I want to try to learn drifting in my '76 Mustang II, but it doesn't have power steering. Do you think I should invest in power steering before attempting anything on pavement? (I've been practicing the physics of drifting in snow lmaoo)
I don't know if you've ever seen it Chelsea but I've seen a few Japanese drift cars that run small sprayers in the rear wheel wells instead of worrying about water pits. They are stupid easy and cheap to fab up, you could even use the factory windshield wiper fluid tank and pump and just run new line from it to the wheel wells.
Can you elaborate a little more on tire pressure? do you run around 60psi in any set of tires or how much of an increase is that from what's factory recommended on the ones in this video? Also, do you want more grip/softer tires or less grip/harder tires when drifting? finally, do you have a recommended all around tire + tire pressure combo for canyon driving? Thanks man. Driving is so fun!
HEY CHELSEA I JUST WANTED TO KNOW WHAT ENGINE ARE YOU RUNNING IN THE CAR IN THE VIDEO , I OWN AN E46 320I 150 PS , IS THAT JUST FINE FOR DRIFTING OR I NEED A CAR THAT HAS MORE POWER TO DO IT , PLEASE REVERT , AWAITING RESPONSE :)
Congrats on the Long Beach win! Wish I was there. I just had two questions. 1. Where would we find a place to do this? I Live in SoCal and I found one track but I doubt they will let us practice donuts and figure 8s on their drift days. 2. How did you find that car for $900? Was something wrong with it? I have been trying to find an e36 to start drifting for about 6 months now, and the are all either way too expensive or have way too many problems. I was looking at cars up tp about $1800 and haven't found anything yet. An e46 is even more expensive XD Good luck in Formula D this year!
1, I would politely ask the event organizer to watch this video and say you want to practice this. If they say NO tell them to contact me so I can explain they are stupid for wanting to take your money and not have you become a better driver for their spectators to watch. 2. They vary in price depending on location, e36's by me are actually more money. I prefer the e36 since its lighter and has a bit more top end power.
+Chelsea Denofa Motorsports Your welcome. I'll try to make it to Irwindale later this year. Hopefully I get a chance to meet you there, but I guess that's highly unlikely XD
+Chelsea Denofa Motorsports really enjoying this series, Any suggestions on bigger cities like New York? Also any insight for under powered miata drifters?
any tips on how to drift a bone stock e36? What I mean is how does the car handle beyond the limit and how do you drive it? example: in an ae86 or miata you have to use a lot of weight transfer and wot all the time. on the e36 how is it?
+Christian Vitela abandoned places, parking lots, late night on the open roads. last one is kinda dumb cuz of the police but nearest track from me is in 70 miles... abandoned places are the best for practicing
Mickael Azenha just keep it safe... your car can drift all day long from factory. except maybe hydro handbrake, and change your diff oil if it you have old oil, so you don't wear your lsd unecesarily
you should invite Haggard for a session. I bet that would get you views and help them achieve their goal of going pro lol. it would be cool for you to have a series where you correct/teach people who are already decent.
Popcorn Senpai I have a miata and i can drift great if its a little damp. A bit underpowered for dry but i do still have an open diff. It rotates freely and is really smooth. Pretty cheap to get but if you dont get the hard top you'll need a roll bar to get on a track. This bmw would be great too i have driven one very similar and it was a really good beginners drift car. My mk3 supra does ok it's a bit twitchy because it needs more power, they're heavy.
Taran Offord it's funny how you just commented this because there's a miata drifting outside right now haha. but thanks for the ideas, I'll take them into consideration.
You need to have the weight transfer before you are pulling the hand brake or clutch kicking. If on a left drift, you'll want to pull the handbrake as soon as you feel pressure on your right hip in the car. Opposite for the right drift.
Nice love lan evo 9 just make her FR (rwd) and clutch LSD in the rear and ur good to go toke,yo drift style I use this car in my vids of my insane style of drifting!!! Its OK tho I'm legally crazy..
Your videos have taken me from controlled doughnuts to being solid at local events. Thank you!
calmly talking while drifting, crazy.
So these are guaranteed tips to win long beach?
Chelsea ! love your vids, I watch the how to series before I get on track, your chilled out demeanor just calms me down ! , Love from Wales, UK.
Thank you for the videos Chelsea, also congrats on your win at Long Beach today!! I am rooting for you to win the whole series! team e46 FTW!!!!
The most satisfied video if all time .
THANK YOU BROTHER, YOU ARE A TRUE TEACHER.
By far, your best series on UA-cam! Love the tutorials
I DID IT !
Gratz!!!!!
the first thing of all this tutorial is "you must have the car"
I'm at "You must have a place (where you're not going to get arrested and/or fined)."
Don't call me out like that 😭🤣
@@doubleT84 yeah this
Your videos have helped me tremendously
Thanks for letting us know! Im glad I could help.
4:27 LMAOOOOOOOOO ROCK 9N BROTHA LOLL
💯Here is a video with Chelsea DeNofa explaining tire pressure in detail on how to prevent you from spinning out 🤩@6:00
Ah, a water pit. I know most of what's been said but I'm here for the little Jewels.
I want to try to learn drifting in my '76 Mustang II, but it doesn't have power steering. Do you think I should invest in power steering before attempting anything on pavement? (I've been practicing the physics of drifting in snow lmaoo)
so good!

