THANK YOU!!! I have the H6510bd which is quite similar except the focus ring is different and now my picture is totally clean and clear again! An other video the guy disassembled the whole thing and just cleaned a side part near the colorwheel which doesn‘t help.. this video did the job - thank you so much 🙌🏼
Cleaning off the dust particles that stick to the DLP chip is not so complicated. When you turn the video projector on with no signal and you adjust the focus a bit differently, you see the dust particles in full focus)... I have to do this every half year or so... Just using the vacuum to suck in the particles of the DLP chip does not work... you have to use a soft pain brush... I would not use any wet stuff on the glass surface of the chip... probably leaves some residue etc. I postet this because the other guides to clean DLP chips make you disassemble the whole optical parts... which is a heck of a work. My way is 10 times easier... and 10x faster.
Hallo Matthias, tolles Video ! Ich würde gerne meinen alten acer x1340wh Beamer auch wieder auf Vordermann bringen und ihn reinigen wie Du. Ich traue es mir nur nicht wirklich zu .... Hast Du noch eventuell Tips für mich ? Kann etwas kaputt gehen wenn ich mich ungeschickt anstelle? Gruß Kai
Die Plastikgewinde brechen gerne ab... aber das Ding ist an so vielen Stellen zusammengeklipst, dass man eigentlich die Schrauben gar nicht braucht... ich würde sagen: eine sehr einfache Sache die Reinigung. Aber es ist schon nervig wie brutal man die Plastikverkleidungsteile lösen muß
when you mount the top cover (see at 4:05ff) a switch is pressed down... without that cover (and the little peg that presses the switch down) the projector will not start... that is the only thing that I can think of

My projector doesnt want to turn on after this.. what could possibly go wrong?

Nein... die ist noch hell genug nach 2000 Std. Ich hab den Lampentimer zurückgesetzt
Ich hab die testweise mal ausgebaut... und die Kühlluftkanäle gereinigt... hat jetzt ca 4000 Stunden gehalten die Lampe
