- Super Rugby Trans Tasman | Reds v Blues - Rd 4 Highlights
The Blues put in another solid shift to remain unbeaten in Super Rugby Trans Tasman, defeating the Queensland Reds on the road.

So the Blues beat the Reds, the ref and the TMO, F**K we good 🤣🤣 #UpTheBlues

Better Aussie scorelines this week lol, still not cutting it though
Was at the game the Blues forward pack was subpar compared to when they step up against other Kiwi teams. Havng said that the Reds did well with the youth and late changes. For mine Harry Wilson was the best on the park from both teams, just always working...
So the refs allow forward passes tries and knockon tries to make it at least look close.... Pffft...like its a competition.
Even as someone supporting the reds I have to agree. Reds prop was very lucky not to get carded for the tackle as Christie scored his try too.
It not a knock on, Jesus, learn the laws of the game before you start bitching. And there is no way to actually tell if that was a forward pass or not because you can’t see the ball between the two players on the replay, unless you have X-ray vision, we’ll do you?

@@keza41 I’m a Reds supporter. But that was terrible refereeing. From the camera angle you would have seen the ball if the pass was backwards. The camera space between Pasami and Wilson only disappeared when Wilson was in front of Pasami. It was a forward pass. I’m glad the Reds got the bonus point, but it was lucky.
Well, he was a Kiwi ref, so that's all Ill say. Why wasn't Amy Perrett given a game??
4:11 looked foward. Idk how thats a try though wouldn’t change the outcome of the game
It's definitely a try look closely the ball falls backwards and then rolls forward so that's still play on
It's 1:12 that's the definite forward pass. 4:11 was at least questionable.
I’ll tell you what’s a good indicator of a forward pass, 1. it’s when all the opposition players around the ball start throwing their hands up in the air motioning to the ref it was forward. 2. players yelling at the ref it was forward. 3. Conclusive evidence on the replay it was forward. As not one of those things happened, that tells me, it wasn’t forward. Unless you had a better view than the ref and all the players in the immediate vicinity, I’d say you’re assessment that is was forward is in fact. Wrong.
@@keza41 are you serious? Player’s reaction should be the indicator? How about the knock on try when the Blue’s players reacted to it?
@@thekububeach Did I say should? No, no I didn’t. Learn the laws of the game regarding what is and isn’t a knock on.
i was at suncorp last night, reds first try should have not counted, its was a clear forward but the Blues are just the best !
Two questionable tries from the reds
I’m an Australian and so was supporting the Reds, and even I can’t understand how either of those tries was given.
Hey, a Kiwi ref. Why he had the game in Australia over Amy Perrett is beyond me
Daugunu a former soccer player
Nice win Blues, Reds just lacked the finer elements and got very lucky with a few dodgy tries. But geez I thought that Reds fullback on debut played well! And keep giving Isaac Henry minutes, both kids are good!
That spill for the try is a knock on every day of the week. It never on a single replay looks like it went anything but forward.
This was so good from the start. It is what it sounds like. Red v Blue
Harry Wilson is a work horse!
thanks for the video upload

Another good game.
How about that kick from Daugunu 😂who knew?

He used to play soccer in fiji..
The Blues are the team in white.
New Zealand Rugby is amazing but I'd bet if you want to improve as a side then you would want to play these teams weekly. Especially a test match. Most other international teams don't play at this level week in week out, so when the AB's come to town they hit you with a tempo and a skill level which is shocking to the system surely.
Is that why the All Blacks couldn’t beat the Wallabies in the 1st Test at Eden Park last year and were lucky to escape with a draw. Shock? Or why the Wallabies beat the All Blacks the last time they played? Shock?
@@keza41 what is the record between All Blacks and Australia?

All forward passes. Modern Rugby.
Unless you finally work out what constitutes a forward pass in rugby.
🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥👊👊👊👊👊
The Reds’ first two tries should have been disallowed by VAR
Why?
@@keza41 first was a forward pass, second was a knock on
First pass wasn't forward, you only suspect it was forward and you don't know the laws of the game if you think that was a knock on.
@@keza41 it was a clear forward pass. And how is that not a knock on?
@@keza41 it was a forward pass
Aussies gettin closer !
At least the Aussies are really really good at that tight shorts kicky ball, which is played no where else on earth.
And league which the warriors are useless at
I wonder of you have ever seen Gaelic Football? Very similar game to “tight shorts kicky ball” so close in fact that they play Test matches to see who is the best at it.
Funny thing the ref was a kiwi
Why is it funny?
@@thekububeach I see all the fans complain about the ref and I can't disagree SA Aus and NZ Refs are pathetic at this piont
Where is james o connor? Sorry i miss the first half
3:25 Did anyone else notice that hit by Paisami on Otere Black? Oof
Ate him clean, didn't think he was gonna get up easily
Yea it was stupid and it cost them the try, Black was easily covered and he created a huge gap for Talea because of it. Big hits are great, but winning games is better.
yeah the one that created an overlap. ahahaha
@@sirkingsalot Yea the one where he nailed a guy who was already covered by 2 defenders inside him with enough time to get the pass off fairly comfortably to exploit the huge whole he left
2 questionable tries but you gotta give it out to one of the commentators who was very neutral even doubting the Reds tries...sorry couldnt make out who the commentator was as i just watched the highlights and he sounded very neutral..
It was Tim Horan

REDS
Missed the game it looked close let me guess rubbish reffing again
Combinaton of both, one blatant knock on/lost forward try that was awarded, and a Blues forward pack that lacked cohesion the tight five basically disjointed. Pick and go should have netted the Blues at least 3 more tries, from my obeservation being at the game.
Red vs Blue. The age old rivalry.

Not so much sympathy tries but even Kiwi refs have been very poor. Yes the TMO could have said no, but the wording was on field Ty and give me a reason not to award it
And that’s how the reds won last week with the help of the ref that reds try was clearly a knock on🤦🏽

Rugby is slowly becoming the softest sport....how was that tackle dangerous? Might as well start watching soccer or rugby players should start wearing pads and helmets like the nfl
Agree, physicality is what makes the game what it is, may as well just turn it into touch and be done with it
@@Jackthompson01 the game is becoming so pathetic.... I understand the fact that you have to protect the player but damn....it's not like he picked him up and dropped him on his head.
And this bullshit where if you tackle the guy literally on the chest it's high.
There are no more hard hits in rugby
More cannon fodder for the kiwis Supposed to be champions can’t be champions if you lose
Gee, that’s a dumb comment. I see the Crusaders won SRA this year but lost 2 games in doing so, I guess they can’t be Champions either, right?
I think someone has forced these Aussie players to play rugby and coaches to coach them. if they have a real intention to play better rugby they have the resources to achieve the required standard to do just that that within a week. it is not a bout the quality of the players it is about their commitment. until Aussies commit themselves to the game there will be no competition and that is the gulf between Aus and NZ teams.the biggest example is the way Paenga Amosa played. He threw wild passes at the line out, gave away silly penalties and earned a yellow card but still could not see any remorse or regret on his face nor did he try to rectify those errors he just kept playing the way he wanted. I think the problem is in the attitudes of these players.
So many penalties and penalty adv just ruining the game..
Kiwi fans complain about Aussie Refs and Kiwi refs, like what kinda refs do ye want reffing the game?
