Just came here 4 years later to say thank you. In 2019 I used your videos to get some tips on real life application that you don’t usually get from tutorials with drift ready specials or old drift bible. You have specific small tips, that makes it more easy to comprehend and it helped me a lot, to be able to drift and trash cars ❤️
I've seen quite a few videos on how to drift and this one was definitely the best. It's helpful to see the pedals and your explanations are great. Thanks! Keep them coming.
Sir, I appreciate your videos more than you know! Your videos have gotten me closer to drifting successfully than anything else I have watched so far. You da man. You should teach drifting for a living.
Best video to demonstrate a proper drift. Even the professionals who appear in popular drifting videos failed to properly explain how to do it. GREAT JOB GUYS ! I was looking for this sort of video for over 3 years and finally now I know how to go sideways.
"No one has any fucking excuses. Weld the diff, don't do anything else." So true, hahah. Too many guys getting into drifting wanna RB swap and throw on angle mods after one event because their car 'doesn't have enough power' or 'need knuckles because I keep spinning out' I think the only other mod I see as a necessity is a decent seat. Sweet video though, quality stuff.
+SushiPlease "need knuckles" is dependant on the car. Bimmers are known for coming with decent knuckles from factory, but that isnt to say the same applies to other popular drift cars as well.
Trevor Phillips Not at all, a seat holds your ass in place so you can feel what the car is doing and react accordingly. A better steering wheel by itself won't do you much good if you're getting thrown around trying to brace yourself with your knee's and hanging on to the wheel for support.
@@entemone2633 in the EU we dont have the hydraulic handbrakes for every car avaible, even tho we still do handbrake turns, I preaty much mastered the way my 99' 1.6 16v 130 bhp megane reacts, but i crashed it (not using a handbrake, I fell asleep when driving for 13h from France). Accualy, every saab is extremly safe, they even tested them with a head on colision with a moose, they were the only people who noticed that when crashing, your knee hits the key when it is where it usually is so they put it on the senter console. Great video and info 👍🏼 Steps well described. But when adjusting handbrake it should always be done at the internal brake shoes first then any free play in the cables afterwards. Repeatedly tightening the cables just means your going to continue stretching your cables, ok for a while then they stretch. You’ll still have an increasing gap between the handbrake shoes and the inside of the disc/drum due to wear.
