A run like this is really fun because, besides the obvious "Maternal Staff + Impenetrable Thorns go brrr" strat, the DLC alone provides a ton of really useful and strong weapons and strategies like the Falx you can really easily get from killing Hornsent, the Backhand Blades, Milady, Bloodfiend's Arm, Hand-to-hand weapons, Ashes of War like Carian Sovereignty, Flame Spear, and The Poison Flower Blooms Twice, and items like the Priestess Heart that gives a pretty considerable boost to an already really solid build. The DLC even gives us a bunch of items for meme runs like the Mantle of Thorns spell or the Lamenter's Mask.

Hey Gino! Back when I completed the game, i didnt really get any motivation to play after getting all items in my first run. But you dropping so much content, I played more after that. This DLC series got me so crazy hyped ngl ❤
Messmer's eye thing is a seal on the Base Serpent within him placed by Marika because she was afraid of the danger it posed against the Erdtree. Thats why she abandoned him in the Shadow Realm as well.
I wanted to beat the DLC myself, then watch though all of the "first playthrough" streams before i moved onto these condensed edits. Now that im FINALLY finished and caught up, these really feel like a treat. Great stuff, man.
55:54 The thing that Mesmer removes is not an eye, it's a Merica's Scarseal. She put it in place to contain the "based serpent" that dwells inside him.
i truly consider gino's content to be the peak of elden ring content. something about the pure mastery and cold percision he has makes you excited to go play the game again and again. i will have this on before going to sleep thank you very much gino and hunter.
1:01:00 the thing is cuz it deals insane damage if the enemy is poisoned, that's why you use weapons like venomous fang which deals Lethal poison instead. which procs the poison blooms twice dmg to deal extra when enemies are poisoned.
Meteoric ore greatsword is the first weapon I completed the dlc with. Was very enjoyable and I love the aow on it. Learning the final boss fight with it was extremely challenging but rewarding and fun
17:00 Glad I'm not the only person experiencing this. Seems to happen whenever you do certain button inputs at the same time I guess? I always fix it by unplugging my controller and plugging it back in though.
The poison flower blooms twice gives scarlet rot if you hit them with the ash of war, it can be detonated like poison or just applied for the DoT. It gives you poison on the weapon and scarlet on ash of war, good for affliction builds
I love how Igon spends an entire MINUTE yapping about Bayle when summoned, but it's so funny how every line of dialogue he has is specifically to curse out a dragon.
1:01:22 Part of my first DLC playthrough used this ash of war and the poison infusion on the scorpion stinger rapier. Since the poison status was higher, I would often proc poison, skill burst, and then shortly after proc rot, and then do a second skill burst later.
I dont know if you know this but, the long range attack that the sunflower does where it shoots two lines of thorns at you. You can just jump over them when they activate. Love the content❤

