Putting Romina, a boss with an interesting design and a ton of unique animation work below an ancient dragon with a little splash effects that has way too much health is a literal crime.
@@asandwich7162 Even though I disagree I can respect that opinion, but even if you think she's boring her fight has to be better than a repeat of yet another ancient dragon with some splash damage on the side

I agree, the fact that stupid ass dragon wasn't at the bottom is insane, ancient dragons just suck to fight in general and then adding a high dmg spread to every attack just sucks. I don't get the hard for Romina either she's a great fight imo
It's a side effect of how he looks at Elden Ring. There isn't a lot of content in saying 'most things in Elden Ring are beaten by an R2 buffed by one talisman', so he needs footage to back up his claims. If you actually watch Rusty's videos, he spends a lot of time getting knocked around purely because he keeps trying to use spells that equal out to a single R1 from anything stronger than a whip or dagger.
If you ever feel self-conscious about your opinions, just remember that a man with over half a million subs thinks bootleg lansseax is better than several remembrance bosses.
Putrescent Knight being immune to Thioller is a narrative : means that Thiollier would have never ben able to meet with St Trina without the Tarnished.
@@yourfriendly609 I be honest, I did his Quest only to spite him as often as I can that St. Trina rather talks to an random Tarnished than him, an dedicated Follower
She... it? He? Whatever, they. They were never really that much of an issue for me. Just, jump the lighting? Every single build ever has SOME ranged option that doesn't completely suck, so if staying close AND dealing with the lighting spreading around on the water is too much, then just use ranged while jumping the lighting. Both a generic quality build and a Dragon Communion build dealt with this mini-boss in 3 or less tries. The single issue I had was the dmg when I did get hit, but switching armor and talisman dealt with that. I don't feel that it's as bad as people make it out to be.
So, both the Death Knights and Onze placed higher than Bayle the Dread. That was BRAVE. Not saying they aren't damn good fights for what they are. I just thought the clearly INSANE amount of work that went into the latter would place him higher.
To be fair, the main reason so many people love the Bayle fight is Igon. Bayle as a fight is effectively only slightly different from a normal dragon fight: an extra attack or two, a change of animation, modification to damage types. For the most part, besides arena, that's about it. Don't get me wrong, the fight feels cool as hell, but being objective that's what it was
Yep, Igon (And I guess the cinematic phase transition and special attack) is what makes the fight. Else, Bayle is just an overly aggressive salamandra.
I know. I like Rusty’s content but I swear bro is always complaining about the most minuscule problems. It makes me wonder if he even enjoys playing the game sometimes 😂 Like who gives a shit if a death knight saps your health when it grabs you? They serve the living embodiment of death, it’s fitting lmao.
I knew i shouldve stopped seeing his rankings back in AC6. Dude complained most bosses were way too easy to be good, after fighting them with THE strongest build in the game by far (which was nerfed shortly after)
Honestly this list really shouldn't even be considered as anything other than a meme. It's the only way it makes sense, aside from a few spots. I can respect the top 3 for instance.
By the point I reached the Shaman Village, I was kinda fed up with some of the bullshit I've faced so far, Gaius' weird hitboxes, Jori's teleporting and summonings, Bayle's rotten hide. And once I finally saw who was waiting for me at the entrance, the golden armor, the soundtrack, a honest smile and a deep breath filled my body as I simply happily said: MY BOYS!!!
Honestly, those two sentinels there do more for world building than anything else in the DLC. Marika put two of her elite warriors to guard the miniature Erdtree she created to safeguard her empty village.
Tree sentinels are fun to fight, and there’s like three of them in the base game (three non-draconic ones anyway). I had fun fighting them again. Same with the Fallingstar beast, honestly. The repeat dragon fights were way more egregious.
@@ColinFrantz-n1u plus tree sentinel is one of the best designed bosses in the game. Don’t know what the issue is that these guys are considered worse than lamenter and metyr.

This bothered me too. It’s fine to be annoyed about having to fight base Midra again but you’re gonna waste the entire segment on that? And not highlight all the awesomeness of the fight? LAME.
