ACER H6510BD Replace Projector Bulb, 5 Minutes Easy

Bulb was OK but image had dust spots from house renovations. Easy to remove bulb (one screw), and then clean out majority of dust. Image has less dust spots now that bulb and bulb glass are cleaned.

Dude. If you call your video "Replace Projector Bulb..." then you need to actually show how to replace the bulb in the video, not just assume people know how to do it.

@@ml414skidoo Yes, I said this in my other comment. To actually replace the bulb you have to remove six more screws and two plates to get it out of its housing, then put in the new bulb and put all the screws and two plates back in. It's not just a matter of popping it out like a normal light bulb.

I would NOT recommend using air duster. This is likely to push some dust on your sensor and to provoke a dark spot on your projected image! Gentle usage of a vacuum cleaner would be much better.

Also, it's really not that quick and easy to actually replace the bulb. Sure, you can pull it out easily, but actually swapping it requires removing at least five more tiny screws to get it out of the housing. You should try actually doing it before telling people it takes five minutes.

I did this and now the keystone on my projector is permanently out of focus. Anyone have any advice?

When it burns out and not until then. You can get one shipped in a few days at the most so use it until full life not when the projector estimates it might be ready to burn out. Post your own vidoe if this is terrible ... or not. No one's going to change my world
