That's like one of the most basic things to know/do in audio production. That way you can augment the send seperately from the source audio (eq-ing it, panning it, compressing it, mid/side editing it etc.)
@@PotatoSmashGamer my music background is from playing and recording metal music, and having a generic reverb and delay buss would not have been useful in that genre hahahaha

@ 5:38 you bussed the hats to a "reverb" and "delay" buss AND also have it routed to the master. Seems similar to how people bus channels in pro tools, like having multiple outputs instead of bussing signals sequentially. Can you maybe explain exactly what your doing and how that differs from bussing the hats through delay, then reverb, then to the master? I've always wondered why that method is a thing so feel like I'm missing something.
Its not a bus, they are sends. so his hihat channel routes only dry to master, sends route only wet to master. its basically just a channel with 100%wet signal for reverb etc. that goes to master, and u can send different channels thru it. hope i did explain :D

Olli H ahhh ok I get it. So you could also route the hat to a buss with only reverb of on it and turn the dry/wet knob within the reverb all the way to the wet side and it would have the same affect as a send? Essentially sends don’t pass dry signals at all?
Also is it possible to buss multiple channels to a send and then buss the outputs from the send separately? That would be so helpful and idk why it’s not a thing (at least I don’t know about it)

Shakar send are good so you can route multiple channels thru same send so all the channels get the same effectchain, saves cpu alot :D also you get to have a completely own chain for your effect alone, and still having a dry signal going to the master. for example if you want to eq your reverb

it's very versatile but honestly i don't think it's worth it, fruity delay 3 is insanely good for being a stock plugin

I'm guessing because it's just that good. I don't use it because I assume it's a paid-for plugin and I just don't have the money lol. So, stock plugins it is.
HottRoundzProduction nah they're not sponsored, they just have extra money to throw at these plugins. if you have the money, absolutely get it, its versatility is unmatched, but as someone that can't spend all that much money on these things, stock plugins are an absolute necessity for me

Some basic mixing needed to blend the counter and main melody in the final 3rd of the song