@ You get it, my dude. You get it. Sure having to fight base Midra is kinda lame, but the rest of the fight is peak FromSoft. An incredible design, beautiful soundtrack and an incredible fight that I feel is the perfect difficulty. Tough, but never unfair. Frantic, but never chaotic. Puts up a good offense, but makes up for it with a weak defense. Rule an amazing fight.
nah fr, not only did he get the drop from the fallingstar beast entirely incorrect, somehow ANYTHING new from the dlc worse than senessax... this guy trippin
Bro likes senessax and fucking gaius more than most of the other bosses Npc bosses and fights like the lamenter are not super memorable and striking, but they are fun and help the world stay interesting. Meanwhile the two bosses I mentioned just take up space and create an unnecessarily difficult barrier for
Another problem is that he can bug out during his phase transition and instantly use a beam out of it, making it unreactable. They should absolutely fix that lol
@shagarumedic tbh I don't find it that big of a deal. If you expect it you just run to the side. Plus I think it's cool. Like Midra is angered and desperate to kill you
This is genuinely one of the most obscene boss rankings I've seen in my life. You usually have a few wild placements, not a dozen. Black Knights and Leda gank squad higher than Gaius, Dancing Lion and Romina? What?
@@ghoulbuster1 Exactly, it's also SUPER fun. Also, extremely emotional. I cried after killing Moore, and I only felt more motivated to do what Miquella couldn't after having to kill everyone.
"The buildup to [the Bayle] fight is... just something that didn´t need to happen." Damn, i couldn´t disagree more. Climbing Jagged Peak was one of my absolute favorite moments in Elden Ring.
Putting Chief Bloodfiend, the Ghostflame dragons/Jagged Peak drakes and the npc fights above Metyr, as well as putting Senessax above Romina AND Gaius above the Dancing Lion, AND then to top it all off putting the Rauh Dancing Lion so high on the list are definitely some of the takes I've heard of all time, I gotta tell you.
@@Stef861 wtf gaius has the most ridiculous hitbox out of all the dlc Bosses and it's just that one charge attack and for some reason the damage on it is inconsistent. Also, for a remembrance DLC BOSS, he has a re-used soundtrack. L take putting Gaius above Divine Beast.
Rusty are you okay? Gaius above Lion and Romina, Sennessax above Romina, The Red Bears being that high?! They’re just Runebears with Shadow the Hedgehog highlights come on
I personally realy like the gaius fight, but putting a random frog-tongued black knight above so many great bosses and senessex anywhere above the last spot is weird. I've rarely disagreed so much with rusty, the times I do, he usually has decent arguments to defend it. Not this time.
sorry man, you actually just aren't allowed to rank death knights above bayle without checking yourself into the nearest mental institution. you're gonna have to remake the video :/
Not to be the random guy who replies to a comment by another youtuber on an unrelated video... but perhaps we could get an idea of when we should expect the next Eldemon video?
I like to think those 2 Tree Sentinels are the duo the Tarnished beat the dogwater out of at the gate in Leyndell, and they're just trying to retire someplace quiet.
I don't know why they're being counted separately too, I know they're a little distanced from each other but you literally don't get paid until they are both dead (as far as I remember)
Did anyone else have 3 tree sentinels in that area I fought the two in the video and then went up the hill on the right and grabbed the holy tree spell and came back and there was a third one waiting for me
It took a while for From to nerf PCR so it wasn't a kneejerk reaction, it's obvious they saw how people felt and took a careful look at him and decided "Yeah we fucked up". Stuff like the pacing of the fight being overtuned for the game he was in, the cross slash being LITERALLY UNDODGEABLE without exact positioning, the hitboxes on his swords being plain wrong, and the visual clutter needed to be fixed. People of all skill levels and familiarities with these games were miserable fighting him; he just wasn't fun. He was over the line. The nerfs didn't make him suddenly easy, this isn't the Balteus nerfs, this is From realizing they overdid it and course correcting.
To be fair the fight was more controversial than just bad for everyone, a lot of people enjoyed the fight despite it's sky high challenge. But they must have noticed that too many people were having too many issues with the battle, so it's definitely good they nerfed the battle a bit. Especially the cross slash attack. Post nerf still took me more than 100 tries to beat so in my opinion it's still more than challenging enough.

