I was able to dash at my friend and broski was just spinning on once place, literally. That was extending my combos and it's even easier to 0-100 💀@@llvkey
my problem w the new dashes is that it just doesn't fit SBG, atleast to me, is a really rough game. The short, yet fast dashes actually added onto that style but now the new dashes are slow, bullshit big hitbox along with it. they arent like, for example, TSBG, where they're fast at first, but the more distance you travel, the slower it gets. It's just slow from the start, making them entirely useless or insanely situational. I do wish, now that the rework for the front dash is out, that they actually rework the base systems (m1 range for swords, side dashes) because i dont think its necessarily bad, i just feel like the new front dashes simply dont fit

This make me think about TSB with how some insane tech are game defining and it make the casual experience less enjoyable. I'm fine with depths being added in any game, but it's pretty obnoxious to see the same type of player exploit 20 different kind of combo extender and resets that you wont know about unless you keep yourself updated on every new tech by scrolling on UA-cam for hours
Rest in peace the old front dash. I didn't play Sorcerer Battlegrounds before it was lost, but I know what it feels like to have a fun technique get removed. (rest in peace 3 M1s + sidedash + forward dash combo extender)
i actually like the dash changes, they felt too stiff and snappy and now they are a little smoother and more balanced, this also stops those annoying comboes where people extended with forward dashes making the game more balanced overall.
I understand the removal of the dash tech my problem is how much it strengthened the passive players in the process it is now incredibly difficult to get around a passive player that knows their distances so now playing against a high skill passive player just becomes a waiting game until either of you get bored and try to get around the opponents block ultimately to fail and just get comboed
in my "fighting logic" when someone rushes towards an opponent at a long distance, they will do something knockback-like move kinda like a drop kick or lariat
my only problem with the update after getting more used to it is the crazy reach m1s and front dash has, you can hit someone with a front dash and they arent even near you, that and now for some reason toji and yuta's swords seem way stronger
I’m a mobile player and I genuinely have stopped playing sorcerer’s bg completely because of this update. It’s hard for me to play aggressively (which is the only thing I can do as a mobile player) with my combo starter being completely and utterly useless.
the old dash (im talking about the no hit foward dash they had in the alpha) was way better imo (if u don't understand, im talking about an actual dash instead of a rush. the current dashes consist of asd and a rush dash being w.)
we had the same kind of update where they also rework not just dash but the movement aswell, everything is faster but we quickly adapted to it and none probably complained. The only change here is the dash which i can already tell IT IS a game changer but we can just make new combos and stick with it, the update is amazingly balance and its not that bad at all and you should check out Tekken since sometimes they nerf/buff some characters and combos are also changed
the dash was not only good for combos but also punishing and zoning with the old dash you always had a reliable option to get a hit in if your opponet was turned around or not paying attention. but with the new dash it seems like the only good way to poke and start combos is with side dash wich just isnt very fun
it was already a tsbg clone, alike most "battlegrounds" games that take inspiration from tsbg (basically just copy and pasting tsbg but changing the anime)

Almost the same as TSBG (The strongest battlegrounds) Where they Silent Nerfed the best tech in the game, 3 m1 into side dash into dash, also known as m1 reset, i was hella mad but i got over it in 1-2 days, thinking about it now, the game actually got more fun and balanced now, everyone is closer in terms ot skill level and fights become more enjoyable and not a full unescapable 100% combo..
It is rather similar to strongest battle grounds. I was just generally thinking you should take a look at Heroes battle grounds as it takes a few concepts from the anime into the game such as having a character's mastery and even adding a Nomu boss.
I kinda miss mybone shot combo when if you used sevenfold striek it never ragdolled the enemy and you could extend a combo but it definitely made the game unfair as hell
I just hate tryna put someone into a combo just for them to get knocked back and be able to get out of it. For example, I usually 3m1 into a black flash and then dash into them for 3 more m1s but now they get pushed back and if you’re fighting a toji or a yuta, their long m1 range is gonna hit you first and you’re out of a dash
The problem isn't the dash itself, although i did prefer old toji's and yuta's dash, cuz they were more satisfying to use, but the problem is how unreasonable the hitbox is, its hitbox is so large it just makes missing the dash impossible, you can get hit from 3 meters away from where it actually lands.
The only real change of the 2 is the excessive knock back of the front dash and the animation, the animation now is more accurate, the old one was pretty weird like, the animation shows like if you hit the rival, but it doesn't hit it
The thing I hate , idk if its my internet but the hitboxes are trash bro and also the moves or js attacks are delayed and when I clearly hit someone it doesnt hit while im 1 million meters away from someone and he front dashes and BOOM he hits me like what? (and he aint even close to me)
Unfortunaly that's Roblox's fault. Way too little servers world wide (specially in places like Brazil, where they have NO SERVERS despite the fact we're one of the biggest boblox players worldwide (Well... Not true... But there's still a lot of players here)). This creates a 100% CERTANTY that if you've gotten bad ping in basicaly... All of your matches, means you'll have it for the rest of your life (or until Roblox finnaly realizes that getting money also requires paying attention to the community (wich, they are finnaly doing now, it seems)).
tbh the ppl that complained about the front dashes should literally experience how it feels like to get true one shotted maybe you can spend your life on a game BUT I CANT SPEND MY LIFE

