-a-long to move them blocks? LOL...well done use of simple tools to get a massive singular-person project done!
Your learning from the school of hard knocks. Many have learned there lessons this way including me! Over the years ive learned to stop and think about what could go wrong if i do this act. It really helps and sometimes can save you much labor and rework. Your young, strong, intelligent and highly ambitious. Once you learn to use a bit more caution and stop and think things over you will be unstoppable.
I was checking traps yesterday and buried the quad in a swamp that I thought was solid ice. I got it out this Am with a portable chainsaw winch. WE LIVE, WE LEARN, WE PERSEVERE!!! Then we do it all over again!!! 😅
air your tires down to 20psi and you will crawl right out. i have the same dodge you have but on 35 inch tires and i keep air compressor with me and i crawl through 2ft of snow no problem with 20psi
ropes and pulleys are indeed one of the greatest things to learn how to use properly. They are so versatile, I do a lot of motorcycle trips in remote areas, always carry a rope and two pulleys with me, just makes light work of so many heavy tasks.
Good job getting the truck out. Also, I'm pleased to see that you were smart enough to attach to the receiver on the tow hitch, and not the ball. Because if the threaded stem on that ball breaks under tension, as they do sometimes, it's coming right at you like a missile! Rock on.
Great video. I love the honesty. A young man can out work an old timer in the short haul. An old timer can out work a young man in long run. Ambition vs experience; it’s a balance. No one has 100% of both. Stay safe and don’t get hurt as you gain experience.
What a great surprise to see a video from ya. Sorry you had such a challenge on your hands, but as usual you're able to get yourself out of it. Love the channel. Really looking forward to seeing the progress your making on the new home site. Best wishes as always, Deb
Hey , just chock this one up to pure entertainment for the viewers! Its been a bit since we've seen you under the Twelver in the middle of F knows where . My old man used to say anyone can get in a mess , it's not everyone that can get THEMSELF out of a mess!!! Nice recovery young man .
Hey, buddy, love how you try reasoning things out! Just a suggestion here find a 10-15k lb winch and mount it on a cradle that fits a class 3 hitch. You could have gotten the truck out with a little less effort.
I'm def no bush expert. I do know... whenever you are winching... it's wise to throw something to weigh the line down headed towards your body down... in case whatever you are anchored too lets go... It would be tragic you have a chunk of something fly towards you and possibly end your bush life. Stay safeish out there. Great video!
You got it man. As some of the other comments said, you’re not the first nor the last. I can’t believe some of the precarious stuff I put myself through in the manufacturing world to get the job done. Deep breaths and re-evaluating are hard at first but help. Keep on keepin on!
Love your videos and the fact that you keep it real is awesome! We’ve all been there and cursed a few times but carry on! Stay safe and healthy and hopefully you have time to get some hoodies out because my husband loves your channel and is driving me crazy to get one!!
Really no substitute for learning stuff the hard way! Next time this happens you'll be an off-grid genius. Winches and come-a-longs are invaluable. Suggestion - Even your hand winch can be powered by lithium powered drill or impact driver if you remove handle.
I can totally relate to the mind wandering off.... Happens to me all the time.. Had a treestand accident because of It.. Great video and great innovation to get it out!! And you did learn from this whether you know it or not.
I never enjoy you or anyone having tough luck. You really couldn't know what was under the ice . I do enjoy the ingenuity you come up with to overcome a problem. You are as smart as you are tough. I can only be jealous and envious while I hope it all works out with you safe and happy. You are for sure a bush man, no one would deny that. Don't work when you are sick. Good video. Pax.
Your self-deprecating humor is hilarious 😂! Glad you figured things out & helped get yourself removed from the mess. Attacking winter tundra with a crowbar while flinging cut wood like frisbees does not appear to be a good time... unless you're a deranged beaver :)
I love your other projects, but I had you in my top 3 trappers. Are you gonna give us more trapping videos. Your up there with Andrew and 330 maniac! I know you explained that you filmed all you could about the Coyotes but it never gets old for us. I love trapping and i go everyday ! Please tell me you did not lose your passion for it. Fuck the prices lol
Great video. You mentioned you had a 2 to 1 advantage pulling your truck. With one pulley it is 1 to 1. No advantage the way it was rigged. You would need 2 pulleys for a 2 to 1 advantage. ( I had to research to know this)
Hey great vid because your way out in the bush buy one of those trackers and clip it on your jacket and put the app for it on your mom or dad's phone so they can find you in the bush if your not back at a certain time In case you get hurt or something they can find you so you don't freeze 😉
Did something very similar when I was around your age. I used a handy man jack and cut some posts chained them together so the tires wouldn't slip off of them then backed out 4 foot at a time until I was out of the bog. Took 7 hours and I was a long long ways from anywhere so I had to get it out, much to far to walk and way to cold.
A good highlift jack is REAL handy too! Y’all probably call them something else up there. Lol
This is why I keep a come along in my winter vehicle... If I get in a ditch and there's anything solid around, we're going home. It's an unstoppable tool with pulleys and ropes.
I absolutely love this guy
my fellow Saskatchewanite...lol
Thumbs up for all the hard work
Life is an endless puzzle. Sometimes we’re stumped. Litter the bush with pulleys and winches. Might as well toss in a beer or two. Merry Christmas 🎄
AND GOD BLESS YOU, FROM UK
Oh I love it, I had my fair share of wtf was I thinking moments... I'm 37 and it still happens lol .... The wife does a good job at reminding me of my faults. Good friggin job bud at working the 12 valve out.

