The reaction from Tomua's teammates is heart-warming
The two mullet-heads consoling him lmao.
amazing
Priceless from his teammates

The BEST o Humanity defined by Tomua's team after he missed the game winner.

Bro I don't care about losing but the rebels support to their no 10 after his missed the panalty is everything. Loved Loved it
From the highlight reel it feels like the ref was killing the game. Lucky for Reds Toomua is human sometimes
Bit attention seeking, blowing that whistle like he was at some 90s rave
@@alasdairduncan3 I never saw the game so I am not sure if that was the case or not. But from what I saw here, the players were penalised for doing stupid shit, so that wasn't really the refs fault. By comparison, the NZ referee in the Saders game let too much stuff just go unchecked.
Please don’t show the caption of the Reds celebrating, you’ve ruined watching this by effectively telling us who won!!!
I've only seen one thumbnail where it was the losing team holding the ball hahaha.
Reds 1st try should of been disallowed - 10 joins the maul and slips over the 2. He's then the defining player in blocking the tackle
Absolutely right
I thought so too.
100%
Those were the "highlights". the ref blowing his whistle. Tedious.
Hope this ref never referees a test
Killing the game, and that was no a red card man. if you go for a turnover thats the risk you have to take.
@@NiwanzTFT That was 100% a red card. Have you not been watching rugby this year at all? Two almost identical failed clean outs resulted in red cards in different games in 6 Nations. This was not a first, or even a surprise. The minute they showed the contact with the head, the rest of us knew what was coming...
@@Karma-qt4ji where the hell else is the attacking player supposed to make contact while defending his ruck? The player had hands on the ball going over an established Rucker and the ref didn’t warn him or anything, he honestly had no choice. That was entirely the refs fault
@@shackletonsteward7401 Dunno why you're having a go at me, mate, I don't make the rules. But I *do* watch enough rugby to know that this is exactly what happens when you go barrelling into a ruck and make contact with someone's head. O'Mahoney (Ireland) was suspended for 3 weeks (after pleading guilty) and Fagerson (Scotland) was suspended for 4 after trying to defend his actions, for doing EXACTLY what you saw in this clip. That's now three seperate games, three different referees, same result.
"No choice"? Yeah, bullshit mate. It's been years since any player was allowed to take matters into his own hands. You have to bind and you have to stay away from the head. That's World Rugby's regulations, been in play since before the RWC, so no, it is not the referees fault.
@@Karma-qt4ji not having a go bud, just pointing out how frustrating the state of the game is. The defending player had positioned himself over an established Rucker, leaving on his arms and head exposed. He was grabbing onto a ball he had no rights to, the attacking Rucker could either let him have the ball or try to clear out the ruck making contact with the only human body parts available to him. That’s on the ref for allowing an illegal poach to occur. The blow to the head was a result of the initial illegal action. Sure, the ref never sees the first punch being thrown, but they watched the play on TMO. Should’ve been a penalty and a yellow at most.
Great work and thanks on getting these highlights out so quickly. It's just a shame we here in asia can't watch live matches as no broadcast rights appear to have been sold.... guess Rugby AU don't need the money.
Stream the games bro
@@preest_nz no rights sold here in asia...streaming or not.
Ah no lol. Matt Toomua going to be on one of those big hits videos Americans react to.
The best thing about this tournament is I’m so fuckin pumped when aus super rugby and nz super rugby rejoin. This moment in time is really showing the value of individual domestic comps. I hope administrators see this and continue it even when we combine.
Well done the reds! What a game! Nz fan 👏
WE ARE RED!! Well done lads! very scrappy but a win is better than the alternative.
What a climax, the game of 2021 thus far? Hell do i know.. Rebels fought bloody hard to gain control over what many anticipated would be a queenslander walkover, but Reds had to dig even harder. Feel bad for Toomua it's hard stuff nailing kicks at the highest amount of pressure, ppl say Hodge would've aced it but we'll never know if he'd have done it or hit another upright. Well fought.
Reffing was brutal!
I was at the game GO REDS
Nice I’m Canes fan also goes for the reds.

Daymmmm.. the lads one tomua after the missed conversion... they'll be back
ラグビーの季節がやってきたぜ!
What shameful decisions 😵😶
2:05 correct me if I'm wrong but that 6 was clearing out from the side right?
Correct. Side entry - should have been a pen to Rebels
@@jamesmarshall6024 yeah I was a bit anxious about that, suprised it didnt get called up. Poor reffing imo
Toomua too focused on himself being on the Big screen lol
32 penalties in 80 minutes - that's one every 2.5 minutes, or (if you count actual flowing game time) one every two minutes or so. That can't be just poor player discipline. Other factors: referee's first Super Rugby game (ie. inexperience and/or overexcitement), and rules reflecting excessive fear of future legal action (never the best guide for getting on with life). That does not make for an entertaining game, quite the opposite. If a player goes low just before they are tackled and/or holds their head with drama afterwards, there is plenty of poor-spirited Refereebooed
plenty of poor-spirited penalty-milking to be had. Referee was booed from the field at the end.
I agree brother
Apparently cleanouts warrant a red card now...
Keep it up ref..national side will have players with fuck all game time..hahahaha mmmaaaatttteeee
Australian rugby is back and looking exciting! now that you have a Zimbabwean in charge;)
Cant believe we have to go play those kak Irish teams. I miss super rugby!
"Kak" in Afrikaans means shit.
Nicholas is probably South African. And I don't believe Leinster, Munster or Ulster is shit.
@@realriaan3620 yeah saffas being arrogant again, they forget how we were 3 years ago!

