    PSA: Hold the button until it stops spinning, then you can let go & wait until it beeps (the countdown starts from when the curler stops turning). So your hands don't hurt LOL

    You really don’t have to hold the button the whole time until it beeps. I’ve found you can keep it in for way less time and the curls still look amazing.

      It seems as humans we always want what we don't have. I have straightish hair and I have always wanted curls as a child. My hair is a little wavy here and there but it's frizzy and bad if I let my hair just air dry after a shower.

      But naturally curly hair and curled hair with an iron look a lot different.

    • @StarPanda7
      @StarPanda7 6 років тому

      Girl same!! I started wearing my natural curls instead of straightening it. Obviously from heat and bleach damage my curls aren't the best but people still thought I got a perm

    • @Rockusweet

      jyn88 moisture may give you curls. I use Lis Noir Skincare Protein Conditioner, Hair Oil and SLS Free Shampoo Bar in Red Clover. Now my frizzy, dry hair has lots of curl, hardly any frizz! I guess I was using too much silicone to combat the fizz, drying my hair out and I really needed hydration.

      @@peytonp.3096 I agree 100% --- my hair is naturally curly, but I still add some curls with the iron sometimes, they look much different than the natural curls (usually I get them a little loser/softer looking) --- starting with curls may make it faster/easier since I can skip pieces or just do the front etc, but curled pieces are very different than natural pieces.
      All that said -- I often try to straighten mine (as most curly haired girls do!), so I see it as no different...

    I like the CHI spin'n'curl, but they really promote their styling products, as well - which are REALLY expensive. I do not know how much hair spray to use and whether to spray my hair before or after I use the CHI spin'n'curl.

    You’re awesome!!! I love your excitement and explanation while you’re using the iron.
    As the mom of an adult daughter (22) who has anorexia nervosa, please don’t criticize what you ate at a festival and how you feel like a “whale”. First of all, you are BEAUTIFUL!!! Second of all, you have girls/women who are looking up to you. Beauty is on the inside.

I bought it and wasn't sure if I was gonna send it back or not but after watching your video I might keep it. I haven't taken it out of the box yet but now I feel better about this curling iron. Thank you for making this video!!

    • @AmandaBellaa
      @AmandaBellaa  5 років тому

      Oh nooo!! Okay, in total honesty, I do not use this often - *only* because I'm pretty good with my wand and this takes up more space in my bathroom. However! I would keep practicing with the tools you already have & if it seems like a lost cause consider investing! You can always check eBay if you want to try and snag one for a good deal :)

      Heather Foss a good tip because mine used to not but now I let my hair get a day “dirty” like I wash it 2 days before I curl it and I do a light spray of hairspray and heat protectant layer by layer and comb it through and mine now holds curls for almost 2 whole days.
