I have no idea what battery to use on this thing. Most of them have tamyia connectors? Is there some sort of adapters to connect with modern lipos or nmah? Anyhow this starter box looks similar to will power.
@@leomerino3906 it should be the same. The smaller black top piece is for the back of the truggy and is should be all the way to the end the bigger black piece is for the front
@@weekendrc Starter box, I have used 4S in the past infact since 2007 on the same box. But looks like people are advising to use a 3S because 4S has too much power.

I’m sure if you search for one you will find it, or a hobby shop can make you a connector, my local hobby shop makes them you should ask
Man I followed your steps and my losi truggy won’t fit like on your video. Had to take the top pieces off in order to fit. Any guidance

Do you have a backplate on your engine or is it still pull start?
@@weekendrc yes took out the pull starter and installed a back plate. The top parts that I screw in hit the back body of the losi