i gotta say, the comments section is kind of heartwarming here. it’s nice to see everyone sharing their love for the bosses and the game and expressing frustration with elden ring hate in general. i know these videos are just a bit of fun and we shouldn’t take them too seriously, but dude, if you hate repeat bosses so much, just don’t rank them. do an all dlc-exclusive boss tier list. it’s not fun when the whole thing sounds like it’s a chore for you. maybe take a break? it seems like burnout is making you bitter :(
Yeah, I hope he's doing ok. Like I understand this is often the tone of his videos and the humour he has, but a lot of this wasn't that fun to watch. It was just frustrating. I at least liked the vast majority of bosses and loved a lot of those. So many fantastic encounters and experiences and I seriously don't understand the sentiment that Fromsoft can't make good bosses anymore.
@ yeah i thought the exact same. the funny negativity is nice when he’s ranking shields or shoes or whatever, but people don’t like to hear their favorite bosses get shit on. he even spends half the #1 spot complaining about other bosses. i genuinely hope he takes a break and reevaluates because he just doesn’t seem like he’s having a good time :(
@@margaretmoonlight616 Honestly this DLC is difficult but not just for the sake of it like some say. Even still there are a ton of options to deal with obstacles, and I think the complaints pervading even the good boss commentary serves to show that many people don't know how to play the game. Like Rusty here may overestimate his knowledge in this category just because he's been playing for a while and making content on it. Try to play Sekiro like this and you'll have an even worse time, yet people understand it's a difficult game and accept it. They don't seem to understand the same for Elden Ring. I had my fair share of struggles on my first playthrough (of the base game), but I loved (almost) every second of it and learned the bosses and how to approach different encounters. By the time I played the DLC I was very good at the game and didn't have much trouble besides a couple fights. This DLC is harder though and should be considering what the player has accomplished to get to it. It's not pointless difficulty but meaningful engaging and fun. I love when these characters match their descriptions and the fights are weighty and intense. Difficulty is of vast importance on that front and creates more interesting and fun battles. When you run up against a wall the first thought should be one of learning and acknowledgment of your mistakes and seeking to improve, not to blame the game or the designers. Comedic criticism is good from time to time if done well but this speaks more to ignorance and refusal to approach encounters in different ways. Re-strategising is an important and valuable part of these games. Finding something that works better and implementing it. Anything can work, which is great, but you need the skill to pull it off. There's no shame in using something simpler or safer to help you learn. That's part of the reason these tools exist. Yet people like to complain that it's unfair. Some attacks are stupid yes. Does that mean the boss is bad? No. Bosses are more than a fight. They are an experience. From the Lore to the music to the atmosphere and visuals to presentation and character. These are all vital to creating a lasting impression. Something these bosses have done very well. Something it seems Rusty completely disregards ad nauseam. Or randomly includes when he feels like it. As I said this is more of a humour centric video. Which is fine, but it sort of paints this experience in a very negative light. Deliberately trying to create flaws to highlight and rebuke.
I find the hate to rather comforting because even though the game is fairly good, it REALLY does NOT deserve to be put on a 1km tall pedestal like everybody else is doing.
@@mh6276 I don't think the game is perfect either, but I think the sentiment here is that a lot of prominent voices in the community, who claim to like Elden Ring, focus in so hard on the flaws that it becomes difficult to tell what their opinion actually is. Like he puts Midra at #2 but then spends the whole section complaining about the intro phase instead of saying anything positive, even though it's supposedly one of the best fights in the game. There's a difference between acknowledging flaws and poking fun at a thing you love, and just being pointlessly mean
As someone whos been watching since the hollow knight days, you really need to find something that you enjoy to make videos on again. Since this video was clearly borne out of misery and anger rather than passion.
Seeing a lot of this sentiment, I’m sorry comrade but most of these type o comments are self reports aimed at how a UA-camr did not feel the same about a video game. The difference of opinion brings better conversation and understanding about this series after all, if people are willing to engage it in good faith which is not present in your comment.
