Does the Chi 1" volcanic lava ceramic pro spin and curl stand up to my brutal standards when it comes to the perfect curl?

    Love your videos, getting just the info needed. Need your recommendation, I have long hair and want to spend only 10 mins in the morning to curl my hair. I have been using straightener until now. Should I use automatic curler vs curling iron vs twisted curler/straightener?

    • @GlamGirlGabi
      @GlamGirlGabi  4 роки тому +1

      I have a video about a new automatic cordless curler that I just discovered coming out on friday! It's a great product so stay tuned for that review and demo. I feel like the automatic curlers takes too long though. In my opinion, a twisted flat iron may be your fastest bet but it won't likely be faster than a regular flat iron which is what you're using now. I am going to film a video comparing a twist iron to a normal flat iron (comparison video) That will be up on monday so before you buy anything, wait for that video. I am not even 100 percent sure a twist iron is better than a straightener even though I do love my twist iron.... I will have to compare one side of the head to the other when I film it to see what real results we get and if there is any difference. I'm curious myself!

    As a hairdresser, the best way to curl hair to last longer is to make "sausage curls" and once it is all cooled off, you pull them out with product to create beach waves.

    • @GlamGirlGabi
      @GlamGirlGabi  3 роки тому

      I’m a licensed senior level hairstylist. Definitely disagree with this. Makes for a very very outdated curl. Lots of ways to get curls to stay without making them sausage curls.

    • @DidiStyle
      @DidiStyle 3 роки тому +2

      @@GlamGirlGabi I think it depends on the hair. If my hair is curled, unless it's "sausage curls", My curls
      would fall out the next day. And I too am a "senior stylist" Been doing it for 30 years. :)

    • @GlamGirlGabi
      @GlamGirlGabi  3 роки тому +1

      Yeah I could see the hair falling out the next day with different curls methods especially if the hair is super fine or very straight.
