He got it! That makes reax channels 3-for-179 when it comes to getting the reveal in real time at the end of the song! There should be balloons falling from the freakin' rafters! I had faith.
I know right? It's really strange how they completely miss the point of this song. It seems pretty straight forward & i can't remember any other song that causes so many disappointing reactions. I really don't get it. This is one of the best country songs ever written, sang by one of the best country artists to ever live. 😕☹😞
Randy Travis- Forever and Ever Amen. Another great singer, Brad Paisley, Whiskey Lullaby and I'm Gonna Miss Her When She's Gone (The Fishing song). Love your reactions.
So glad you understood the song :) I loved it when he sang it’s not what you take when you leave this world behind you, it’s what you leave behind you when you go. What a GREAT message. Everyone needs to listen to this😊 Great reaction 🎉
I absolutely LOVE this song! It has a few great messages: 1) Tomorrow's never promised, so live for today. 2) Never judge someone for what they are, do don't know what they'll become. 3) Remember, for all we work in this life, we can't take any of our physical stuff with us, our legacy is what we leave behind. It was so sad when Randy suffered his stroke. I think it must be harder for him, since, when looking in his face and eyes, you can see his mind is still there, and he remembers what it was he used to do and love.
Just found ur channel and subbed because u r 1 of the few people who do reaction videos who really listened to this song and got it.....the chorus about it not being what u take when u leave this world behind u but what u leave behind u when u go really foretells the outcome of the accident...the farmer left his farm and the love of farming in his son's heart, the teacher left the knowledge in the minds of the students she taught, the preacher left a different path for the hooker and a changed life, not just for her but all the others he saved and ministered to. The hooker had only lived a life that she found fulfillment in, never really having a meaningful impact until the accident later having a son who she read the Bible to, who became a preacher himself....thus fulfilling her life's plan and leaving behind a son she raised to be a man of God.
This is a song that tells us that no one is beyond the reach of God. As Christians we spread the Word of God not knowing how it may impact somebody’s life for Him. This simple gesture of handing a woman of ill repute a Bible led her to raising a son who would go on to leading others to Christ.
A little known or requested song, 'The Box'. How you take it can depend on your relationship with your father, but it's so very special in so many ways. Not one of his hits but it is so special. 💓
Thank you so much for going down the Randy Travis Rabbit hole! 😍 He is my favorite male vocalist of all time! I'll recommend my favorite songs - not all billboard hits, but incredible songs I think you'll love - in order of recommendation: Promises He Walked On Water Spirit Of A Boy Wisdom Of A Man Thirteen Mile Goodbye A Little Left Of Center Don't Ever Sell Your Saddle Stranger in My Mirror I'm Still Here You're Still Gone Once You've Heard The Truth I also love his gospel (although I'm in the wrong religion): Shallow Water Baptism The Carpenter Drive Another Nail Doctor Jesus I Put my Feet on the Rock Take your pic 😁
When Randy lived in Santa Fe, he came down to perform gospel songs at our church's Easter Sunrise Services in Albuquerque. It was always a blessing to have him & his band with us.
I heard him sing Amazing grace after he'd recovered a bit. I don't expect him to tour anymore because of the other complications that went with it, but I'm glad he's still got a voice to sing with, and who knows he may write some more stuff for people. He was always fantastic at that too. Tim Foust reminds me quite a bit of him when he goes full on country boy :) and I'm sure there's a whole lot of singers that have similar quality because of how much he inspires people. :)
Yeahhhh.....thanks. I recommend forever and ever, amen by randy Travis and little girl by John Michael Montgomery. I appreciate you doing it and just love your channel
It's amazing how this song is touching you. No dancing half naked on the stage, no fancy video, nothing, just a man, the band, simple music and great lyrics.
Deeper Than The Holler is one of my favorite Randy songs. You might also look into I'm No Stranger To The Rain by Keith Whitley, who was part of Vince Gill's inspiration to write Go Rest High On That Mountain.
The timbre of his rich baritone voice is unparalleled. My favorite Randy Travis songs are Reasons I Cheat; Promises; Take Another Swing At Me; This is Me; Look Heart, No Hands; Spirit of a Boy, Wisdom of a Man; That’s Where I Draw the Line; I Told You So; The Box; He Walked On Water; Three Wooden Crosses; Hard Rock Bottom of Your Heart; It’s Just a Matter of Time; On the Other Hand; and Forever and Ever Amen.