@@WitchofHeart13 I have no opinion on the ranking itself, I dont watch these videos to hear people agree with me. The repeat bosses are a little annoying, but I feel like the criticism towards, e.g., the black knight bosses is just like... holding things with a boss health bar to a pointlessly high standard? Like, they're just minibosses. They're given a health bar instead of just being non-respawning so they can have a name and a bit more drama, but they're ultimately a miniboss. But the narrative moment? The brawl with allies and enemies? That was sick.
Repeat bosses suck, but the Tree Sentinels in the DLC gave me a sense of elation and relief I never knew I needed. It was like catching up with an old friend from college after not seeing them for who knows how long.

Having not participated in or consumed any of the discourse on Elden Ring DLC theorycrafting beyond what little Vaati did I have to say I'm genuinely surprised that seemingly a significant number of people were and still are mad about the final boss not being Godwyn. I wasn't exactly expecting Prime Radhan, but we already knew that Godwyn was dead, gone, failed to be resurrected, and the catalyst for one of the ending variants, so I can't figure out for the life of me why people thought he was coming back to do something else.
I would actually have hated it if we ever got to fight Godwyn. I think his story is perfect exactly how it is and turning him into something that the player can fight and defeat would completely undermine the horror of it. The whole point is that his curse can't be stopped because he's already dead. It's like trying to fistfight a disease.
To be fair, that exact argument works on Radhan as well NO ONE expected PCR because well he’s dead and Fromsoft rarely(if not ever) brings back base game characters and make them a boss in the DLC But to answer your question, it is because outside of him, Miquella and Ranni, we fought and/or killed every other descendant of Marika/Radagon so it would make sense that the final boss would be an enemy that we haven’t fought yet hence why there was so many people who believed it to be Godywn
I think a lot of people thought it could be Godwyn given how clear it was the story would revolve around Miquella and the connection between Miquella and Godwyn in the main game. As if the dlc may be Miquella’s avenging of Godwyn or something.
I don't mind it not being Godwyn. There's a dozen ways they could have taken things that would have all felt fine. I'm annoyed they turned Mohg into Vengarl, stuffed Radahn inside, then made us kick their collective asses again. It's not even like this is Radahn in his prime, this is some weird amalgamation of Mohg, Radahn, and Miquela. Maybe it's thematic, I don't care anymore, it sucked. It's my least favorite Fromsoft DLC final boss both in terms of the presentation of the fight, and how fun the fight actually is. There doesn't have to be a big thematic angle to the boss, both Gael and Midir are great, and didn't exist before the DLC, but a lore connection can work well if it's done nicely. Manus and Fume Knight are both great details. This would be more like, if instead of Gael, at the end of the Ringed City, you fought Oceiros again, except they called him Lothric, False King of Cinder, also he was made out of Aldrich goop and was holding Yuria's third sister for some reason.
Okay, but no. Senessax at #18? Senessax, who is just another re-used ancient dragon boss from the base game? Whose name isn't mentioned anywhere in any item description? Who doesn't have a unique soundtrack? Who is just one of three filler dragon encounters on the way to Bayle? Who is extremely frustrating to fight for melee builds due to his aoe attacks, the camera, and hard-to-hit head? He's more than halfway up the list? 17 spots above Metyr, who is unique and exclusive to the dlc, has very significant lore implications, a build-up through Count Ymir's questline and dialogues, and a unique soundtrack? I love hearing this guy's opinions and learning new things I wasn't aware of, but I just fail to understand the logic here.
That's because Rusty having a good take on tier lists doesn't exist when it comes to Elden Ring at least. You should try watching these in.the mindset that you're about to be told something really stupid and nonsensical. That's what I do and it makes it more bearable.
@@scottsocia7828 "makes it more bearable" Bro... Is someone holding a gun to your head? @wideload4202 Bayle really wasn't that fun to me. Half his battle is overshadowed by his head/body or lava thunder fireworks. It's a step in the right direction for dragon fights however.
