wow a actual youtuber who just gets to the point gets to the tools gets to the work im so tired of digging for 6.0 powerstroke videos that are 40 minutes long for absolutly no reason
Thank you Gods. Every other video said to remove the intake and the FICM. I'm glad I continued looking for more information.
Really enjoying your videos mate. Found this one really informative!
You just saved me so much of a headache! Thanks man!
Direct, to the point, and well done! Thank you from one RV'er to another. Running a 6.0 which is acting up. Hoping ICP sensor replacement resolves my issue. Subscribed.
Glad to be of help. I hope that it fixed your issue. if it didn't feel free to comment back and maybe i have gone through a similar issue with our truck.
Following up, due to your ICP sensor video, I took the plunge and gambled this would resolve my issue. My mechanic, whom I had a lot of confidence with (past tense), did not believe this was the issue. It was, and you gave me the knowledge to easily swap it out. Back to running like new (140k). Thanks again!
@@artstent8920 Glad to be of assistance.
Thanks, short, sweet and to the point.
Thank you. I found mine with a lose connection. You helped me to figure out what the ICP was.
Great video Andy! 👍😎
You sir are a good sir. Thank you 🤝
Awesome info!
Very informative
Great video, thanks!
Great video. I have an 04' hope I got that style, the other one seems like a pain. BTW: Nice video to the point and concise.
I have the 2004 F250 as well. Code indicates its the ICP. Did you do the work yourself?
Just fixed this issue on my 06, thanks for the help! Crazy how such a simple problem and fix can cause so many issues
Glad we could help. You see lots of videos on how to do the 2003 version but none for the newer models.
@@littlervbiglife1545 thank you. Just replaced my icp on my 06 f350 6.0L
I will hope and prey 🙏
Also how I can check to see if it is my sensor or anything else. I do have a pressure gauge in the truck and it goes halfway up, I don't know if that tells you anything but maybe it will. Thank you again!
Hi Andy, What can I use to pull the error codes? Can you recommend a diagnostics tool ?
New to the channel
Hey buddy did you get your charge pipes on Amazon. Bought an 07 and it has the same color pipes as you, came from Amazon? One of them doesn't fit very good
Where’d you get your cac piping!? Did you get them powder coated yourself?
Do you have the link for earlier models I can’t find it…..
I have an '03 6 l and I'm getting a return on a tester from the parts store saying that my injection control pressure sensor is bad. Do you have a video on that sir And if you do could you please share it with me. I would truly appreciate it. Just in case, there's a bunch of removal of stuff where are you located I'm in Waukesha Wisconsin. I'm sure you're not in my neighborhood but I would truly appreciate the video sir! Thank you and have a good day!
My 6.0 die while driving now will only crank but not start. The icp is little wet with oil wondering if that's what's wrong with it
What size socket plz
Will a icp sensor cause my truck to go dead while driving?
What is the Torque Spec?
So was this the prob to your truck or not
What's the socket size
Just found this video. I’m hoping this fixes the issue on my ‘05. It showed low oil pressure and quit. Crank no start now. It seems to be building low oil pressure as it’s filling the oil filter canister. I changed the drain back valve because the oil was draining with the plunger closed. Fixed that but still no start.
Did it work?
My 04 powerstroke isn't throwing any dash lights but engine idles rough/uneven, poor acceleration and stalls. Pleeeeaaasseee heeeeeeelp!!
Show tests for high pressure oil pump
Will do! Have been chasing an issue after replacing the turbo. I think it's the VGT but will be doing some tests to check everything.
I wish it was that easy on a van
Can you show hoop test or where I can find it thank you
Absolutely! I believe I refer to it's location in my turbo removal video, But I will make a dedicated video to test it also.
Ipr is what's behind the turbo. If that's bad you'll have a no start
What did it sound like before and after?
It sounded normal, but wasn't running right. There was also a check engine light that came up.
Started having an issue with my 2005 f250 6.0L got the code p2262...no boost pressure detected, thoughts?
If your boost gauge (manual gauge) is reading boost I would say it would be an issue with the MAP sensor. If it doesn't read any pressure than I would check all the intercooler connections. I used to blow the lower passenger side one all the time. If you don't have a manual gauge still check those things it's just harder to diagnose. I also have a leak test video. I talk about replacing a hose going to the MAP sensor in that video if you cant find where it's at. ua-cam.com/video/XNIKmnHlo7k/v-deo.html
@@littlervbiglife1545 ill check that out, thanks!!
Did this fix your issue, you said maybe it will maybe it won't. But never said if it did.
My truck is leaking oil from that censor would replacing it fix that issue
There is a seal under the sensor that may be leaking. The new sensor should come with a seal, or you can just try the seal too.
I have the same issue leaking oil from this sensor. I think the leak is between the sensor and valve cover. Any ideas? thank you
can anyone help me? I replaced my icp, now I'm getting the p2289 code (oil pressure high) truck runs fine. I'm just stumped
I would go after the IPR valve next. the screen inside of it is likely clogged.
Hey Andy,
Was gone thru this winter and my 04 6.0 F350 wasn't being used during really cold temps, Ie: below zero. Got home and had a crank no start scenario. Checked my codes and found a P2289. key off. Unplugged the sensor and the truck fires right up, plug the sensor back in while its running and it runs for a bit and starts to skip a beat and eventually stalls out. So new sensor on the way. Bad sensor I presume. Do you concur? I just used torque pro, didn't plug in my forscan to check the voltage.
jon
Sounds Like what my truck was doing. A new OEM one cured the issue.
@@littlervbiglife1545 Some follow up for you, I ran the truck without the sensor plugged in for 3 days while I wait for your recommended part. Truck started ok ran ok. Installed the new sensor, had to purchase a 24 mm socket, as the old sensor was 22 mm. Trucks starts immediately now and operates better than I can remember for quite sometime. I'm thinking the old sensor may have been an incorrect part, or faulty when I replaced it 3 years ago. Anyway thanks for your post and reply. I'm a subscriber of yours now. Thanks again and take care and be safe in this weirdness going on around us. Peace..
@@captbad9313 Thank you for the update! It's great to hear that I was able to help someone out.
@@littlervbiglife1545 your part number was key. Thank you
Why didnt you replace the pig tail connector?
It was in good condition. Splicing wires can cause bigger issues sometimes, than having an old connector.
I like to see Those Tess
Where u get the red pipes from
Amazon. www.amazon.com/Mophorn-Turbo-Intercooler-03-07-Powerstroke/dp/B07DZZCTRJ/ref=sr_1_1?dchild=1&keywords=6.0+turbo+pipes&qid=1588374570&sr=8-1

Now the intake pipe i did need to open up the MAF port a bit to be able to have it fit.
Torque specs are for dummies I guess eh!
