This seems to be a good board with lots of pci slots which I need for older things I still use. The Version B550-E strix asus removes a pci slot and adds another m.2 . I am seeing more boards today loaded with m.2 probably for gaming and not much for users that are non gamers, but need a decent computer. This board seems to be the best option I nave found so far
Hey! Amazing video! This has helped me confirm if I wanted to get this motherboard or not. It was very helpful! Tbh I'm new to PC Gaming and i'm getting ready to build my first PC. I just have a few questions about the antenna that comes with the motherboard. 1. Is it optional? meaning do you have to use it? (I was assuming yes because it's for the wifi but then I also thought that it wouldn't be a bad idea to ask just in case) And 2. Does it have to be next to your modem or router to work or does it have to be plugged into your modem or router? or do you just plug it into the motherboard itself and it let's you choose a wifi connection? (also i'm a guy btw sorry if the profile pic and name gives everyone the wrong idea) Once again really amazing video.
Hey, for if the antenna is optional, I’m pretty sure technically yes, but you can plug it in to the back of your computer and it EXPONENTIALLY increases wifi and Bluetooth speeds, so I definitely reccomend using it.
Thanks. First thing is it is not necessary to connect the antenna to motherboard if WiFi connection is not required! Otherwise definitely have to connect it. Second thing is it doesn't have to be so near to the hotspot device upto 10m range it picks up the signal.

At present any operating system (OS) works flawlessly with this motherboard, windows 11 ready means you won't face any compatability issue when you upgrade to new os. I previously installed windows 11 works fine. Now i am working with ubuntu 22.04.
It works . No need to update bios for that processor, after building pc with that processor you can update bios later for stability the latest version bios.

No it doesn't have type c header so you can't use front panel usb type c port if your cabinet have one but there is solution if you want it, there you have to use type c pci-e card then you can connect it to front panel type c usb port. It has got type c port on the back.