What sold me on Radahn is the irony of the hornsent predicting and worshiping the horned lion god, but their whole civ was sacrificed to make him come. Radahn with moghs horns, it’s just a grrm vision of poetic irony, the prophecy does come true but in a monkeys paw kinda way
@@Rusty_Spy true, but Marika (I think) was risen to godhood by the hornsent but then she got payback for her shaman people by sending Mesmer against them and hid the gates of divinity, so even though Meq did want to fix that and gave the hornsent a horned lion god, I don’t think that was the plan from the start by the hornsent. Can we talk about how the Scarutree Avatar’s movements, posture and music all reflected how desperate it tried to stay alive and how increasingly difficult it was becoming for it? Couldn't have said it better, I was raging and hating on it during my first playthrough cuz the 3 phase but after later play throughs I just felt bad and sympathy.
This is why I cut back on a lot of from game UA-camrs after a while with Elden ring. It is just annoying to hear someone shit on a game for nitpicks, then ignore anything in prior games. It is feels insane to almost never say anything positive about Elden ring then make like 50 videos about it, ranking some stupid thing like catacombs. I really think Elden rings boss design is comparable to the best in all fromsoft, and repeat ones like tree sentinels and crucible knights are fun anyway, so it doesn’t bug me and the lore does make sense for most locations
This isn't even just a Elden Ring issue, this is just an issue with video game channels in general. I just wanna watch a good, entertaining video about my favorite game. Not here someone bitch over the most meaningless, forgettable part of said game for over 30 minutes
Gaius is genuinely just a good boss outside of the stupid charge hitbox, and it's not like Dancing Lion is without problems (god awful camera), whereas Romina is pretty much the same breed of "relatively generic but mechanically fun and visually interesting fight" as Gaius. While I didn't love him personally, putting Gaius high is entirely reasonable.
Personally, I'm not enjoying the intense negativity in this video. Perhaps it's been this way for a while, but I think the DLC is an amazing achievement whereas this video feels like it's verging on completely lacking any perspective and is just crapping on it because you feel like your audience enjoy your rants. Maybe I'm in the minority here. Either way, I hope there's more positivity in the future.
This is possibly the goofiest boss ranking ever. It doesn't feel like you're being fair, most bosses you only judge them based one 1 or 2 standards instead of all, and some feel just nonsensical. Putting Metyr that low over a single attack? Yet putting far worse bosses higher is just weird, even below fucking sanessax?
@@Brandonious15987i think metyr is the weakest main boss but she still has alot more to offer to be placed that low, and most of her attacks are pretty fine.
Scadutree avatar is my favorite boss in the whole game just for the atmosphere alone, I hope in future titles we will see more nature themed enemies. This sunflower conveys so much more emotion than Miquella and Radahn it honestly should have been the final boss. Like after Miquella is defeated he reaches out towards the erdtree to bless it, and then if you put the pieces together that the huge sunflower must be something special you’d be in for a treat.
It's one of my favorites as well. For the DLC only Midra was better for me. They really didn't have to go so hard with a giant sunflower with anger issues, but they did and I love it. One of my favorite tracks in the game, and I don't actually mind that it's a full 3 phase boss fight (i.e. 3 distinct health bars that they've done only with Friede before). I actually felt a bit bad in the final phase with the music change and how desperate it was. Reminded me of Old Demon King from DS3 a bit.
My favorite thing about the scadutree avatar is how surreal the fight is, at one moment theres a huge plant sliding all over the arena hitting you with its own face, and then it drops a nuke while striking a pose and proceeds to wilt right there.
@Piriphu Midir was more of a "final" boss in that, being the super boss tied directly to the dark and getting the fancy presentation. (Yeah, I count the two DLCs as one, since they're parts of the same story.)
Putting Promissed Consort Radahn so low and with such a vague explanation, and then place a catacomb boss and the fucking magic monkey that three shots you in less than 2 seconds placed so much higher is just diabolical Maybe im just not THAT good at the game to have a right opinion about it, even tho I've beaten it + the DLC, but man...
6:45 What? That Fallingstar Beast gives you the Gravity Missile spell (which is also pretty good), not Spinning Gravity Thrust, that’s on the Sword Lance when you get it
@@Gozieaaa I literally wasn't though...? My comment was saying that PCR was a better boss than Romina and deserved to be put above her in the tier list. Were you high when you made your comment?
Eh, if you were to average all the good to the bad remembrance bosses in the DLC compared to the base game I think the base game remembrance bosses average higher quality.
