- Couldn't find a proper instructional video about how to install and charge a eight farad capacitor. This video show how to install and use the resistor to charge a car stereo cap. I also tested the capacitor and installed a 2500watt Boss amplifier.

Thanks for the tutorial, nice project 👍
Where do you connect the remote cable to the positive or to the amp remote
When the car is running the car battery should read almost 14volts because the alternator is charging battery. With car off car battery voltage is 12 volts.
correct mine reads @ constant 13 .9 and when the bass is really you can see the drop on the cap led
why is the diode connected to the remote wire hub??
those capacitors doesnt let the battery and alternator work properly,i had 13.4-13.6 on a mirifical)) 18farad boss capacitor, removing it,instantly at 14.3v
I think this one was a 8 Farad capacitor
Will it run my 1500 watt audiopipe?
You can cross the bridge and pull around 1,333 watts with only two channels. If you bridge, your going to need somthing connected to the other channel like speakers or another audiopipe or sub. Note: Running this type of amp in bridge creates a lot of heat! But yes, it should push anything at 1,500 watts with it really peaking.
No this is just a stiffener cap to keep your lights from dimming it's 8 farad which fyi 1 farad is 1 amp /1 watt and that's in one second so not enough to run a mosquitoes vibrator but it does cause resistance to keep the fluctuation voltage from being noticeable in your headlights
@@KnowName33 I added 1 8 farad and mines jamming hahahahhaha. Also 3 agm batteries behind it so yeah not very helpful but it does shorten the load on my alternator.
@Miles Ford holy fuck wow
@Miles Ford Imagine tryna hack your girl Instagram You a jit
Ni se sabe de donde viene cada cable amigo!
Where does the remote connect to?
Middle, just like the amps.
@@Zeroini but does it connect from the capacitors to the amp? Or the capacitors to the radio?
@@mcgerry1543 It needs to be close to the amp, have near the battery can cause thermal issues. It like a battery with a fast discharge rate, which protects dashboard electronics and prevents light dimming. Also improvement in sound quality by allowing the amp to peak.
@@Zeroini still doesn't answer my question, let me ask it different. Can the remote from the capacitors be connected to the amplifier?
@@mcgerry1543 The remote wire is a 12volt connection from the radio to the amp and capacitor. Note, some cheaper caps only have a positive and ground. The boss capacitor has a volt meter built in and needs a remote wire to work. You can daisy chain the remote wire.