Reworking front dashes was a good and a bad move. But my concern is the lack of content for the game, devs are way too slow at releasing new characters and they have been working on Mahito for a while but then the dev that was working on Mahito got fired now we have Megumi and just 2 moves.. yikes and they won't work on Mahito till Megumi is completed... Bruh I prefer Mahito over Megumi but at this point I'm fine with anything 😅

im honestly fine with this update, i dropped sorcerers after about 2.3k kills and switched to strongest because the combat felt more skill based and now im at 5.5k kills on strongest
"Dash tech" is so pathetic- I'm glad they got rid of the old dash. It was terribly annoying since all the children who would use it would think they're really good when the permanent stun lock was the literal most easy thing to do to keep winning fights over and over again Whoever calls it a tech is no older than 13.
The new dash actually makes the game worse. It's hitbox is far too big and buggy, It also lets you extend to a 7th true M1 combo making swords EVEN MORE OVERPOWERED, especially with halloween (now has 2 100% true combos 🤯) and the length of it is further than Backflip which is crazy
One combos are actually dumb in sorcerer battlegrounds, the alrage literally is meat riding Sukuna. The Sukuna rework was less of a rework and more of a new way for Sukuna to kill you faster and easier. Also as a Toji main since the early access era, Toji has never had a one shot combo (unless your opponent is really bad and can't dash or counter out of a inf m1 chain somehow) and has been nerfed at the whim of annoying 12 year olds saying "Toji having more counter frames than daddy Sukuna is bad" and then subsequently made Toji have the same amount of counter frames, while sukuna players can use black flash every 2 second because apparently it makes sense to have a combo chain have almost 0 cooldown after 5 minutes of practice.
Ah, some fresh copium 1. Current Sukuna is weaker than Old Sukuna, I don't even think I need to explain this but compare fights to Sukuna ult then and now. 2. He basically did have a 100-0 for doing almost nothing. The same easyto do auto combo, not to mention the glitches people were doing to extend his combos even more past the usual foward dash slow m1 extender (playful cloud flick) 3. Just get better at landing your counter

old sukuna ult can one shot you in literally 5 seconds early access toji was absolutely bullshit, 70% for 3 skills and m1s while standing still toji's counter frames are still MUCH longer than yuji, yuji's is literally a 1 frame counter black flash can be used up to 4 times, with the 4th one being blockable, also did you just ignore the fact that yuji mains cant even do combos now? black flash is also really easy to punish, especially the people who spam it

One big problem I always had with this game, was the combat always felt cluncky and slow, the new dash has made it feel slightly smoother, only slightly though and the game remainsl the standarad unbalanced mess that every battlegrounds game tends to be
Honestly, I didn't like the one shot combos. But they didn't have to remove the only game mechanic that made their game truly unique. Now it's just a SBG copy, which sucks. Although, it's not like it really matters since I quit the game already. Definitely not playing after this.
its not that the frontdash is bad. Its that they stil havn't fixed the main bug with the front dash of where you get hit when they arnt anywhere near you. (allthough its always been an issue) That and the hitboxes still are NOT fixed

Exactly, TSB actually has a good combat system unlike Sorcecers Battlegrounds so any change to make it more like TSB improves the game so much.

Probably just lag. Check the ping or server region. Might not be the same with yours if it goes above 100 ms or just a far region.

black flash can be used up to 4 times, with the 4th one being blockable, also did you just ignore the fact that yuji mains cant even do combos now?
black flash is also really easy to punish, especially the people who spam it

One big problem I always had with this game, was the combat always felt cluncky and slow, the new dash has made it feel slightly smoother, only slightly though and the game remainsl the standarad unbalanced mess that every battlegrounds game tends to be

Honestly, I didn't like the one shot combos. But they didn't have to remove the only game mechanic that made their game truly unique. Now it's just a SBG copy, which sucks. Although, it's not like it really matters since I quit the game already. Definitely not playing after this.

its not that the frontdash is bad. Its that they stil havn't fixed the main bug with the front dash of where you get hit when they arnt anywhere near you. (allthough its always been an issue) That and the hitboxes still are NOT fixed

Or it is because the old front dash hit you faster and when you use the new front dash you are slow as hell and you still didn't hit em yet and they can attack you to combo you

This doesn't change the problem with combo extend/resets, it just makes harder to pull it off by copying tsb frontdash knockback. at this point im just expecting the game to turn into a garou tech simulator, because its just a matter of time it does. L take ngl man

the old dash was fine the new dash is kinda useless as there is now a lower skill ceiling removing techs and adding in a dash that stops players from making 1 shot combos completely stops from people who enjoy competitive play having the chance to show their skill

For the front dash it's that the ending for front dash is very fast at the end and it's really buggy and it just looks like a tsb rip off game