Usually in a ranking video you usually point out the positives and negatives, special points about that certain fight and your opinion/experience with the fight while also considering how the community feels about it, When I first started the video I was like "Hmmmm maybe it's because we're in the lower ranks that he's only pointing out the negatives" But goddamn this is just straight up hating on everything in the game. You can't get one single positive from this ranking video he's literally just pointing out all the flaws and ranking based off that without mentioning the other 10 positives the boss has for every negative.
If everyone is already complimenting everything about the game and its details then what value could he bring this late into the game already? It’s good to be questioned cause it’s still a video game made by flawed hands, and explaining these will only benefit us.
Personally, I think the flaws of both Dancing Lion fights even out to where I enjoy both equally. One has Death Blight and Basilisks, but the other has less breathing room to outlast the onslaught. Regardless, the fights are still fun and the music is PEAK.
@@T4RN15H3D Personally I just really dislike the reuse of a main boss, not only is it lazy but also I already earned this win. There's nothing new to learn here(except for his least fun attack, death blight frogs), all it's about now is bashing your head against the wall until you have a second good run.
eh, I didn't really care for Bayle. You end up so crammed up in his grill doing melee that it's kinda hard to enjoy the spectacle. I think he's really cool to watch in co-op or free cam montages, but when you are fighting solo with melee, the magic gets lost.
Aesthetically and lore wise, Metyr is actually my favorite boss, well into the top at least. I kind of have a soft spot for eldritch beings of any kind and Metyr won me over the second she summoned a quasar, busted hitbox be damned. My biggest gripe is the fact From didn't turn half her magic attacks, quasar included, into new sorceries while incantations get Light of Miquella. Aside from that, I really love all the rememberance bosses: Dancing Lion's theme hits incredibly well in phase two, Rellana had be begging for another round each time I died, Messmer is just incredible in every way, Igon made the fight against Bayle that much more amazing, Putrescent Knight also has an incredible theme and it's weakness to holy made me vastly underestimate it's moves in later runs, Midra is the Frenzy boss I didn't know I wanted until I was there, Romina is somehow creepy and beautiful at the same time... And I actually really, really, really love the insane spectacle that is Promised Consort. I will admit, the DLC has it's downs: but the ups and moments I had immersing myself were much, much more significant. I wish I could experience it all for the first time again.
Rusty is focusing too hard on highlighting faults that may be conjectural and including jokes in every analysis. Like the jokes are often good but are way overdone. Although this isn't the channel for a measured and fair analysis, and I respect humourous criticism, this is just jarring. So many things to seriously appreciate and admire in a fantastic experience.
24:36 You can give Souls players a bright blue warning sign to jump and they'll still try to roll through the large area of fire on the ground. Miyazaki wept...
@@WitchofHeart13 What do you mean consistently? Jump over the fire. If you're getting hit, you're messing up your jump timing or else jumping with the fire's direction of travel instead of against it.
Romina is implied to be a huge part of the connection between pests, scarlet rot, possibly the sealed rot god, etc. etc. Her former regular human form also seems to appear in the DLC trailer among Messmer's crusade wreckage. She's built up a lot, it's just not explicit because Miyazaki-senpai is flirty.
A singular passing cutscene doesn't do her any justice, especially since we don't get anything that actually explicitly says she connected besides 1 item. There's a difference between leaving things open for interpretations, and then just giving 0 value or being extremely vague for the sake of it, which ER in general kinda does but SOTE is so annoyingly guilty of it, it makes no sense for it to exist
One other really important thing about the second Tree Sentinel is that because it offhands a torch, it can re-set your frostbite buildup, meaning the boss can potentially apply it much more frequently than you'd expect.
@@berserkerciaranthat, I will agree with. It's not much fun if you're not prepared, and most people weren't on their first go around. 4:15 There is a new item in the DLC that lets you charm multiple enemies at once, you were suppose to use it here for this engagement. But most people (like myself) tried to kill it, failed, then switched to sacred blade or some other form of holy damage. Honestly it makes the multi-charming item pointless

Very much so agreed. Most of these criticisms are so exaggerated. A cycle of going easy on the old and too hard on the new. Completely disregarding the plethora of good things going on for the sake of... something or other I don't even know. Very reductive. I don't see the point of videos like these when they become frustrating instead of funny.