One of your best videos!!
Someone get this kid a full set of v-bar chains for the old shipping crate
Been there done that. I used to trap bobcats in a very remote spot here in Idaho. I sunk a gmc to the frame. Used my handyman to get the truck high enough to shove rocks under for traction. You need trackers. Best gift I ever got?
That poor Cummins has such a hard life lol. What a loyal old girl.
Stay safe and warm, and thanks for another video.
One of the best lessons is learning that we should know better.
Part Bushman Part Engineer. Be safe buds. Love your videos as always.
Ha , had my keep stuck in the ditch for 4 months, waiting for the snow to melt, snow was six feet deep.
Adapt, nice work!
"It's like FUCK I knew better" Who of us hasn't said that before!! Love ya and wish you the best!!!!!
Your blatant fucking honesty is awesome. Please never lose that!
Good stuff Mon. Thanks Fer da content !
Love your channel, you mess up give yourself crap then figure it out and solve it. Your the best 😃👍👍👍👍👍
Yeah, please rest when you're sick or just plain exhausted from overwork. fawk that bud rest when you're in your late 30s and on
Great job on figuring a way out of that slough, and of course it all gave us a mint video. 👍
A good ol warn 10k winch is even better. Gotta have a winch for the bush bro! I got tired of jacking and digging, let the winch do the work!
I love how you poke fun at yourself. be safe
Be a little more careful sure don't want to lose you I think we all love you 🤗😘
12Valve just loyal as can be!! I feel like all us Canadian fellas in the bush have all done some dumb shit. Comes with the territory I figure where Safety Second is way of life. All the best to ya.
Unforeseen problems and their solutions make us into strong men in the end. Nice work
Great job getting her out! Jacking it up seems to be the ticket.
Awesome/funny video, love your attitude.
Couple traction mats would've come in handy.Enjoy your videos. Be safe and take care of yourself.
Yep I keep 2’ Long pieces of expanded metal grating in my truck for getting out,,, but never stand behind them case they can rocket right out
Reminds of of my teenage years and to think we used to go out and intentionally get stuck.. lol
Lol yeah I shake my head thinking about how I used to do that for fun 😅 😂
You need a set of chains and you would have got right out. They work great on ice. When you were pulling with your come a long you should have put in reverse it would have pulled twice as easy if it’s automatic of course. God bless Kyle, the coolest, most talented, hard working bushman! Aeh