Dang. Your set-up and camera quality looks much improved.. Also surprised that you haven't done a Randy Travis song throughout all of your country reactions. He's got some great ones. Two of my personal favorites are "Promises" and "I Told You So." Carrie Underwood even did a duet of "I Told You So" with Randy when she was a contestant on American Idol. Then Carrie eventually recorded that song, both as a duet and as a single. Of course it sounds amazing as well. On the American Idol performance, Randy didn't seem to be in very good shape, so his performance wasn't the best there. Sad that he's unable to sing after the stroke he had.
Got you a like and subscribe here. Grateful to see a young youtuber reacting to good music. Can you react to Future Days by Pearl Jam? I think its a beautiful song. I catch myself singing it in the shower when my mind is clear. Thanks have a great day!
i have always loved Randy, i've always said he could sing the telephone book and i'd listen! his gospel music has always been my favorite. he does a great version of Swing Down Chariot you might like since you did the other reaction on that song the other day. loved your smile when you understood the story, it is definitely one of those "aha" songs
I think one of the biggest things people miss about this story is the time-line. God's plan wasn't revealed for many many years. Sometimes when things happen, regardless of how tragic they may be, something good comes from it. It may take time, but remember we are only here for a little while.
I second Martina McBride, "A Broken Wing," "Independence Day," and "Concrete Angel" are unforgettable (the last one will likely need tissues). Another unforgettable experience with an amazing female country singer would be Joey Feek singing "When I'm Gone."
He is from North Carolina like myself. I was invited to a BBQ by my manager at work years ago. I got there & I was told that I missed him and his wife by a few minutes. He married my manager’s cousin. They told me that they had told them that they something to do but then it was canceled. That’s just my luck. lol
Every song recorded depends on great writers, great singers, with a great fit. But just as important is the people that produce the music. The producers and session people. Try doing a couple of instrumental pieces. Some will blow your mind. Try Doyle DVD Dykes, Jimmy Capps, and of course Jerry Reed Chet and Atkins and that is. Just the finger pickers. Try Floyd Cramer on piano, Last Date is his biggest hit. Then for straight guitar try Glen Campbell. For comedy with huge talent try Jim Stafford. I know that is
I think he missed the point, the gift the preacher gave the hooker changed her life and shaped her child's life. If this one got you going try Randy Travis's "Angel's" Beware though, I've seen Angel's bring some of the toughest men I've ever known to tears!
You got it! So many people don’t. 😉🙏🏻✔️
He got it! That makes reax channels 3-for-179 when it comes to getting the reveal in real time at the end of the song! There should be balloons falling from the freakin' rafters!
I had faith.
Thanks for "listening", not many reactors get this song. Forever & Ever Amen is my favorite Randy Travis song
It was a great song, makes you really think about what's important.
I know right? It's really strange how they completely miss the point of this song. It seems pretty straight forward & i can't remember any other song that causes so many disappointing reactions. I really don't get it. This is one of the best country songs ever written, sang by one of the best country artists to ever live. 😕☹😞
I was thinking the same thing.
My favorite of Randy’s is Diggin’ Up Bones,
I love knowing young people understanding this fantastic story!!!!
Awesome reaction. A lot of people miss who lived so that's why there are only 3 Wooden crosses and not four.
Randy Travis- Forever and Ever Amen. Another great singer, Brad Paisley, Whiskey Lullaby and I'm Gonna Miss Her When She's Gone (The Fishing song). Love your reactions.
Randy's voice was so cool. It's sad that he had a stroke, but he's still with us and knows how much he and his music are loved.
My favorite singer of all time!!!!
So far you’re the only reactor I’ve seen that understood the ending!
I've seen a few. Some must be confused, and, think that the preacher on the bus was the same one telling the story in church.
Diggin’ Up Bones, I Told You So & Forever & Ever Amen.
So glad you understood the song :) I loved it when he sang it’s not what you take when you leave this world behind you, it’s what you leave behind you when you go. What a GREAT message. Everyone needs to listen to this😊 Great reaction 🎉
Breaks my heart we can't hear new music from this voice. God bless him.
It's tragic what happened to such a kind and talented man. My thoughts prayers go to Randy and his wife. I send them both my love.