@sleep_enjoyer13 I couldn't agree more. I'm always happy to hear people voice their opinions on this series, but it feels like some of it has become so negative now that it becomes unenjoyable. SOTE didn't necessarily meet all my story expectations that I wanted, but it's still a damn good dlc and blows a lot of entire games out the park. Quite frankly FromSoft have never made me care more about NPC's stories then they did here. The soundtrack was amazing and the landscape was beautiful. As you said it feels like people have made a habit of over-criticising newer entries and giving older ones a lot of leeway , not really addressing any of their problems.
@@saggxnoah1979idk if it’s fatigue because I played ds3 for 6 years waiting for elden ring and never got that tired of it. It's a side effect of how he looks at Elden Ring. There isn't a lot of content in saying 'most things in Elden Ring are beaten by an R2 buffed by one talisman', so he needs footage to back up his claims.
The repeat bosses are a little annoying, but I feel like the criticism towards, e.g., the black knight bosses is just like... holding things with a boss health bar to a pointlessly high standard? Senessax at 18 is by far the most outrageos placement you've ever done in any list of these. And I've been watching your every video for at least 3 years.
I expected Miquella personally. Prime Radahn just felt like kind a letdown.
To be fair, that exact argument works on Radhan as well
NO ONE expected PCR because well he’s dead and Fromsoft rarely(if not ever) brings back base game characters and make them a boss in the DLC
But to answer your question, it is because outside of him, Miquella and Ranni, we fought and/or killed every other descendant of Marika/Radagon so it would make sense that the final boss would be an enemy that we haven’t fought yet hence why there was so many people who believed it to be Godywn
The only thing I hate about the DLC is that Relana and Romina didn't get any opening cutscenes or dialogue at the beginning of their fights
That's what I do and it makes it more bearable.
it’s bc these videos are written by chat gpt

When I watch these videos I watch them for his commentary not the actual tier list, that's not supposed to make it "bearable" that's supposed to make it fun to watch because you get what you're here for not slog through a video you disagree with, it's like me saying that I hate a comedy film with religion in it, just cuz I don't believe in god doesn't mean I can't appreciate good comedy because I'm watching the video for the comedy not the religious messages, I'd rather not watch it than pushing through it because the film was stating bogus stuff I disagree with
@@Keatos634I don't think so man
I mean, Metyr is pretty damn frustrating but putting her so far below those bad repeat bosses is kinda insane
Bayle at 7 is criminal
That's what I'm saying bayle had the best dragon design from fromsoftware he was so badass dude was missing one leg and one arm, ripped wings in the start but suddenly pops them outta nowhere and starts spinning around, had the best moves, throw in igon for some good measure and fromsoftware was even kind enough give the perfect weapon for bayle which we get after defeating THE ANCIENT DRAGON MAN, it was so peak. he deserved any one of top 3 spots
Radahn AND bayle being below dancing Lion is already criminal. Love Rusty but I def dont agree with the top 20 rankings
Nah,mid as it can be.
@wideload4202 Bayle really wasn't that fun to me. Half his battle is overshadowed by his head/body or lava thunder fireworks.
It's a step in the right direction for dragon fights however.

this videos proves rusty has finally lost his mind after the 100th ranking video.
Putting a dragon, and not any dragon, freakin Senessax over Romina is diabolical
What sold me on Radahn is the irony of the hornsent predicting and worshiping the horned lion god, but their whole civ was sacrificed to make him come. Radahn with moghs horns, it’s just a grrm vision of poetic irony, the prophecy does come true but in a monkeys paw kinda way
Not really a monkey's paw when Miquella's intentions were to overthrow Marika's order and offer reparations to the hornsent.