Hey man, I have a 330 e46. Was wondering if you could give me some insight on tire size. Great videos!
Can you elaborate a little more on tire pressure?

Hey man would you upgrade this car and show you us what kind of upgrades it can be done in low budget ?
I will be doing this soon!
K just learned this last night this video helped alot shit felt good asf
Really like it..
Is it necessary to have welded diff to do that kind of things? I have e46 150HP and i wonder that i could try.
Yea, youll need a welded or limited slip
What is limited slip? And how much power do I need to welded diff wont be nessesary?
Welded or LSD will be nessesary at all times for successful drift!
great video bro 💯...I have a e46 I want to make into a drift car ...hmm with tips
Is it more difficult for 2nd gear?
My e46 is struggling on doing donut at 2nd gear
If you dont mind the question. How much psi would you normally run with your track car?
18-25
how did you do the burnout at 4:33 with 130hp? i mean i've never tried it but isn't that too little power?
+MathisMaS nah man, it's plenty of power
hey, i will buy e30 318i. can you recommend about what should i do with that car? i mean what should i upgrade for a beginner?
Cool! Thanks!!!
hi do you have videos how to drip an innova ?
how do we drift a auto matic and wat it corners are tight
welded diff?
Yes sir

the car in the video is a 323i with a welded diff and 60 psi air in the rear tyres
Its a 323i in the video. Thanks man!

really enjoying this series, Any suggestions on bigger cities like New York? Also any insight for under powered miata drifters?
+SkillerDanHD Hey man, try Willow springs. They have a skip pad you can practice on. Also look up drift 101. They have a school there.
Are you in Oregon
Summer or winter tires ? Nice vid!
All season's

Stock e36 is great! Just make sure it has a locking diff and a good handbrake.
Where at besides a track would be a good, appropriate, safe place to learn drifting, donuts, etc.?
Parking lot
+Christian Vitela abandoned places, parking lots, late night on the open roads. last one is kinda dumb cuz of the police but nearest track from me is in 70 miles... abandoned places are the best for practicing
thank ya'll
hi, i have a e36 m3 3.0 286hp and i'm going to use it for weekend ride and track day drift . What modifications do you advises? like suspension etc...
Mickael Azenha just keep it safe... your car can drift all day long from factory.
except maybe hydro handbrake, and change your diff oil if it you have old oil, so you don't wear your lsd unecesarily
I was thinking about putting a hsd suspension in it for a better look too..And I know the suspension is one of the most important things for drifting
60-80psi? Holy fuck
Yea man!
cuz there isn't much horsepower i was surprised too but on his drift car he could use 25 psi
That's right I run 50psi in the back of my nb Miata.
you should invite Haggard for a session. I bet that would get you views and help them achieve their goal of going pro lol. it would be cool for you to have a series where you correct/teach people who are already decent.
Thanks love to see you bro from Mustapha bitts(stigylence)delco in Banjul The Gambia address No 6 louvel street
Was this in 1st gear?
Yes
Is 95 hp in my corolla gts enough for drifting
No, you'll need to pick up a civic.
neither, get anything that’s rwd
Any beginner car recommendations for less than $2,000? just need some ideas

BMW E36 / E46 / E34
MERCEDES 190D 2.5 TURBO
E36 or E46 is best for the money
Chelsea Denofa Motorsports I'll keep that in mind. Thanks lad
hold it let it flick my car isnt flicking the wheel like normal any idea why not? i drive a g35 coupe
You need to have the weight transfer before you are pulling the hand brake or clutch kicking. If on a left drift, you'll want to pull the handbrake as soon as you feel pressure on your right hip in the car. Opposite for the right drift.
Chelsea DeNofa thanks for the reply ill try that out tomorrow

Is that a 325i
When I was 4, I used the figure 8 drift
Nice helmet!
Thanks man!
nani...inertia dorifto....eurobeat intensifies
I think this 323i have more than 130hp. Maybe about 170hp... Sorry if wrote wrong. I don't speak English very well... (:
+Ilija Golubović this is horsepower at the wheels not crank
Why it looks so easy
🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥💨💨💨💨💨💨
Nice place for drift, hope someday i have that
60psi??? my mitsubishi evo 9 is recommend 32psi....
Nice love lan evo 9 just make her FR (rwd) and clutch LSD in the rear and ur good to go toke,yo drift style I use this car in my vids of my insane style of drifting!!! Its OK tho I'm legally crazy..
