In the end I did not change it, I disassembled it to know the model to buy. I cleaned the contacts and when I put it back together it started to work properly. @@fantasticofficecollection7742 what was wrong with it that made you take it apart and clean it? Mine suddenly has a whole bunch of black pixels out of nowhere. Assuming the DMD chip crapped out.
@@grumpyssandbox8363 This projector started out with a few gray pixels, then went on to have the entire screen mottled gray. Disassemble the DMD to make a note of the model and purchase one. but when remounting the old DMD, it started to work. I guess the problem might be dirt on the DMD contact. or a bad contact. Another projector that I disassembled had a dust problem on the lenses, ua-cam.com/video/z38lDFdq4Wc/v-deo.html For what you tell me it seems a problem of burned pixels in the DMD, but I also thought that my DMD is broken and I was wrong. luck.
@@fantasticofficecollection7742 I cleaned the socket and reseated the DMD chip a few times but had no luck. Perfect square dead pixels all over the screen =\. Will see if I can get a replacement. Thanks for the video though, I followed along to make sure I didn't mess up on reassembly.
