What is being overlooked in this whole Nickelodeon conversation is that the big stars were protected. A lot of the people from quiet on the set were smaller recurring characters or writers who could be preyed upon or bullied by Dan because they didn’t have clout like Kenan/Kel etc

I freakin love Kel and I love that Shannon provided him this platform and allows him to talk interrupted. Kel is such a jewel with a genuine heart. U dont have a sense of self as a kid. Parents need to be all up in the business and there needs to be protection in the way of advocates on set as well.
His advice to the kids basically was, "this does not define who you are".

@@radalexander7160 He avoided and deflected with his answer. Anybody who worked for that man for that long and that closely knows something. He is highly media trained and knows how to navigate an answer without answering directly. Like Legion from Ressa Tessa...they go on tangents about other things to get out of answering what they've been asked directly.

No doubt Kel is media trained, but as a public figure you have to be careful about making accusations about people that could turn into a whole messy situation, especially when in Dan's case, there's nothing concrete that's ever been brought against him. Just internet rumors and conjecture. If it was a Diddy situation where there's video or something concrete that's irrefutable then he'd maybe be more likely to speak on it. It's not like us randoms on the internet who can say whatever about whoever with no repercussion. And maybe Kel just didn't want to take the interview down that route talking about other people's stories. He mentioned his interaction with Dan.

I remember around 2003/2004 a rumor came out that Kel did kill himself. I was 11 and gullible but I remember how sad me and my cousin were and my friend and my brother were when we told them the rumor. Crazy to hear that it was almost a reality. Glad to see Kel seems to be in a good place
