@@sugargirl991 I've encountered it with both round and paddle brushes. In the year since I commented, I've changed my routine so I don't round brush the top of my head, so it comes up less often, or is less visible. Once in a while I still get the weird bend, though. I'm thinking it's brush placement interacting with my head shape at this point.
Hi, Gabi! Great video as always!! Do you have a video on you favorite hair products?? Especially, for volume on fine hair and anti-humidity hairspray and/or all products!
I'm so lucky (I never thought I'd say that). I wash my hair and blow dry the top of my head - upside down. I can't get a round brush on the top. It would be woven in there like nobodies business. So I wash it, carefully brush it out when it's not too wet and wait until it's almost dry to blow the top. I'll do my ends to make them more crisp. This takes me no time. I also use dry shampoo. Love that. Thank you Gabi. You rock!
Hi Gabi, Great video! I'd love to see one about the best brushes & tools for different hair types. Could you please recommend an alternative more affordable hair dryer with a diffuser? I don't own a hair dryer and for the rare occasions that I might use one, I don't want to spend too much. If you honestly believe that spending on this hair dryer is worth it, regardless, please let me know. Thank you so much!
I use a solid bamboo paddle brush with bamboo bristles and it makes my hair like silk, it never pulls my hair. I highly recommend it for those with straight fine hair. I use it when I blow dry and it makes my hair straight and shiny. Love your videos. Xoxo 🙏💕💋
Hello, So far you are the most honest person when it comes to hair and reviews for that reason I like watching your videos My question is you mentioned you like that hair dryer skin research more than Dyson, why is that? My hair is like yours fine but soft wavy and sane length. I noted my dyson hair dryer makes my hair very frizzy. What your thoughts are and can you expand on your statement between dyson and skins research hair dryer
I have a strong cowlick right at my forehead and I struggle all the time with getting it straight. I have fine curly/wavy hair and it is short so I don't need to blow dry for very long but this one spot never stays smooth and straight. I end up having to use a small flat iron. I have tried blowing in the opposite direction but to no avail. Would love to hear how to tame this situation. Great video btw.
Gabi I have very fine and thin hair. What hair products do you recommend for from shampoos, thickening mousses to hairsprays? Thank you. I’ve getting my haircut soon with your recommendation of the floating bob. I’m really enjoying your channel.
Hi Gabi, I love your videos and vast info. I feel like you are the only stylist that takes the time to analyze face shape and hair and know exactly what to create for your client. I would LOVE to have you cut and style my hair! I am in California. Any chance you are anywhere near here???
Wish I discovered your videos years ago! I feel like I've missed so many tips and in need of them badly overall...personally struggle with blow drying.
Im so happy that you are enjoying them. Thank you so much for taking the time to leave me some positive feedback. I am definitely going to make a video about brushes asap!
Hi Gabi! Great tips as always! Can you possibly do a video on maintenance for dark brunettes with similar highlights to yours and how often do you recommend redoing your highlights? I often find that my highlights become faded and dull right around 6 weeks. How can I give my highlights that vibrancy when I left the salon? Thanks!
VERY interested in knowing more & finding a great round brush. I have been using a boars hair brush for years but they’re getting harder to locate. Thanks!
My curly hair looks the best if I let it air dry for a while , then use my hair dryer until the hair is about 80% dry and then I use my Revlon blow brush to smooth and add volume. My hairdresser has said that I have fine but not thin hair.
Thanks so much for commenting and noticing!!! I decided on a whim to change it. It just was not feeling as professional as I wanted it to. I’m glad you like this better.
I know it must be a pain to list the products you use every time you use any particular product in one of your videos…but, I would greatly appreciate it. It is frustrating to watch and learn but then not know the brand of the comb or brush or whatever. It’s one of the firsts things a viewer does is check to see if the influencer included a list of the items used in their video. GRACIAS🦋
Thank you for the feedback. I really appreciate this comment and I promise moving forward that I will add a link to all products. I do this for most videos but missed it in this one.
Dear Gabi, I am over 60 and appear to be incapable to blow-dry my hair. I am not proud of this (but resigned) and mostly let it air dry. Since my hair is fine and thin would the Dyson air wrap be an option for somebody like me please? Does it cause damage? Many thanks if you get a chance to answer, another great video today.
The Dyson Airwrap would be an excellent option and it does not cause damage. Lots of attachments that I bet you would love. I use mine regularly. It’s an investment but it is truly worth it. The Airwrap attachments have a learning curve so just be mindful of that but the smoothing attachments are easy to use and awesome.
Was looking for a new hair dryer… but $299? No thanks! Can you give us a recommendation for the avg wallet? A “drugstore” brand so to speak? Thanks! (More like $50) Yes to the brush video. Great job as always!
That is definitely a thing that happens. I got my hair tangled into one before because I'm a clumsy idiot so I refuse to even attempt using a round brush again.
What I do using one is that I lift at the roots with it, and only turn it inward slightly while pulling it through the hair . I only flip it more inward towards the ends. I do this fairly quickly, so if the strand is still damp, I go over it a couple more times. I don’t keep rolling the brush up and then pull repeatedly like she does, because my hair tends to tangle that way. Hope this makes sense. 😊
Gabi, PLEASE tell us what brush that is that you use at the END of the video (not the round brush, the flatter one for styling!), I've seen you use it but never link to it! Thank you !:)
