Might just be me but I don't think I this genre is bad or is going away anytime soon

It would be cool if there was a BG with story and each character had a different playstyle Like one character had the basic BG moveset Then the other has some street fighter like moveset and needed certain inputs but had a wider range of moves

The Genre's standards are nuked when a SHENANIGANS GAME LOOSELY BASED ON BATTLEGROUNDS WITH MINIMAL EFFORT ends up better than all the Battlegrounds games ( they werent trying btw to be a Battlegrounds game)

Not anymore the owner is unbanned because he moved to another country

Cool video and all but there is a tini tiny thing you forgot to talk about, the fact that you are doing the same with this video. Some people already know what the situation is so this video is nothing new, maybe because they realize this by theme selfs, by someone else or they never knew this and got the idea from you ( i’m referring to 1% of the pool you made ). The point is you are doing the same thing some battleground games are doing, using an already known content ( maybe even new to someone ) and over utilizing it so much so that it’s just another copy of the last video / battleground made by someone else, so pls don’t be an hypocritical and say it unlike those battleground games ( This is just my opinion and you can decide to follow it or forget it it’s your choice not mine )

I think a bg game with original lore and characters would go a long way, unique characters and a good story keep people invested for a long time even if it's a short story.

the reason battlegrounds games are popular is cause its just fun. its not some go grind for rewards, or some objectives u have to do, its just that, fun

The thing is sometimes moveset is so similar that you can use a combo from other game all i want is unique moveset

TSB wont die imo simply because its too big to fail, at least until KJ comes and goes the game will remain in the spotlight for probably another year at least

I don't even know how are battleground games so popular, they have really toxic communities, they don't have story modes, you can't grind anything except kills (that are useless), the movesets are kinda lame, casual players can't play because most of the community is full of tryharders and there are almost 0 mechanics.

A battlegrounds game is basically smash bros but in a 3-D setting and without the actual fun aspects of smash bros.

I play jjs with my friends cause its so funny lol we just goof around the whole time

The only reason battlegrounde games are this common is because they are actualy easier to make than other games and people stillnplay them

ngl roblox was mostly around fightings, even if battlegrounds genre dies, new borns like a cycle

JJS isn't really dying, considering now that it reached almost 100k active players with 99k active players recently, it's still going around 40k - 100k on avarage now and then.

By your definition of the battlegrounds genre being boring, just repetitive fighting, then that also means Minecraft is just repetitive mining and crafting, Fortnite is just repetitive shooting. However, people love those games, and they haven’t died and won’t any time soon. If you dislike a genre, just say so instead of spouting bullshit of them being a ticking time bomb
