Alonso de Hojeda I think there are actually two solos run together by Downing & Tipton, no? The double rhythm guitars are what gave Judas Priest that "depth" in all their songs.
Yep that was all Glenn. KK is great too. But Glenn did that. I'd know his sound anywhere. My favourite guitarist in the world....BUT....he never surpassed this bit of lead.... Absolute genius.
Dreamer Deceiver has always been my favorite Priest song. It used to be my favorite song altogether, back when I had a favorite song. Maybe still is, but I don't really think about favorite songs much any more.
Glenn Tipton. He didn't pick up a guitar "seriously" (as he puts it) until he was around 21 years old (1968-69) but he had a piano background that dated probably back all the way to birth. His mother taught piano. His big brother played guitar and would "fuck around" with it until he saw Taste in concert (Rory Gallagher).
this was one of the songs that were in the trial of judas priest that is now on dvd, great and very sad documentary .. which is in the actual title.. give it a watch..
I know the shape of the note I saw it in a vision, the air molecule spheres compressed and decompressed in a pattern I can visually show you, I need to know what it is with cymatics or something's ng please contact me
That guitar solo was composed in another dimension...

Old-Man Parker If you watch the live version of this song, you can see that Tipton did all the leads.

i think his solo from Beyond The Realms of Death is the best
i got no other explanation for this solo.
One of the best Priest songs ever. A masterpiece indeed!
I lived this song, a meeting with something delivering a message
The album that introduced me to and made me fall in love with the Priest. In my mind, their best album ever.

Trust me, you’ll hear Priest songs with keys/piano in almost every album.
as high as a voice can go, you've got tubes Halford!
one of most incridible vocals ever.
There is a single, sonic sound that is vibrating constantly... nuff said.
Greatest song ever! Greatest vocals, Greatest guitar work!

Standing by my window, breathing summer breeze
Saw a figure floating, 'neath the willow tree
great vocals !!
Rob Halford is aGod love this band
Glenn's guitar solo is amazing. What a guitarist. Sooo overlooked, at least in the states. The solo is a precursor to BTROD.