Fun to think about, gotta love ER
Can we talk about how the Scarutree Avatar’s movements, posture and music all reflected how desperate it tried to stay alive and how increasingly difficult it was becoming for it? Like I felt straight sad when it got all lethargic and shit at third phase. I wanted to find a way to beat it but keep it alive. Was like killing a puppy
Remember, not all opinions need to be shared
I think Senessax should be last simply for how unfun the fight is
Placing Commander freakin’ Gaius higher than Romina and Dancing Lion is beyond all levels of insanity I could think of
A least Gaius is unique and only has one bad move, but having Senesax so high in the list is just ridiculous
Gaius is good. Stinkysex on the other hand...
At least it's not as bad as the freaking death knights getting higher than bayle
@jacobnorris8256 gaius is very fun to no hit. If you can dodge the fight it's a straigh duel with no stupid chip dmg
The funny part is Renalla is only the Pontiff clone in appearance. Go take a look at Consort’s moveset vs pontiff’s
I don't agree with the placement, but he put Metyr low for more than just that 1 attack.
No myter is bad because of like half of her attacks
@@Brandonious15987i think metyr is the weakest main boss but she still has alot more to offer to be placed that low, and most of her attacks are pretty fine.

@TheLastGame666 I don't agree with the placement, just like I don't blame his reasoning on 1 attack.
“Divine Beast Dancing Lion doesn’t have camera issues”

Every other boss is way cooler and more appropriate as a last boss than roofie twink and Radahn 2 electric bogaloo.
People thought Messmer would be the final boss? From has never had the final DLC boss as the poster boy.
Friede?
@@PiriphuYeah, I was about to say...
@Piriphu Midir was more of a "final" boss in that, being the super boss tied directly to the dark and getting the fancy presentation. (Yeah, I count the two DLCs as one, since they're parts of the same story.)
Ivory King?

Putting Promissed Consort Radahn so low and with such a vague explanation, and then place a catacomb boss and the fucking magic monkey that three shots you in less than 2 seconds placed so much higher is just diabolical
Maybe im just not THAT good at the game to have a right opinion about it, even tho I've beaten it + the DLC, but man...
6:45 What? That Fallingstar Beast gives you the Gravity Missile spell (which is also pretty good), not Spinning Gravity Thrust, that’s on the Sword Lance when you get it
His point stands though, that is an amazing spell(from what I have heard and seen)
Gaius, Putrescent Knight, Consort Radahn and DAMN SENESSAX being higher than my girl Romina is a crime against humanity.
Promised Consort does kinda deserve it, sorry... But the other three def do not.

"Most of them are bad"
Not really. Some are bad, most are mediocre, some are good. This trend applies to bosses of every souls game.
Eh, if you were to average all the good to the bad remembrance bosses in the DLC compared to the base game I think the base game remembrance bosses average higher quality.
I really think you dont even like the fromsoft concept for elden ring. This list in utterly disrespectful.
@@WitchofHeart13 hes still not gonna talk to you
Ah shit... here we go again
Senessax being not bottom three is crime, putting it above f’ing romina and in the top half of the list deserves a trial in Nuremberg
Senessax being that fucking high up is mind boggling
Complaining about reuse bossfights and then putting them higher than original boss is a crime
Reused dragon fight over Metyr is wild
Main changes I'm betting the average person would agree with:
-Senessax in dead last
-Ruah Divine Beast close to the bottom
-Bayle at #1 or #2
Personally, I think the flaws of both Dancing Lion fights even out to where I enjoy both equally.
If it worked consistently then I’d give you points on this one but it do be a problematic hit box.
@@WitchofHeart13 What do you mean consistently? Jump over the fire. If you're getting hit, you're messing up your jump timing or else jumping with the fire's direction of travel instead of against it.
The putrescent Knight is that way because Thiolier wasn't meant to make it to Trina on their own. He NEEDS your help.
"This guy's design is cool too"
The design in question being a larger version of an enemy. Damn, I'm sold, above Metyr it is!
She deserved more, by FS I mean. Huge potential wasted, the ideas are there but the execution isn't the best an I'm tired pretending it's not.
Yet she doesn't even get a cutscene.
16:00 I mean, your character is canonically the most powerful being in the world, and you're also a student of Sorceress Sellen in many playthroughs.

Didn't exactely meet the bar of high expectations they have set, most bosses lack a lot of things, but i have never been this invested with Fromsoft's NPCs since like ever