@@Thegrumpycoach can't wait to see a Bulls v Munster double header. Duane Vermeulen vs CJ Stander should be mouth-watering..
Reds reminded me of the crusaders last night giving away penalties all over the place haha
Rebels will improve and make their comeback after this loss.
Yessss! 👊
A very sad ending for the Rebels and Matt Toomua in particular after he had kicked so brilliantly during the entire match. FANTASTIC support by his team mates after that last kick went wide. Those are the typical gentlemen of this hooligan game we all love so much. Good game all-round, bar that unfortunate red card
incident. Regards from the land of the World Champs!
Was that ref a young Wayne Barnes in disguise?
Both are clowns
6:09 great crowd

3 kickers on that team. Should have been Reece Hodge kicking
That red card was a bit harsh...
Where are the supporters?
It's still lockdown mate, it's only a limited amount of people
Red card decision was the worst I've seen to date. Yellow would have been a poor decision too.
I heard the refs whistle more in this 6 minutes highlights video than I'd hope to ever hear the whistle in 80 minutes. It's never a good game when the ref loves the sound of his whistle.
1.it was a red card 2. I’ve only seen these highlights but the referees accuracy was very high. If the players behaviour means you have to blow 30pks in a game then that’s what you have to do. There were two material attacking side entries he missed in these highlights too so there’s another two that could’ve been notched up. No referee wants to blow their whistle constantly but from what I can see he had little option
@@andysmith2196 Yes Andy you are right, the players were clearly not disciplined enough. However, there are penalties given away at almost every breakdown (going on the letter of the law). The best refs know which ones to penalise and which not.
Rugby is one of the only sports in the world where a good or bad game is decided by the ref and not the players. That is a negative for rugby union. I hope this will change over time.
goodgame
Please watch from 5min only....nothing happens before that🤣
shocking decision, never a red card.
Hodge should've kicked that last penalty and that's facts
Oh he hit my head. No he did not
Good game but the Reds need to work on discipline a bit more as you have to play the ref
Great game
Reds 13 is good hey
name's Hunter Paisami
Vengo de caso cerrado xd
How come no one is in the stadium ?
Reds deserved to win.
Wouldn't call that a thriller

Just way too many mistakes from both sides. The knock ons were ridiculous. O'connor was a bit of a bomb scare at times. Quite a disappointing game.
Is the rebels kicker Ellyse Perry's ex husband/boyfriend?
pretty sure they are still together
Shamefull how the crowd booooed on the last penalty....truely shamefull
lol so un-australian
terrible ref
Worst red ive seen. Really wasnt anything wrong with the clean, even by todays rules
Forearm to the head. Red all day every day 🤷♂️
It is a red by the laws unfortunately but the laws need to be properly followed as there is also a rule where no player can have their head below their hips in a breakdown so it should have been a free kick against the jackler
@@benbryan4468 dont be a pussy.
Alex c is that a rule in Super Rugby? Don't think it's about head being below hips - it's more about the length of the jackler. I.e. Player cannot be too long or be off balance and therefore not supporting own body weight. Apologies if a ruling in Southern Hemisphere as talking from UK 😊
@@jamesmarshall6024 if u look it up in the world rugby laws it should be a rule for just rugby union in general rather than specific to a certain competition
Reff did all he could. This reff was biased af
Iam a rebels fan but thats not a red card!
Though it is.
Penalty at the very most!
@@Olivierstreet indeed
You forget how boring Aussie rugby currently is until you watch this
How was that a red card? Ridiculous.
worst ref I ever seen
If these are the top Australian sides, then New Zealand teams won't be losing their sleep anytime soon.
How good are you? A 5 min clip of the game and you can sum up an 80 min performance, what insight.
That red card was nonsense at best it was yellow or warning. As for the yellow card, that was BS. This is not touch rugby.
The Referee loves the sound of his own voice and whistle more than the game. I battle to recall another recent game where the referee killed the game like this..! Pathetic TBH!!! worst highlights real ever.
I wasn't expecting my profit from Austin but I was amazed when I saw my bitcoin profit just today.
@kolim jone thanks have you tried to invest with

Super rugby should just be shut down if they can’t fill these stadiums it is so embarrassing to watch 🤦🏾♂️
It's because of Covid man
@@Trajan2401 super rugby doesn’t have a full stadium unless it’s for the finals and only maybe the finals no matter what year 😭
@@kungfukhi2378 Super rugby gets very similar attendance to what is in france and england, but for super rugby they use international test sized stadiums which makes it look worse than it is. In europe they use much smaller stadiums for domestic rugby
@@StarLeo_ you see that makes sense but if super rugby wanna be called “super” it should have super attendance in all stadiums 😭