Glad everything worked out for you. Thanks for sharing.
That's what makes Your channel so d*** good. You take chances It's how we learn.
When shit goes south, we can always count on Trapline and Inlines to logic his way to a successful ending while making a fantastic video on how get unstuck. Merry Christmas to you and your family! Stay Safe My Friend.
This guy needs his own television show. Maybe a couple of movies.
You're very resourceful, I love your channel and can't wait to see you build your home. Stay safe though..
Good video young fella! You sure got the Dodge augured in there pretty good, but found the way out! These are the times you need all the tools, rope, cables, trees, come-alongs that you bought. Stay safe and warm! 😀
Glad you made it out safe and glad you got the truck out
Hello boys and girls watching from the uk 🇬🇧 👍👍👍👍

You said it all buddy, what can I say … you figured it out. Be safe !
Glad you got your truck out 👍. What a mess. 😳

I absolutely love any and all videos you throw at us thanks
Dad always had a come-along when we headed deep in the ❄️ 🏔
My grandparents recommended this channel 😂 so far I'm loving this video, got a subscribe from me 🤘🏼
When you don't rest your immune system suffers a lot same with mood ect. Love the videos, remember always take care of yourself first!
Glad your feeling better 😊
That was quite the process! Glad you got it out! Good luck with everything my friend!
air your tires down to 20psi and you will crawl right out. i have the same dodge you have but on 35 inch tires and i keep air compressor with me and i crawl through 2ft of snow no problem with 20psi

Least you got her out. God bless
you really are one of a kind :) heres to many more journeys with you
Good work. Your honest helps with your success.
Always great seeing a new vid! That 12 valve is just a BEAST!
Good job getting the truck out. Also, I'm pleased to see that you were smart enough to attach to the receiver on the tow hitch, and not the ball. Because if the threaded stem on that ball breaks under tension, as they do sometimes, it's coming right at you like a missile! Rock on.

Good job figuring a way out. You are a resourceful young man. I'm glad I get to watch you grow your channel.
All good man! We've all learned along the way!
What a great surprise to see a video from ya. Sorry you had such a challenge on your hands, but as usual you're able to get yourself out of it. Love the channel. Really looking forward to seeing the progress your making on the new home site. Best wishes as always, Deb
Love your channel young fella
Man, we all gotta go through these things before we learn better. Just life. Awesome job digging out the truck, though - Stay safe, brother!
Shit man you might get in a bind but it's a blast watching you get out of it. You are one rock hard choochin stud. Love your stuff

A cheap harbor freight winch looking pretty good right now 😋

This brings back memories of me and and my good buddy Joel who also follows this channel. Love the videos, man!
You are a hard worker, good luck to ya!
Kyle great video as always but man when your body tells you to rest please make sure you listen ❤️🇨🇦
I can totally relate to the mind wandering off.... Happens to me all the time.. Had a treestand accident because of It..
Great video and great innovation to get it out!! And you did learn from this whether you know it or not.
Good to see your still kicking wild man..lol enjoyed it lol

your the man , but with your way with words i have no doubt you cudda talked your way out of that mess and been home for supper
Nice work with the pulleys. Also u can Air down your tires to 5 or 10 psi . More rubber to the ground.
I just love how you analyze yourself. Mary Christmas 🙏🏽👍✌🏻🇺🇸
Great guy. I’d love to meet ya one day. Seriously looking forward to buying some nice hoodies when you get shipping figured out for the states.
Awesome video my brother
Awesome video man!!!
Joy to Bushcamping
Working through setbacks is like scratching an itch. Annoying at first but so satisfying when you figure a solution.
Merry Xmas man thank you for such a wonderful time watching you and learning so much stay safe and have a great new year can't wait to see you again
Your accent is gold and I'm from Mississippi 😂

Got to be careful out in the bush by yourself 💯💯💯💯💯👍🏽
I stumbled upon your videos a few weeks back, and my dude, they are great. Envious of the life you have out there!
