Nah, this was insane. All the beats were RIDICULOUS!!! The amount of knowledge on sound design in order to manipulate the 808 to get the sounds wanted is really inspiring too. I'm definitely diving into the world of sound design after seeing this. Props to all of you, seriously.
This is a good example of how knowing sound design is one of the most powerful things you can have as a skill when your producing music because that means you can make fire stuff out of anything meaning that you don’t need expensive plugings or VST to make good music it’s all about how you use what you have
Both Rux' and Lxrich's tracks are insane in different ways. Rux' sound design game is incredible and earned the deserved reactions and while yes, Lxrich's track sounded more rough I have NEVER heard such a drop. It's such a vibe and transported me straight into the 5th dimension.
Lxrich was rethinking life like what the hell am i doing with my life🤣🤣 but bro that was some crazy club/party vibe you put up there. shoutout to you Lxrich. i would like to hear a finished version of your beat. Rux do have like a discord where you could share some of your sound design tip with absolute beginners like us Simon all time king of surprises. just when you think you have heard it all then he introduces some element that just take you to space. Would like to see another challenge/collab like this. Big ups to you guys.✌✌
All 3 beats slap in different ways tbh. What a gem of a vid. Has really inspired me to look into sound design the last few days. Would love a more in depth vid on how to use the different types of white noise
omg simon, if you want to make some majestic drake type pad with a kick all you need to do is in the sampler turn the crossfade to 100% and turn the length down to 5%, you can turn the sample start to where you like. now go to the envelope settings, turn the mod x all the way down and turn up the mod y to wherever you like. now go to the mod x tab and mess with the amount knob below the little display (you can also mess around with some of the knobs beside it. now just mess around with some of the other settings, i personally love messing with the ring modulation and it adds a nice texture to it. now once you’re done with that, add reverb and different effects you want to add and boom you have a pad
An easy challenge, everything is made of some waves and an 808 is just a distorted sine wave with a pitch bend. Low pass a single cycle and you can make literally any genre with manual additive synthesis if you work hard enough 😂
This video is absolutely epic! Challenging producers to make a beat with ONLY an 808 is such a cool concept. It's amazing to see the creativity and innovation that comes from working with just one instrument. The variety and depth of the beats they created are mind-blowing. Huge props to everyone involved - you all took the 808 to a whole new level! 🎶🔥🛠
I really love challenges like this where every artist has to think outside the box! very inspiring, making me want to just do such a challange just for myself!
I already knew the hyper pop one was going to be the best once he said he was going to make it because if you make hyper pop you already know its one of the hardest genres to produce out there
Lxrich facepalming to everyones music - really speaks to his respect of others and a bit to his self worth - Id of done the EXACT same thing! Bangers all round boys - keep it up!
hyperpop one is insane af, it's not even different from most hyperpop songs out there (or even better)
appreciate it man ❤

Man, so refreshing to see young producers who know how to actually produce. Not just splice and loops
Peace and love to all the loop diggers though
takes skill to sample a loop well though

That hyperbeat is the hardest beat I’ve heard in a while. I could just listen to it by itself on repeat
These were insane. Hyper pop was nuts🔥🔥🔥🔥
thank u bro ❤
I don't even listen to hyperpop and i loved the hyperpop one! It's even more amazing knowing the sample and time constraints
I can’t even do that in 6 hours with a library of sounds 😂 great work, fellas
Love Lxrich melody
14:24 love the background bird melody!
Everyone did an awesome job, damn!
That one kid doubted himself too much. I liked his beat a lot!
After seeing that thumbnail I realized that an 808 would be a fire piece of art on the wall 🔥

2nd dude is insane
I really liked beat 2. I've been listening to a lot of this stuff lately, and it was really cool to see this style from the inside.
Lxrich's beat is the winner in my book. That lead line is insane, I dig it so hard.
Love Lxrich’s reactions lmaoo!
i really love it when they put the sponsor on the video's timeline. that way they make it easier for me to skip it 😈

i just tried this challenge hour long video on my page thanks for the idea i kinda made a simple dark trap beat
the hyperpop guy was going places
Lxrich has the best Beat! You can really listen to this in the car or at a party! And Rux has a lot of potential for Glitch Hop and Dubstep!
Dang! The hyperpop guy killed it. Subbed to him.
Aint no way he did that hyperpop beat in 1 hour holy fuck
Rux killed it 🔥
6:40 bro realized that 808 is really just a sustained subbass and he can use it any way he wants ._.
The hyperpop one is insane
thanks man i appreciate it

I love how Lxrich gave up the moment he heared Rux's mix😂😂😂
dude in the middle snapped fasho
And I am challenging you Simon to make a Amapiano type beat... I'd love to hear your take on the sound. Watching from South Africa.

Simon's sounds like the beats they use in the Complex Sneaker Shopping vids 😭
even if Rux's beat was made without just an 808, it is still in my top 5 fav beats it sounds so cool!!
rux is crazy with the fucking growls wouldve never thought of that 😭
