How To Replace A Projector Lamp-Epson PowerLite 97H

- In this video, I show you how to replace a projector lamp on the Epson PowerLite 97H. It is a very simple process, and only involves removing 3 screws. The first screw that you loosen will allow you to remove the cover from the Epson projector, and the next 2 screws that you remove will allow you to actually remove the old lamp. The process for putting in the new lamp is basically the opposite of the process for removing the old one.

I have an epson 2150 that I’ve owned for 4-5 years and today I noticed the lamp led flashing so I guess it’s almost time to change the bulb. I don’t have the manual so wasn’t sure how to do the install but this is great and a lot easier than I thought it’d be when I purchased it, I thought it might be a bit of a hassle and I’d have to find someone to do it. Thanks for this confidence booster!
Very helpful! Thank you manage to change my lamp successfully
Thanks, Helpful DIY. I was searching for the Epson ELPLP and bumped into your video. It had all the instructions I needed. Thanks for it...
Thank you very much. This was very helpful.
Thank you
Perfect. Easy peasy
Only half the info I was looking for, thanks any way. ✌🏽
This guys speaks nicely
Do you know how to remove the cover? My daughter dropped it and while it still works, the front of the cover pulled away as did some "guts" that are keeping it from snapping back
Question, as I can'tfind much online.
I got an Epson PowerLite Home Cinema705HD. Mounted on the ceiling. I use it to play video games and it worked great for months. But like three days ago it has just been instantly shutting off as I turn my games on then the lamp light begins to blink/flicker oranage.
I just need to replace the lamp right or is there another issue? Can I install a new lamp in it while ceiling mounted so long as everything is unplugged?
Thank you!
Where did you get the replacement parts from.
I googled Epson Lamps..look for your Lamp number
This projector gets the job done pretty well. ua-cam.com/users/postUgkxS9P8zTOcmQg-hH0QeUi3dspOLyYgQ6dH Bear in mind it's a mini projector but all things considered the picture quality is pretty good. The attached photo is of the projector projecting onto my white closet doors. I still have not messed with the settings but I can't wait for our first family movie night on a larger scale. If you have issues with volume not working with your firestick, go into volume settings and you will find your solution there.
Nice !
You should think about acting in movies or doing cartoon voice overs.
I immediately thought of Kermit! It’s such a cute voice!
I have hitachi cpx 4015 wn projector it shows pendrive all files audio files plays smoothly but when i click on the video it open same screen again. not playing video
Nice. Thank you.
Is the lamp the same as bulb? I need to know what to order through my school budget secretary. Thank you.
Yes lamp or bulb means the same thing.
Make sure that you have definitely got the right bulb for your model of projector!
What I can do mine turn off after 1 hour and I have to reset it , anything I can do ?
Great video
I replace the bulb exactly how you said and it works now but the little Orange light that flashes that says the lamp needs to be replaced again is still showing even though it's still working fine now. Is there something I have to do to reset that?
not sure if it's too late or not but, you have to reset the lamp hours etc. ( in settings).
Same thing happened to me! Did you find out how to reset it?
Reset lamp hours in the info section in the settings
another new lamp would last 4-5000hrs?
When I tried to replace it just made a loud noise
I was inserting the new lamp and the cover will not go on and the lamp is stuck in the projector.
Christopher I’m sorry
New messenger please