1:55:28 ik when I was testing stuff out that Sword of Light/Sword of Darkness stacked with Sacred Order. I'm not sure about Golden Epitaph's Last Rite though
Damn, dude. I know part of it is that you're just an incredible player, but this run really made me realize how low my damage was. You're using only DLC items and finished off at about the same Shadow Tree Blessing, but your single hits were doing almost twice what mine were. Your ability to evade attacks is obviously much higher, but the build knowledge really caught me off guard. No wonder I struggled so much with the last boss! My R1s dealt about 650 damage compared to your 1400. That's a lot more time stuck in the arena trying to dodge flurries of blows. It wasn't the point of this video, but thanks for teaching me something pretty damn big.
I can definitely see some of the reasons why people don’t like the mother of fingers boss but I liked it so much. I used a milady and didn’t have any problems with the fight. The adds even though vaguely annoying, die in one hit and are super slow and low damaging. I have no idea how you’re meant to dodge the quasar attack (black hole laser one) but it only hits once and then isn’t much of a threat. Rest of the attacks seems super easy to punish. Definitely lmk your thoughts if y’all care to, but using a no summons no buffs milady build with poison flower blooms twice found it super fun
thought this was going to be the same as some of the other challenges like this ive seen, was absolutely shocked when you revealed that you have unupgraded flasks
Thanks to the controller that it didn't want to work, so I would never have seen Voicemeeter on your desktop. I love this audio program, and you make really cool videos
It was very clutch for me that they added the upgrade materials. I did mogh early and got into the dlc. I didn't have access to high level smithing or somber smithing stones. I wanted to do DLC before entering lyndell and locked myself to level100.
I've got a pretty interesting challenge for you: Beat Elden Ring as Sanji from One Piece Rule 1: you can only use your kicks to deal damage Rule 2: you have to complete all questlines given by women and you cannot damage or disrespect any of them. Rule 3: you can use summons, but only the ones that are confirmed to be women, like the jellyfish Rule 4: you must kill everyone that weilds a sword(including NPSs, but not including Melania) Rule 5: ashes of wars and spells can be used, but only if it doesn't deal damage I've tried this challenge myself but killing the Draconic Tree Sentinel seems impossible for me. For anyone who is willing to go through the living hell that is Sanji's life, I wish you good luck. Keep in mind that anything that isn't mentioned in the rules is fair game.
Try a no hit run except your goal is to beat the game alongside someone you know that hasn’t beaten Elden ring before (you need to be summoned into their game and help them complete their stages as well as your own)
gino, i have no idea if you read YT comments but metyrs big fuck you laser actually has a no mans land between the rotating beam and the aoe underneath her. you don't even have to roll to it, you can just stand there and buff stack or range her. sick video as always : )
There's currently a bug where if a boss has a status on them, like poison or rot, DLC Ashes of War will instantly cleanse the effect. Found out when helping people fight Rellana (to learn her moveset while earning runes ofc. I ain't a saint)
I don't quite know how to articulate why, but I think the Scadutree Avatars Tree Blast in its third phase might be my favorite boss attack in Elden Ring6
Rellana screams Boreal Dancer, to me. Not only do they have a flashy move style, but they also are a Dual Element Boss with a similar armor and color scheme.

I quite liked it as well, but I agree, the quasar attack (first rotation) is BS
thought this was going to be the same as some of the other challenges like this ive seen, was absolutely shocked when you revealed that you have unupgraded flasks
These runs are awesome ngl

"Here comes the sun do do doo:🎵🎶
that 1 hp Messmer kill was insane
36:07 mount up and use flail to do charge attack, can break the Furnace Golem's stance very quickly
I love flame spear so much it's my new fav AoW
Blind spot on backhand blade with cold infusion carried me through my first DLC playthrough.
I've got a pretty interesting challenge for you: Beat Elden Ring as Sanji from One Piece
Rule 1: you can only use your kicks to deal damage
Rule 2: you have to complete all questlines given by women and you cannot damage or disrespect any of them.
Rule 3: you can use summons, but only the ones that are confirmed to be women, like the jellyfish
Rule 4: you must kill everyone that weilds a sword(including NPSs, but not including Melania)
Rule 5: ashes of wars and spells can be used, but only if it doesn't deal damage
I've tried this challenge myself but killing the Draconic Tree Sentinel seems impossible for me.
For anyone who is willing to go through the living hell that is Sanji's life, I wish you good luck. Keep in mind that anything that isn't mentioned in the rules is fair game.
I'm in love with Gino's chuckle.
Video idea: "Elden Ring but it's only chuckles"? (no homo)
editor needs a raise, soooooo much content to edit
"How did that sword get in his head?"
That's Nanaya business, dude
This NPC fight is just something else. I am still scarred from my first playthrough where I accidentally locked myself into 1v5 fight. GOTY 10/10.
Let's goo it's here! Thanks for the hard work Hunter
Even more proof the DLC is actually a new game added to the previous one. Glorious !
Messmer literally saying he’s gonna kill him
Gino: 😆
Try a no hit run except your goal is to beat the game alongside someone you know that hasn’t beaten Elden ring before (you need to be summoned into their game and help them complete their stages as well as your own)
gino, i have no idea if you read YT comments but metyrs big fuck you laser actually has a no mans land between the rotating beam and the aoe underneath her. you don't even have to roll to it, you can just stand there and buff stack or range her. sick video as always : )
Igon's Voice actor need a fuckin raise Bro i dont Care How much He is already making he needs a raise
I agree I thought it was weird to receive so many upgrade materials, but now it makes a little more sense. I want to play the dlc at level 1 as well.
The bosses are a huge step up from the base game
Promised Consort Radahn is an exception to this
cancel the whole run he had 4 talisman slots unbelievable, thats getting a subscribe
The big bosses „missing“ 99% of there moves and the little guy atacks do no damage. This is cinema