Thanks Lyle. This song always makes me cry.
My favorite Randy Travis song is "I Thought That He Walked On Water". It reminds me of my late grandfather whom I lost 22 years ago ❤️❤️❤️
He Walked on Water - my favorite Randy Travis song. I always think about my Dad when I hear this song. Love your reaction to Three Wooden Crosses!
An all time favorite of mine. Thank you.

Yes, some Randy Travis!
"Baptism"
"Diggin' Up Bones"
"Look Heart, No Hands"

Loved the version of 'Long Black Train' Randy sang with Josh Turner.

I thought he walked on water, reminds me of my great grandfather
Randy Travis made a great song called "pray for the fish" it is one of my favorites I would love if you would react to it.
*tears* What a very touching song. We can always count on country singers to deliver a song like this. And life is indeed unpredictable and precious
A little known or requested song, 'The Box'. How you take it can depend on your relationship with your father, but it's so very special in so many ways. Not one of his hits but it is so special. 💓
Deeper than the holler is a good one
Thank you so much for going down the Randy Travis Rabbit hole! 😍

He Walked On Water
Spirit Of A Boy Wisdom Of A Man
Thirteen Mile Goodbye
A Little Left Of Center
Don't Ever Sell Your Saddle

No "I Told You So?" 👀
@@Gutslinger so many to pick from... that's another great song!
I remember going to a family reunion in the 80's & my Uncle Connie singing "Diggin Up Bones". A reaction to that Travis song would be cool
Love Randy!!! He's working on making a comeback.. I sure hope he does. He's been missed!!!
When Randy lived in Santa Fe, he came down to perform gospel songs at our church's Easter Sunrise Services in Albuquerque. It was always a blessing to have him & his band with us.
This song has all the feels Thank you for reacting to this.
This was a respectful, honoring, heartfelt reaction. Thank you.
Randy is great. You need to hear It's a matter of time and digging up bones
I heard him sing Amazing grace after he'd recovered a bit. You did a great job. This is like the first time i realized the importance of that song.
On The Other Hand is one of my Randy Travis songs.
Such an amazing story teller, his music is incredible. The Chair is one of my favorites.

I recommend forever and ever, amen by randy Travis and little girl by John Michael Montgomery. I appreciate you doing it and just love your channel

Me too!
One of my all time favorites of Randy is The Gift. It’s a Christmas song, but has a touching message. Love your reactions!! You just so gen-u-ine!!
I love your reaction videos. You have a real appreciation for the music.
You should do “Letters from home” by John Michael Montgomery. You’ll love it.

Randy Travis's He Walked On Water would be a great one for you to react to!
another good one by Randy is a song called.....angels
if you want to hear a good Randy song give that one a spin.
Do some Martina McBride...she has some great songs out there. Some are really sad though...but hits on issues..
I second Martina McBride, "A Broken Wing," "Independence Day," and "Concrete Angel" are unforgettable (the last one will likely need tissues). Another unforgettable experience with an amazing female country singer would be Joey Feek singing "When I'm Gone."
I think the point is that no one is beyond redemption, and it’s not too late to get right.
Such a wonderful song!!!!!!! So glad you reacted to this! Have you heard of or done a reaction on Josh Turner - "Long Black Train"???
He is from North Carolina like myself. I was invited to a BBQ by my manager at work years ago. I got there & I was told that I missed him and his wife by a few minutes. He married my manager’s cousin. They told me that they had told them that they something to do but then it was canceled. That’s just my luck. lol
Better Class Of Losers by Randy Travis highly consider it.

I think he missed the point, the gift the preacher gave the hooker changed her life and shaped her child's life.
